2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Nde kàtöm asyääl ande mukàbel baar ntɔn un'kyɔm awà, wɛɛ ba bàkwen anki muyà.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Nde kàfàtɔm asyääl asin ntɔn mukàtɛn a baar bàbel naa: "Le, mɛ an'lɔn isa byanswà: mɛ an'dwa in'dim a ngɔɔmà anà ntsür a may amɛ, indiir byanswà byan'kwo. Làyi kà un'kyɔm atà bɔr!"
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Wɛɛ ba bàwɛl ya asànaa an'yääm a ngway, ba bàkyen isal aba: umwɛy u ywaŋ ande, wumwɛy u yà ande.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Bumwɛy bàkör asyääl, waa bamɛɛy an'kyeey, waa badwä.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Mfum kàwem nkyɛl, waa kàtöm aŋità ande mudwa adwää baar aban, waa bàwuul bul aba mbaa.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Apan, nde kàtɛn a asyääl ande naa: "Un'kyɔm atà bɔr kan'kwo, wɛɛ baar bàbel ndöŋ batɛy.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Abun, làkyen kà an'kuun a mbwo, làtwääl kà un'kyɔm atà bɔr baar banswà làkàman bɛ."
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Asyääl abà laa bàkyen ba u mbwo, bàköŋà ba baar banswà bàmɛn ba, baar abe anà abwɛŋ. Ndwà a un'kyɔm atà bɔr waa yàyöl a baar bàbel.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 Mfum kàbilà ntɔn muler baar bàbel, waa kàmɛn mbuur mwɛy mpa kàbwäär ipfɛy a un'kyɔm.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Nde waa kun'fuul: "Un'sam amɛ, ngye apà ayàbilà aben ukɔɔn ipfɛy a un'kyɔm?" Mbuur awà ndaa kàsi anki.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Apan, mfum waa kàtɛn a asyääl naa: "Lun'bäm in'siŋ kà in'kɔl anà kà an'kɔɔ, lun'piy u làpib a nsà. Kwo iyàkal ilel anà nkwoor a an'din."
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Abun, bàfàbel baar mbɔɔn, wɛɛ bàfàwal ikikye mpɛl. »
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Apan, Amfarisi bàkàköŋ ntɔn muleŋ naa ba ndaa bun'lwab aben u ntɛɛn ande ŋakwo.
15 — ausente —
16 Ungö apan, ba bun'tööm alɔŋki aba anà baar a Ɛlɔdi ntɔn mutɛn a nde naa: « Un'lɔɔŋ, bi ikyàyöb naa ngye loor afàtà anki: ngye afàlɔŋ mbwo a Nzam unsà ndandaa yanswà ukɔɔn alab an'kyän a mbuur asin, ntɔn ngye afàler anki imbuur a baar.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Abun, ikyään, ngye akasii aben: mbwo yàmwo lɛɛ yatɛy mufur itɛr akà Sɛzar? »
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Wɛɛ Yɛsu kàkyer ayöb an'kyän an'be aba, waa kafuur naa: « Baar a mpem yweel, ntɔn nkye lan'lwab bɛ ndaa?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Lan'swɛŋ ngim bàfàfur ayà itɛr. » Ba waa bun'mɛɛy itɛr a ngim mwɛy.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Waa Yɛsu kafuul naa: « Idiim anà ikɔb bi byà nà? »
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Ba bun'fuur naa: « Byà Sɛzar. » Apan nde kàtɛn a ba naa: « Abun, làpɛ indiir a Sɛzar akà Sɛzar, indiir a Nzam, akà Nzam. »
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Mpal bàwem ba mfuur ayi, ba bàkyer abem, laa bàsun'wɛy ba, waa bàkyen.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Ilä nsil akin, Asadusi bàsin tsütsü apà Yɛsu. Ba bà baar bàfàtɛn naa ngwiiyà kà ukwà yatɛy. Ba bun'fuul naa:
23 — ausente —
24 « Un'lɔɔŋ, Mɔsɛ kàtɛn naa: "Isàkal naa mbuur kan'kwà ukɔɔn baan, un'tɔŋ ande asàbääl un'kweel a un'dim, ntɔn nde uböör un'tɔŋ ande baan."
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Akà bi bàkäl anà atɔŋ nsambwaar. Wàtàtwɛb kàkäl wàŋàbääl. Nde kàkü ukɔɔn abɔr, waa kàsàwɛy un'kyay ande akà un'tɔŋ ande.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Ya yàkäl abà akà wàyweel, wàtär, tii akà wànsambwaar.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Ungö a ba banswà, un'kaar awun waa kàkü.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Mpal bàsàwiyà baar kukwà, uboo a ba bànsambwaar, un'kaar awà asàkal un'kyay anà? Ntɔn ba banswà bàkäl adim ande! »
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yɛsu kafuur naa: « Bɛ, bɛ làbaŋàdiimà mbwo, ntɔn bɛ làyöb anki itàkal Ndaa Aŋàsɔn, itàkal ngwal a Nzam.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Ntɔn, mpal bàsàwiyà baar, abaal anà akaar bàfàsàtà anki bɔr, wɛɛ ba bàsàkal asànaa akyeey u du.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Unsà ndaa iler ngwiiyà a baar kà ukwà, nkye bɛ làtäŋ anki ndaa kàtɛn Nzam a bɛ naa:
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 "Mɛ, mɛ in'wà Nzam a Abàlam, Nzam a Isak anà Nzam a Yakɔb?" Nde kà wà Nzam a akü anki, wɛɛ wà baar a mɔ̈ɔ̈. »
33 In'sɛŋ a baar bàwem an'lɔɔŋ ande, ma màkyer atwà.
34 Mpal bàwem Amfarisi naa Yɛsu an'dübà Asadusi mun, laa bàköŋ ba,
35 umwɛy uboo a ba, un'lɔɔŋ a un'kɔɔn, waa kun'fuul ntɔn mukun'lwab ndaa:
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 « Un'lɔɔŋ, nswɛɛŋ nà ayà kölàköl uboo a Un'kɔɔn? »
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
38 Ayi nswɛɛŋ a kölàköl anà yàtàtwɛb.
42 « An'kyän abɛ myà aben ntɔn Klistɔ? Nde wà mwan anà? » Ba bun'fuur naa: « Wà David. »
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Nde kàtɛn a ba naa: « Abun, aben David, u mbwo a Dweelà, kun'beelà nde Mwol mpal kàtɛn nde naa:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 "Mwol kàtɛn a mwol amɛ naa:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 « Isàkal abun naa David afun'bel "Mwol", aben nde kan'kwo mufàkal mwan a David? »
