1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 ma hesi yaluyaluwami ꞌana susu bwebweꞌana waꞌebese, gidemusa taudi gwagwama hauhaudi susu nuwanuwadi, eeta susuina yaluyaluwami ꞌadi ꞌabihetena weyahina.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Comi ꞌida Badaina ꞌina ꞌatemuyamuya walotoho pwaiya,
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 ꞌoinega wanaoma ꞌoina, tauna logidi mayawasina, mebaleꞌu silososomaneya, ma hesi Yehoba nuwanuwana eeta ꞌihesinuweya.

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Gidemusa wete Buki Heꞌasisi ꞌoina ꞌigwaeya,
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Ma ꞌomi taiyawedi logidi bewa wahemisaeya, tauna ꞌoimiya ꞌabehega logidi bwebweꞌana hedade, ma hesi taudi geya ꞌoina sihemisae taudi weyahidi Buki Heꞌasisi ꞌoina ꞌihepwaileya, ꞌigwae,
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Ma wete ꞌigwae,
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Ma ꞌomi geya gide taudi, ma ꞌomi hesi Yehoba ꞌina boda hesihesinuwaimi, ꞌomi Kiniina ꞌina topwaoli ma ꞌina tomotaiyao ꞌehaumi, weyahina tupwa guguyou ꞌoinega ꞌibwauwegomiya eeta ꞌina ꞌasilala tobwebweꞌana hedada ꞌoina ꞌilagugomiya, ma ꞌabehega ꞌina paihowa bwebweꞌanaina wahepwaile.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Tuta mwalo ꞌoidiya ꞌomi geya waheboda ꞌaigeda, ma sauga bewa Yehoba ꞌoina waheboda ꞌaigeda pwaiya, ma mwalo wete Yehoba ꞌina ꞌatemuyamuya geya ꞌoimiya ꞌimiyamiya, ma sauga bewa waloba pwaiya.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ciyagwao ꞌoimiya yahepwaila ꞌabehega tauda baleꞌu bewa ꞌoina tohetautaumana, ꞌoinega ꞌimi nuwaꞌubunaowedi ꞌatemiya simiyamiya walogwahatedi, weyahina yaluyaluwami siloꞌalehedi.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Ma wamumuga bwebweꞌana taudi geya meYudiya ꞌoidiya. Weyahina bewa tuwa ꞌabwa siꞌahwaꞌahwa galagalaegomi, ma tuta muliyetega ꞌimi paihowa bwebweꞌana siꞌita, ma ꞌoinega tutaina Yehoba ꞌilatuma Yehobaina sihepwatuwe.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Comi Badaina ꞌina boda, ꞌoinega ꞌilobwainegomiya ma loina mabwaiyana baleꞌuwa waheꞌasisiyanedi, gidemusa kini ꞌina loina ꞌoina watagwalegomi, weyahina tauna toloina madouna,

14 ma wete gabemaniyao waheꞌasisiyanedi, weyahina kiniina ꞌihesinuwediya ma gabemaniyedi togala siloinaedi, ma tobwebweꞌana siꞌahwa bwebweꞌanedi.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Ma Yehoba ꞌina nuwatuhu bewa ma ꞌeguma tomataꞌuꞌupao sigwae besobeso weyahimi, ma ꞌiyamo ꞌimi paihowa bwebweꞌana ꞌabwa siꞌita ma gesowana toꞌaha weyahimi sigwaegwae.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Ma ꞌomi hesi Yehoba ꞌilihasi pwaigomiya ma ꞌabehega waboi waloinaegomi, ma hesi geyaꞌabwa paihowa galadi ꞌoidiya watautauya, ma wapaihowa tuwa gidemusa ꞌomi Yehoba ꞌina topaihowao.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Coinega tomota mabwaiyadi waheꞌasisiyanedi, ma taudi Yesu ꞌana tohemisao wahelauwedi. Yehoba ꞌoina waheꞌasisi madouna, ma wete toloinaina kini waheꞌasisiyane.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Ma ꞌomi topaihowao ꞌimi babadao waheꞌasisiyanedi ma ꞌoidiya wahematamatana, ma geya ꞌabehega babadao bwebweꞌadimo ꞌoidiya, ma wete taudi ꞌidi loina waiwaidi wete waheꞌasisiyanedi.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Weyahina ꞌeguma geya ꞌaigeda ꞌimi paihowa galana, ma sigihemuya daisigomi ma Yehoba weyahina wanuwanuwatuhu madouna eeta waꞌalamaꞌiꞌitana, beno mumuga bwebweꞌana Yehoba matana.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Ma wanuwatuhuyahi ꞌabehega ꞌeguma ꞌida paihowa galana ꞌoinega sigihemuyegita ma taꞌalamaꞌiꞌita, beno geya ginaula madouna. Ma hesi ꞌeguma ꞌida paihowa bwebweꞌana ꞌoinega sigihemuyegita, ma taꞌalamaꞌiꞌitana, Yehoba weyahida ꞌiyaliyaya.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Ma ꞌeda bewa weyahina Yehoba ꞌibwau pwaigita, weyahina Keliso tauna weyahida ꞌiꞌemuyamuya eeta ꞌebeꞌita ꞌilaguya ꞌoida ma ꞌabehega leleyana tamuliyedi.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Weyahina tauna geya ꞌina galamo ma wete geya ꞌeta ꞌabo ꞌahwanega ꞌida latuwa.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Ma tutaina siꞌahwa galagalaeya geya wete ꞌoidiya ꞌiheꞌisa, ma wete siꞌehemuyeya, geya wete ꞌigamwasowaledi, ma hesi Yehoba ꞌihemiseya moisa, weyahina tauna Toloina dumwadumwaluna.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Ma weteyage Keliso tauna wahinega ꞌida galao ꞌiꞌahalidiya kelose ꞌoina, ma nage ꞌoinega ꞌida mumuga galadi sigumwala, ma mumuga dumwaluna ꞌoinega tatauya. Tauna ꞌana badi ꞌoinega ꞌimi bwebweꞌana walobeya.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Moisa, ꞌomi gide sipi hehebeꞌuina, eeta sipi ꞌadi toꞌitayahina ꞌitoe hilegomima ꞌoina, tauna yaluyaluwami ꞌana toꞌitayahina.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
