2 Wononnati kadaruure erekkeessatti haassinoon aamo kaɂekkaasatero wono aani laara,
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Wonona haassinoon kakkoonsegaatero ibaaddo kekkeesiin ohandaareen handdaa farate, ibaaddo goɂameen lakkoɂemeeyinnanno ame.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 «Adena okkalee ohandaaran faregure oɂuumameraanne goortta aaraarinna kak'aabaan ‹Giddikkee enɂaayegure ekkaasayera kameen dubba mankkoɂekkaatero maraan haassinoon koyeen, amara ama segaa.›
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 «Oɂuumameeran goɂameen uumit diidengureen; koo ira tos, kakkalee dookki daddalayin seete,
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Oheseeran adeen ohandaaran abeenguren abboosiseen lagadeen.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Wonona amaraategure wotaadara faregure hanɂu olagadeeraan lagadssise; katamaattisoonna eleenii gube.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 «Esekkona ohandaareenne haa ame, ‹Kahaassinoo aamo ekkaatera, ayesuun goɂameen oɂuumameeranna aamoon odootisaraan leen mankkomutanawaateran maraan;
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Kakkosesseetaran raadii biyaagudden kaheltteen ibaaddo dubba kajila aamo tos uuma› ame.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ohandaaranna raadii beengureen kaheleen ibaaddo kaɂidanna kameellan dubba kukkuyisenguren kahaassinoo min martti ammageen.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 «Wonona taɂuumanttetto martti din min orddi gotabro ibaaddoti koo kahaassinoo sarssi hasarssannoni kagiro dee.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Haanna ame; ‹Ani kageelaataro!› kahaassinoo sarssi hasarissannooni misii hittarraa tabin daanddeete? Ibaaddotina goɂameen taɂamiɂabbaabro waate.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 «Wonona ohandaaranne; ‹Genena luk'k'ana shiyaagudden sarre kagiro t'illinggakki mugud tos beesaddeen usu shafa, eseenna ottanna ilkko fooc'ano linnara› ame.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Esekko Yesuusa, «Oɂuumameeranna omoogganiyyaan, oɂassaabameeraan goɂameen huc'c'arriyyaan» ame.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Karoomi wonolaalkokki wonowuun giira murano dootisara muu lakkodootisaroya alla noon segii? Ameen hoosaten.»
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Yesuusana miiggettisoo addeesere, «Isin ifissaaddolee mewuun ayeesii in c'aafin dootaattan?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Giira tamurattaan maragade alla iin tusa?» isona t'agaraa too keneen.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Usuna, «Hitta maragadeeyi gutii tamutatta middi taayyotta? S'uufinna ade taayyotta?» ame.
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Isona abbaabeen «Karoomi wonoyya» ameen. Usuna abbaabere «Karoomi wonokokki karoomi wonoon, kawaanna Waawuun sisa» ame.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Isona hikka maalengureen ayeeskkeessaa saadaa iiseen seeteen.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Ogoyeraan goyikko kii goɂabbaabateen daruurii kagiro erggichchaal aani linnaraan kuwaarre lakkoɂatayinaraan; lakkonakeesaminaran.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

Seeral kamuse dubbakko karoorara eeki ajajaya?»
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yesuusana isoon abbaabere, « ‹Goottaa Hedokkaa migitti wodanaayi, migitti neefooyi, migitti k'ofaayi geelaa›.
38 Hikki ajaja kahoraarjjeenna dubbaankko karooraro ajajaya.
40 Seera kamusena kahegeroolkokki agaalssis dubba hikka ajaja lamaa gutii dhaabbateen giraan ame.»

42 «Gara kakiristoosa me aani laara? Sannii taayyoya?» ame iso hoosate.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Yesuusana, «Hayya daawute Ayyaana K'ulluukkinna hunnaayi muun usu, ‹Goottaa!› amara? Ame.
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 « ‹Gootta Goottakkeewun!
45 Haannuun Daawute, ‹Goottaa!› Ami goɂuumiro hayya Kiristoosa misii sanniitteessa liin daanddaara?»
46 Haafura koonna abbaabin kadanddeera goorttun ese arrikko haggaɂabere hoosayin kajabaate maayyona laagiro.
