1 Jisas pahnnɨmo hungkuno apaꞌno aꞌamu somo ulɨmento,
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 Anɨtu aꞌamumo mokosyohumayo soꞌno olo paꞌnyofoho. Hwe yofe engoꞌnjo kakoe hwomu ape mante elɨjwanɨwoꞌnɨngkohofo paꞌnyofoho.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Sɨmoꞌmo kako aꞌamu piꞌnɨngo engo elɨjwanyo wosopayo nɨfitnneꞌento uhwosopoꞌmentisofoho. Oso hohosohonta wopayo elɨjwanyo sɨkuno somo kakoe syoho ulohofiyo sohwamo aꞌamu uhwosopoꞌmentiso sohwa pɨfitnneꞌento utɨmayoꞌne lɨhwatɨmentisoso hofɨko nakwolaho ulɨmentohofofoho.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Osoꞌno syoho ulohofiyo nomꞌne sohwamo lɨhwajonto ulɨmento, Aꞌamu uhwosopoꞌmentohe somo ole ulɨmno. Wopayo nto lɨkuꞌmaho. Nje yahuꞌnji tongoꞌnji fonjasyontɨfi lɨkuꞌmaho. Sekwo oyonɨmno. Ose ulɨmno.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Ose ulahonɨngki nowahonɨngkofi aꞌamu uhwosopoꞌmentisoso hahnꞌnyo yontɨfi hofɨko hofɨkoepi syohoꞌmno humpoꞌmentohofofoho. Nomꞌnihwo kakoe wopayo syohomno umentisofoho. Nomꞌnihwo kakoe kwope syohomno umentisofoho.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Nomꞌneso hwe engo sohwoe syoho ulohofiyo sohwamo wonyo ulohofontɨfi fehohnjo sohwamo hwanɨngo fonjahonɨngkofi nomꞌne sohwamo fonjahumentohofofoho.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Oseso hwe engo sohwo sɨmeho tohino umnɨngkahonɨngki kakoe aꞌamu itokusoꞌnjo sohwamo luhwatɨmento, Sekwo aꞌamu nje syoho ntohofiyo sohwamo fonjahumalofo somo nofonjasyɨkuji hofɨkoe ango toho fɨhmꞌmopmno. Ose luhwatɨmentisofoho.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Ose yahonɨngkofi hwe engo sohwo kakoe syoho ulohofiyo sohwamo ulɨmento, Nje wosopayo nto lɨkuꞌmaleno. I, aꞌamu uhwosopoꞌmentohe sohwafe yahino hopoꞌmaho.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Osoꞌno sekwo honɨngkanoꞌmeemo humpekuji aꞌamu nuhwonɨngkuji nje wosopayoꞌne ulɨmno. Sekwo nakwoꞌnji wohwano. Ose ulɨmno.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Ose ulahonɨngki syoho ulohofiyo sohwa honɨngkanoꞌmeemo nohumpentɨfi aꞌamu hopiꞌnono wopɨngoꞌnji wonyoꞌnji uhwonɨmentohofo somo lɨtɨmantɨfi utɨmotapmmentohofofoho. Osoꞌno hwe yofe engoꞌnjo sohwoe ango somo uhuꞌmokumentohofofoho. Ango hiso aꞌamu hopo imentisofoho.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Hwe moyaꞌmi angomo nohumentanɨngkofi hwe yofe engoꞌnjo sohwo kako aꞌamu swahopohofo somo uhwonɨmo lonto noswonto uhwonɨmentisoso hwe fihwo kako manjiꞌmofo wonyoꞌnjo sohwo nohumentanɨngki uhwononto,
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.

12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.

13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Sekwo ngkimo hamniyoho angaꞌno ntɨhwamno. Ose ulahonɨngki hofɨko hamniyoho angaꞌno kakiyepono motapontɨfi utɨhwamentohofofoho.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Oseso Jisas hamniyoho somo uhwononto ulɨmento, Olo huyoꞌmango loꞌnji yofe loꞌnji tɨhwoeto.
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Ose ulahonɨngki ulɨmentohofi, Sisafefoho.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Ose ulahonɨngki nupaꞌnontɨfi hofɨko yomo yontɨfi Jisasɨmo ulɨkoꞌmantɨfi umentohofofoho.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Oso sɨkuno homo somo aꞌamu Satɨyusi fehohnjo Jisasɨmo uꞌmaꞌmentohofofoho. Oso aꞌamu huhwo sohwa ole lutɨhwawoꞌnɨngkohofi, Aꞌamu poyo peꞌnyo sohwa hofɨko nɨhuꞌnahone peꞌnɨwoꞌnɨngkohofo. Apaꞌno songo molɨkafeꞌnefoho.

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.

26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Oso hwe hopiꞌnono peꞌnɨngkahonɨngkofi ape hiso kako tɨfi peꞌnɨmentisofoho.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Eꞌwano. Ole fonaso. Aꞌamu poyo peꞌnɨfijoso songo lɨkapijo sohonta oso homnɨngkwaꞌwehwo sohwa olo ape losi tɨhwo womaꞌmontolo. Hwaho lopo hopiꞌnono maꞌmentohofofoho.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Ose ulahonɨngkofi Jisas ulɨmento, Sekwo Anɨtuye hungkuno soꞌnji Anɨtuye yokumpohnꞌnyo soꞌntnneꞌno huno maseyohoyohoho. Osoꞌno hwasyo hungkuno ntohofo.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:

32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Hofɨkoꞌnjo ajwo lopo hwe fihwo honɨngkano hungkuno lutɨhwayo syohoꞌnjo sohwo Jisasɨmo yamofo ulohoꞌmo lonto ole ulohonɨmento,

37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.

38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:

44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?

46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
