1 Ngkíq, cóq anhia cachian táh nheq ranáq sâuq. Chỗi táq ntỡng lauq; chỗi cakéq; chỗi sa‑on cumíq; cớp chỗi voŏq sâuq yớu.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Cóq anhia ham parnai Yiang Sursĩ samoât carnễn mbỡiq canỡt ham dỡq tóh. Chơ anhia bữn dáng sa‑ữi ễn tễ ngê Yiang Sursĩ, cớp anhia bữn tamoong mantái,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 yuaq anhia khoiq chim chơ tễ ŏ́c sarũiq táq tễ Ncháu hái.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Cóq anhia toâq pỡ Ncháu. Án la samoât tamáu tamoong cũai khoiq táh, ma tamáu ki Yiang Sursĩ khoiq rưoh cớp án pasếq lứq.
4 — ausente —
5 Cóq anhia toâq yỗn cỡt samoât tamáu tamoong tê, chơ chiau yỗn Yiang Sursĩ ĩt tâc anhia dŏq táq tanang dống sang Yiang Sursĩ. Ngkíq anhia cỡt samoât cũai tễng rit sang Yiang Sursĩ tâng dống ki. Anhia chiau sang crơng yỗn Yiang Sursĩ tễ mứt pahỡm anhia, cỗ nhơ tễ Yê-su Crĩt.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Tâng tâm saráq Yiang Sursĩ tễ mbŏ́q khoiq pai neq:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Anhia ca khoiq sa‑âm, lứq anhia pasếq tamáu ki, ma máh cũai tỡ bữn sa‑âm, Yiang Sursĩ pai tễ mbŏ́q neq:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Cớp parnai Yiang Sursĩ pai neq tê:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Tễ nhũang anhia tỡ bữn cỡt tỗp ntrớu, ma sanua anhia la tỗp Yiang Sursĩ. Tễ nhũang Yiang Sursĩ tỡ bữn sâng sarũiq anhia, ma sanua án sarũiq táq anhia.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Sễm ai ơi! Anhia la samoât cũai tamoi, samoât cũai ỡt dỡ tâng cốc cutễq nâi. Máh ramứh sac sâiq hái dốq yoc, chỗi yỗn ramứh ki clũom mứt pahỡm anhia.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Cóq anhia táq pỡq o ỡt parnơi cớp cũai tỡ yũah sa‑âm. Khân ngkíq, toâq noau yoc ễ tũn apớt anhia táq ranáq tỡ o, nheq alới hữm ranáq anhia táq la o. Chơ tangái Ncháu toâq loah pỡ cutễq nâi, dếh alới ki hỡ bữn khễn Yiang Sursĩ.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Cóq anhia trĩh máh cũai sốt tâng dỡi nâi, yuaq Yiang Sursĩ ễq anhia trĩh alới, dếh puo sốt lứq,

14 dếh ayững atĩ puo ớn toâq manrap máh cũai lôih cớp khễn cũai o.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Yiang Sursĩ yoc anhia táq ngkíq dŏq cupât chíq bỗq cũai sacũl. Alới tỡ têq pai noâng anhia, khân anhia táq níc ranáq o.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Anhia la tỡ cỡn cũai sũl, ma anhia chỗi ưo tễ ŏ́c ki dŏq táq ranáq lôih. Cóq anhia cỡt samoât sũl yỗn Yiang Sursĩ.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Cóq anhia yám noap nheq tữh cũai, cớp ayooq máh cũai sa‑âm. Cóq anhia cucốh sang Yiang Sursĩ cớp yám noap puo.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.

18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Lứq Yiang Sursĩ yỗn ŏ́c bốn pỡ cũai ca chĩuq noau táq alới cỗ tian alới ễ puai rangứh Yiang Sursĩ.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Khân anhia chĩuq tanhĩr noau táq anhia cỗ tian anhia táq lôih, ŏ́c ki Yiang Sursĩ tỡ bữn khễn anhia. Ma khân anhia chĩuq tanhĩr noau táq anhia ma anhia tỡ bữn táq lôih ntrớu, ŏ́c ki bữn kia yáng moat Yiang Sursĩ.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Yiang Sursĩ khoiq arô anhia yỗn chĩuq tanhĩr máh ramứh túh coat. Máh ki tê Crĩt chĩuq yỗn anhia; chơ án cỡt ngôl dŏq paryỗng hái táq puai án tê.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Án tỡ bữn táq lôih ntrớu, cớp án tỡ nai pai muoi ŏ́c lauq ntrớu.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Toâq noau ayê ra‑ac, án tỡ bữn ta‑ỡi loah. Toâq noau táq án, án tỡ bữn canứh ntrớu alới. Ma noâm án chiau pỡ Yiang Sursĩ, án ca rasữq pĩeiq lứq chóq nheq tữh cũai.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Crĩt chĩuq dững tâng tỗ án toâp máh lôih hái táq, bo án cuchĩt tâng aluang sangcáng. Án táq ngkíq, dŏq têq hái cuchĩt tễ ngê tiaq, la ngê ễ táq lôih, chơ hái bữn tamoong loah tâng ngê tamái, la ngê ca ễ táq ống ranáq tanoang o. Cỗ nhơ tễ tỗ chác án chĩuq bớc chũl, anhia khoiq cỡt bán loah.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Tễ nhũang, anhia cỡt samoât charán cữu clŏ́c rana, ma sanua anhia khoiq píh loah pỡ án ca kĩaq rabán raviei anhia.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
