4 Todo aquele que vive habitualmente no pecado também vive na rebeldia, pois o pecado é rebeldia.

7 Iyataatɨ nisɨ metɨhonyaate, isɨhiya usa napɨwɨ sangi sasatɨtaapo, Autaahaatɨhomɨhɨretɨ japepihɨrɨwɨ bindawaawɨ amɨ maipɨhaiwo, tohɨwaiwaisangi gaasɨ ahoyawɨ kaiwɨse, satɨwɨ sangi jaiwɨsatɨtaawɨ sahɨ baiwɨ jaawo. 9 Aquele que é nascido de Deus não peca habitualmente; porque a semente de Deus permanece nele, e não pode continuar no pecado, porque é nascido de Deus.

10 Nisto são manifestos os filhos de Deus, e os filhos do Diabo: quem não pratica a justiça não é de Deus, nem o que não ama a seu irmão.

13 Meus irmãos, não vos admireis se o mundo vos odeia.
14 Iyataatɨ nyahɨ isɨhiya usaisaatɨ maarɨho namɨnɨhohɨtɨhandaahɨ siyaatɨ aimɨ gwɨnyaahaayo: Isɨhiya apɨpaahɨ kiyaanɨhɨ napwɨtaatɨwɨhandaatɨhɨ namasisɨ nasaatɨ asɨyaanimataatɨ bimɨtɨhaawɨhandaatɨhɨ aimɨ bindahaayo, taatɨ aimɨ gwɨnyaahaayo. Isɨ utaaho wo isɨhiyai maarɨho wɨndɨ biyatɨ namunyataataahɨ so apɨpaahɨ napwɨtaatɨwɨhandamɨ watɨpɨhandaatɨhɨ konɨhɨ bindataate.
14 Nós sabemos que já passamos da morte para a vida, porque amamos os irmãos. Quem não ama permanece na morte.

16 Nisto conhecemos o amor: que Cristo deu a sua vida por nós; e nós devemos dar a vida pelos irmãos.
17 Iyataatɨ utaaho wo ikɨpɨpa asaketaho netɨ utaaho woai usonataatɨ kahapaamapɨpaapɨ ko nenoaahɨtanɨhɨ bimonɨhɨ kopɨ maarɨho wɨndɨ asɨpɨmaawɨsa kahapaamapɨpa wapa koai namunyaho Autaahaatɨhoai nɨnɨ maarɨho nunyataayo, tatɨ napitɨta katɨtaise? Owetɨtaise.
17 Quem, pois, tiver bens do mundo, e, vendo o seu irmão necessitando, lhe fechar o seu coração, como permanece nele o amor de Deus?
18 Isɨ nisɨ metɨhonyaate, nehɨ maahomwaaŋapɨ nyahɨ jaiwɨtaahandɨ isɨhiyaisɨ maarɨho nɨnɨ nahinyataayo, taatɨ katɨtɨhaawɨmaahe. Owetise. Maarɨho isɨhiyai nunyahaawaahɨ tɨtɨhɨ akɨtɨnɨhɨ nyamɨ maarɨhoaatɨhapimaawɨ biyaatɨ maarɨho nunyaatɨ gaahaiwa kawitɨhaawe.
18 Filhinhos, não amemos de palavra, nem de língua, mas por obras e em verdade.
19 Siyaatɨ akɨtɨnɨhɨ maarɨho namɨnɨhaawaahɨ, sandɨ Autaahaatɨho Akohomɨ metɨhonyaanɨne, taatɨ gwɨnyaitɨhaawe. Iyataatɨ Autaahaatɨhomɨ ndɨhetɨ amɨ nyamɨ maarɨho nga wɨnyaitɨtaise.
19 Nisto conheceremos que somos da verdade, e diante dele tranqüilizaremos o nosso coração;
20 Iyataatɨ kɨnyɨ kinyɨ maarɨhoaatɨhapɨ satɨpɨ, Autaahaatɨho nisɨ maipɨhandɨ wɨndɨ nemaanɨmase, tɨpɨ pɨhɨtɨpɨ gwɨnyaasamaahɨ Autaahaatɨho netɨ kɨnyɨ maarɨho napaisaatɨhɨmaitaise. Iyataatɨ kɨnyɨ kɨwahoŋɨ maarɨho namɨnɨhingɨtɨhandisɨ Autaahaatɨho nangɨtipɨhaatɨ aungwohandɨ maarɨho nahɨnyahosɨ kinyɨ maarɨho netɨ napaisaatɨhɨmaitaise. Iyataatɨ Autaahaatɨho nahatewaapɨ gwɨnyaahore. Gwɨnyaahosɨ kinyɨ maipɨhaiwaapɨ aimɨ nemwaho tatɨ gwɨnyaahore.
20 porque se o coração nos condena, maior é Deus do que o nosso coração, e conhece todas as coisas.
21 Iyataatɨ naisɨhiyaatɨ nisataiwɨ Jisaasihopɨ baiwɨ gɨwunyaahohiyɨhiyaate. Samɨ maipɨhaiwaapɨ Autaahaatɨho aimɨ nenyamase, tɨwɨ gwɨnyaawaawaahɨ sandɨ Autaahaatɨhomɨ ndɨhetɨ wɨndɨ yamaiwɨ nga bimɨtaapo.
21 Amados, se o coração não nos condena, temos confiança para com Deus;

22 e qualquer coisa que lhe pedirmos, dele a receberemos, porque guardamos os seus mandamentos, e fazemos o que é agradável à sua vista.
23 Iyataatɨ Autaahaatɨhomɨ wɨnɨhapɨpa nyangi kanyatimbɨpa kɨmbaare: Sahɨ Nisɨ Maasɨhɨho Jisaasihopɨ Isɨhiyaanangi Japɨhɨ Nanyamaitandɨ Autaahaatɨho Ahɨwisɨhore, tɨwɨ baiwɨ gwɨnyaapɨse. Aiwɨ amɨ isɨhiya usaisawɨ maarɨho namɨnɨwɨse, tatɨ kanyatataase. Iyataatɨ amɨ Jisaasihoaisangi pɨwɨha kɨma ka aimɨ kanyatisɨhaare.
23 Ora, o seu mandamento é este, que creiamos no nome de seu Filho Jesus Cristo, e nos amemos uns aos outros, como ele nos ordenou.

Gɨnyunyaasɨhɨ Autaahaatɨho nyangisatɨndaise, taatɨ aimɨ nyahɨ gwɨnyaahaayo.
24 Quem guarda os seus mandamentos, em Deus permanece e Deus nele. E nisto conhecemos que ele permanece em nós: pelo Espírito que nos tem dado.
