1 [To the chief Musician. Of David. A Psalm: a Song.] Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, and let them that hate him flee before him.
1 Levanta-te, ó Deus, e dispersa teus inimigos; fujam de ti todos que te odeiam.
2 As smoke is driven, thou wilt drive them away; as wax melteth before the fire, the wicked shall perish at the presence of God.
2 Sopra-os para longe como fumaça e derrete-os como cera no fogo. Que os perversos sejam destruídos na presença de Deus.
3 But the righteous shall rejoice: they shall exult before God and be glad with joy.
3 Que os justos, porém, se alegrem; exultem na presença de Deus e sejam cheios de alegria.
4 Sing unto God, sing forth his name; cast up a way for him that rideth in the deserts: his name is Jah; and rejoice before him.
4 Cantem louvores a Deus e a seu nome, exaltem aquele que cavalga sobre as nuvens. Seu nome é S alegrem-se em sua presença!
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
5 Pai dos órfãos, defensor das viúvas, esse é Deus, cuja habitação é santa.
6 God maketh the solitary into families; those that were bound he bringeth out into prosperity: but the rebellious dwell in a parched {land}.
6 Deus dá uma família aos que vivem sós; liberta os presos e os faz prosperar. Os rebeldes, porém, ele faz morar em terra árida.
7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness-(Selah) -

8 The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, yon Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

9 Thou, O God, didst pour a plentiful rain upon thine inheritance, and when it was weary thou strengthenedst it.
9 Enviaste muitas chuvas, ó Deus, para refrescar a terra exausta.
10 Thy flock hath dwelt therein: thou hast prepared in thy goodness, for the afflicted, O God!
10 Ali teu povo se estabeleceu, e com farta colheita, ó Deus, proveste aos necessitados.
11 The Lord gives the word: great the host of the publishers.
11 O Senhor dá a ordem, e um grande exército
12 Kings of armies flee; they flee, and she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.
12 Reis inimigos e seus exércitos fogem, enquanto as mulheres repartem em casa os despojos.
13 Though ye have lain among the sheepfolds, {ye shall be as} wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with green gold.
13 Mesmo os que viviam entre os currais de ovelhas encontraram pombas com asas de prata e penas de ouro.
14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it became snow-white as Zalmon.
14 O Todo-poderoso dispersou os reis, como uma tempestade de neve sobre o monte Zalmom.
15 {As} mount Bashan is the mount of God, a many-peaked mountain, {as} mount Bashan.
15 Os montes de Basã são majestosos, com cumes altos que chegam até o céu.
16 Why do ye look with envy, ye many-peaked mountains, upon the mount that God hath desired for his abode? yea, Jehovah will dwell {there} for ever.
16 Ó montes elevados, por que olham com inveja para o monte Sião, onde Deus escolheu habitar, onde o S
17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them: it is a Sinai in holiness.
17 Cercado de milhares e milhares de carruagens, o Senhor veio do monte Sinai para seu santuário.
18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts in Man, and even {for} the rebellious, for the dwelling {there} of Jah Elohim.
18 Quando subiste às alturas, levaste muitos prisioneiros; recebeste dádivas do povo, até mesmo dos que se rebelaram contra ti. Agora o S
19 Blessed be the Lord: day by day doth he load us {with good}, the *God who is our salvation. Selah.
19 Louvado seja o Senhor; louvado seja Deus, nosso salvador! A cada dia ele nos carrega em seus braços. Interlúdio
20 Our *God is the *God of salvation; and with Jehovah, the Lord, are the goings forth {even} from death.

21 Verily God will smite the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth on still in his trespasses.
21 Deus esmagará a cabeça de seus inimigos, esmagará o crânio dos que insistem em pecar.
22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring {them} again from the depth of the sea;
22 O Senhor diz: “De Basã farei descer meus inimigos; das profundezas do mar os farei subir.
23 That thou mayest dip thy foot in blood: the tongue of thy dogs has its portion from enemies.
23 Você, meu povo, lavará os pés no sangue deles, e até seus cães terão sua porção!”.
24 They have seen thy goings, O God, the goings of my *God, my King, in the sanctuary.
24 Já se vê teu cortejo, ó Deus, o cortejo de meu Deus e Rei, entrando no santuário.
25 The singers went before, the players on stringed instruments after, in the midst of maidens playing on tabrets.
25 À frente vão os cantores, atrás vêm os músicos, no meio vêm as moças tocando tamborins.
26 In the congregations bless ye God, the Lord, -{ye} from the fountain of Israel.
26 Louvem a Deus, todos vocês, louvem o S
27 There is little Benjamin, their ruler; the princes of Judah, their company; the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
27 Vejam, à frente vai a pequena tribo de Benjamim; logo atrás vem a grande multidão de governantes de Judá e todos os governantes de Zebulom e Naftali.
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
28 Manifesta tua força, ó Deus, mostra teu poder divino por nós, como fizeste no passado.
29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
29 Os reis levam tributos ao teu templo, em Jerusalém.
30 Rebuke the beast of the reeds, the assembly of the strong, with the calves of the peoples: {every one} submitteth himself with pieces of silver. Scatter the peoples that delight in war.
30 Repreende-os, esses animais selvagens à espreita entre os juncos, essa manada de touros no meio de bezerros fracos. Faze-os trazer barras de prata como humilde tributo, dispersa as nações que têm prazer em guerrear.
31 Great ones shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall quickly stretch out her hands unto God.
31 Que o Egito venha com dádivas de metais preciosos, que a Etiópia
32 Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God; sing psalms of the Lord, (Selah,)
32 Cantem a Deus, reinos da terra, cantem louvores ao Senhor! Interlúdio
33 Of him that rideth upon the heavens, the heavens which are of old: lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.
33 Cantem àquele que cavalga pelos céus antigos, cuja voz poderosa troveja dos céus.
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
34 Anunciem a todos o poder de Deus; sua majestade está sobre Israel, sua força é poderosa nos céus.
35 Terrible art thou, O God, out of thy sanctuaries, -the *God of Israel! He it is that giveth strength and might unto the people. Blessed be God!
35 Deus é temível em seu santuário; o Deus de Israel dá poder e força a seu povo. Louvado seja Deus!
