Ila⁄imbidu Gu ⁄abu hari Burungaisoo (BDS) vs VC
1 Teesaaqay, kwahha segenge tlakwaroo goõ, kwaciimaa, peereehhii, tloomu haa iliitlohhiduu goõ.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Taqay daa⁄a⁄ee gooay, diĩ laqwali inkoo, kwayruuda kitahhu ilibaa gu muuna gu gimba gu Iliitleemu doóba hiirooga, hari gimbaki unkuray ma dinaraaraydiri ilabuꞌuruuge.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Gu lou, unkuray haã baraslayidiri tuba, Looimoo gu Goõ guti hhou.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Inkoo, khawaa daqa dosii, ina na Tlaa⁄u gu slafa daa siꞌi ha hida. Teesaaqay see, daqa Iliitleemuge ti tlaa⁄u daay leehhi haa guti kaaru hari khisla.
4 — ausente —
5 Unkuray see, tle⁄eẽ gu slafee pahha, dangu tlehhaahhidi, ma mara gu didiru tleehhitiri gu Iliitleemu, haa hhapalooee daa tlintiꞌisi sa Iliitleemu, ma hadimisidiri ibinaa doó ⁄imbiye ha Iliitleemu sadaaka da muunaiĩ pahha, hari amoo da Yeesu Kristu.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Daqa doogunay unkuray goó iliipaꞌamee, tlaa⁄ukee guti kaaru. Teesaaqay see, daqa dooinay inay goóba iliipaꞌaruu,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Kara, Handikaa da Iliitleemu yoó kaada tuba,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Teesaaqay see, unkuray ti motoliya daay leehhi, hhapalooee da mutemiꞌisoo, hida daa tlintiꞌisi sa Iliitleemu haa daa eteedi. Unkuray dangwaay leehhi, ma kakantiri yondu gosi gu didiru, ina gungwaa eteedu unkuray hhanteego, maay guntiri cencee dosii da bakaꞌasage.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Unkuray wakaꞌalee gwaa hida gu Iliitleemu gooba, inkoo unkuray ti hida gu Iliitleemu. Wakaꞌalee unkuray haa slaydiriiba ⁄awaariru gu Iliitleemu, inkoo unkuray haã slaydiri ⁄awaariru gosi.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Hhiee koi ga slae, unkuray ti dahaa pahha haa khocimiisee khoorotii! Ana hangu tlaatlaqasa, ⁄ipaw slahhaahhaau gu slaqoo, goó qwaatla gau haa muunaiĩ kokuna.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Unkuray ilakooma yondu hhoinay, tla⁄aã gu hida gu hhidimeege Iliitleemu. Bere inay gimati gimbuumisiri see tuba, unkuray ibinaa dooguna da tlakwi, qatlay inay gi ilii ariirinee yondu googuna gu hhou, inay maa daareesiyay Iliitleemu, baloo da khawaraa dosii.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 — ausente —
14 sliimaa haa hida giyaa qaasi tawaaloo dosiige. Sa gimba mutemi higiĩ ya⁄abi inay, ma ⁄agitiniri hhakaꞌa goó yondiidee dakoo haa gi dumbeesiyay hhakaꞌa goó yondiidee hhoinay.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Ibiida hida daa ilabuꞌumi pahha tongaiimaa da ibinaa da tlakwigo, teesaaqay see, hari ilabuꞌuru ga kontee, hhanti yakwiday tlakwaroo, ibiida tongee da Iliitleemu pahha.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Muriida hida goõ. Slaꞌa hhiee kokuna. Gwaa⁄a Iliitleemu. Muriida mutemi.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Unkuray tongee muriida looee dooguna hari gwaa⁄amee goõ. Ti looeta kilesiiba daa cabuumiti haa gwaa qabimisee, slime hiti slaꞌa hhakaꞌa see gu dihhi.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Maꞌaana, hiĩ ti gimba gu hhaꞌaleesa pandaa da Iliitleemuge, bere heedi hiikaasi slahhaaꞌamee, qatlay dugoó ilii labaꞌasiye haaki see hhaka, sa gimba ina khui Iliitleemu.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
Sa gimba Kristu see, dugwaati labaꞌasi sa unkuray, sangugi may ilaꞌaaꞌaatisa, ma sirakontiri ilaꞌaaꞌaatisa da ibinaa dosi.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Ina yaa yondiidiiba tlakwaroo, gimba gu hiicoriduu see, dugwaa slayiiba afa gosii.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Ina dugwaa ilii wahaahami, yaa ilaki⁄isiiba waaruu. Ina dugwaa ilii labaꞌasi, yaa tlaatlaꞌasiiba hida magu tlaꞌamuudiri. Ina hingaati taatahhi daqa Iliitleemuge, ina goó hukuma hari haaki.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Kristu, ina loi, yaa hiioy tlakwaroo doori goõ slaqwa dosii rawaa gu musalaabage, ma gwaai sa tlakwaroo doori. Ina yaa teesaaqay laqi, dandiray mangi mamayni haa tlakwaroo sumuku haa ma ibiidani, ibinaa daa tafaꞌadi pandaa da Iliitleemuge. Hari amoo da difoo gosi unkuray dangwaa hhoeesi.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
