1 To the chief music-maker, on Neginoth. Maschil. Of David.
1 Ouve a minha oração, ó Deus! Não deixes de atender o meu pedido.
2 \55:1\Give hearing to my prayer, O God; and let not your ear be shut against my request.
2 Escuta-me e responde. As minhas aflições me deixam desgastado.
3 \55:2\Give thought to me, and let my prayer be answered: I have been made low in sorrow;
3 Eu tremo quando ouço as ameaças dos meus inimigos; a perseguição dos maus me esmaga. Eles fazem com que desgraças caiam sobre mim; estão com raiva de mim e me odeiam.
4 \55:3\I am troubled because of the voice of the cruel ones, because of the loud cry of the evil-doers; for they put a weight of evil on me, and they are cruel in their hate for me.
4 O meu coração está cheio de medo, e o pavor da morte cai sobre mim.
5 \55:4\My heart is deeply wounded, and the fear of death has come on me.
5 Sinto um medo terrível e estou tremendo; o pavor tomou conta de mim.
6 \55:5\Fear and shaking have come over me, with deep fear I am covered.
6 Ah! Se eu tivesse asas como a pomba, voaria para um lugar de descanso!
7 \55:6\And I said, If only I had wings like a dove! for then I would go in flight from here and be at rest.
7 Fugiria para bem longe e moraria no deserto.
8 \55:7\I would go wandering far away, living in the waste land. (Selah.)
8 Bem depressa procuraria achar um lugar seguro para me esconder da ventania e da tempestade.
9 \55:8\I would quickly take cover from the driving storm and from the violent wind.
9 Ó Senhor, atrapalha e destrói os conchavos dos meus inimigos, pois vejo violência e pancadaria na cidade!
10 \55:9\Send destruction on them, O Lord, make a division of tongues among them: for I have seen fighting and violent acts in the town.
10 Dia e noite, eles andam em volta dela, nas muralhas, enchendo-a de crimes e de maldade.
11 \55:10\By day and night they go round the town, on the walls; trouble and sorrow are in the heart of it.
11 Por toda parte há destruição, e as ruas estão cheias de exploração e desonestidade.
12 \55:11\Evil is there; cruel rule and deceit are ever in the streets.
12 Não era um inimigo que estava zombando de mim; se fosse, eu poderia suportar; nem era um adversário que me tratava com desprezo, pois eu poderia me esconder dele.
13 \55:12\For it was not my hater who said evil of me; that would have been no grief to me; it was not one outside the number of my friends who made himself strong against me, or I would have kept myself from him in a secret place;
13 Porém foi você mesmo, meu companheiro, meu colega e amigo íntimo!
14 \55:13\But it was you, my equal, my guide, my well-loved friend.
14 Conversávamos com toda a liberdade e íamos juntos adorar com o povo no Templo.
15 \55:14\We had loving talk together, and went to the house of God in company.
15 Que a morte venha de repente sobre os meus inimigos! Que eles desçam vivos para o pois a maldade está na casa e no coração deles!
16 \55:15\Let the hand of death come on them suddenly, and let them go down living into the underworld; because evil is in their houses and in their hearts.
16 Mas eu chamo a Deus, o Senhor , pedindo ajuda, e ele me salva.
17 \55:16\As for me, I will make my prayer to God, and he will be my saviour.
17 De manhã, ao meio-dia e de noite, eu choro e me queixo, e ele me ouve.
18 \55:17\In the evening and in the morning and in the middle of the day I will make my prayer with sounds of grief; and my voice will come to his ears.
18 Ele me traz são e salvo de volta das batalhas em que luto contra os meus muitos inimigos.
19 \55:18\He has taken my soul away from the attack which was made against me, and given it peace; for great numbers were against me.
19 O Deus que reina desde a eternidade me ouve e os derrota. Pois eles não querem mudar de vida e não
20 \55:19\God will give thought to me; he who from early times is strong will send pain and trouble on them. (Selah.) Because they are unchanged, they have no fear of God.
20 O meu antigo companheiro atacou os seus próprios amigos e quebrou as promessas que havia feito a eles.
21 \55:20\He has put out his hand against those who were at peace with him; he has not kept his agreement.
21 As palavras dele eram mais macias do que a manteiga, mas no seu coração havia ódio. As palavras dele eram mais suaves do que o azeite, mas cortavam como espadas afiadas.
22 \55:21\The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, but they were sharp swords.
22 Entregue os seus problemas ao ele nunca deixa que fracasse a pessoa que lhe obedece.
23 \55:22\Put your cares on the Lord, and he will be your support; he will not let the upright man be moved.
23 Mas, quanto àqueles assassinos e traidores, tu, ó Deus, os jogarás no fundo do mundo dos mortos; eles não chegarão até a metade da sua vida. Eu, porém, confiarei em ti.
24 \55:23\But you, O God, will send them down into the underworld; the cruel and the false will be cut off before half their days are ended; but I will have faith in you.
