2 having witnessed your pure conversation {carried out} in fear;

4 but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible {ornament} of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price.
5 Galoo si'cza bejn regunaa ni gujc xpejṉ Dios ni huililajz xtidx Dios, basucheereni lastooreni, basoobreni xtidx chäälreni.
5 For thus also the holy women who have hoped in God heretofore adorned themselves, being subject to their own husbands;

7 {Ye} husbands likewise, dwell with {them} according to knowledge, as with a weaker, {even} the female, vessel, giving {them} honour, as also fellow-heirs of {the} grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.

9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary, blessing {others}, because ye have been called to this, that ye should inherit blessing.

10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.

11 And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it;

12 because {the} eyes of {the} Lord {are} on {the} righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but {the} face of {the} Lord {is} against them that do evil.

13 And who shall injure you if ye have become imitators of that which {is} good?

14 E até sereis felizes, se padecerdes alguma coisa por causa da justiça!
15 Coḻgusaan guinibee Dad Jesucrist neṉ lastootu, gususiṉ te gudzu'tu diidx loj reni rniabdiidx lojtu xhicuent runlojtu guibi' Jesucrist. Guideb yäḻnadolajz saru gudzu'tu diidx.
15 Portanto, não temais as suas ameaças e não vos turbeis. Antes santificai em vossos corações Cristo, o Senhor. Estai sempre prontos a responder para vossa defesa a todo aquele que vos pedir a razão de vossa esperança, mas fazei-o com suavidade e respeito.

17 Aliás, é melhor padecer, se Deus assim o quiser, por fazer o bem do que por fazer o mal.
18 Sa'csi sigajcza tejtis gujt Jesucrist xcuent rextojḻnu. Xhetliidi xtojḻni guyu' nez loj Dios, niluxh gudejdni trabajwduxh xcuent rebeṉdojḻ. Bejnni si'c te gac guibignu lo Dios sa'csi gujt tiejxh Jesucrist, luxh guyusac sprit xtenni lo tiejxhni te gubaṉsacni.
18 Pois também Cristo morreu uma vez pelos nossos pecados - o Justo pelos injustos - para nos conduzir a Deus. Padeceu a morte em sua carne, mas foi vivificado quanto ao espírito.

20 quando Deus aguardava com paciência, enquanto se edificava a arca, na qual poucas pessoas, isto é, apenas oito se salvaram através da água.

21 Esta água prefigurava o batismo de agora, que vos salva também a vós, não pela purificação das impurezas do corpo, mas pela que consiste em pedir a Deus uma consciência boa, pela ressurreição de Jesus Cristo.
