1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying:
1 O Senhor falou a Moisés na Tenda do Encontro, no deserto do Sinai, no primeiro dia do segundo mês do segundo ano, depois que os israelitas saíram do Egito. Ele disse:
2 Take a head count of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of names, every male by head,
2 "Façam um recenseamento de toda a comunidade de Israel, pelos seus clãs e famílias, alistando todos os homens, um a um, pelo nome.
3 from twenty years old and above; all who are able to go to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
3 Você e Arão contarão todos os homens que possam servir no exército, de vinte anos para cima, organizados segundo as suas divisões.
4 And with you there shall be a man from every tribe, each one the head of his fathers house.
4 Um homem de cada tribo, o chefe dos grupos de famílias, deverá ajudá-los.
5 These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: from Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur;
5 Estes são os nomes dos homens que os ajudarão: de Rúben, Elizur, filho de Sedeur;
6 from Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;

7 from Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;

8 from Issachar, Nethanel the son of Zuar;

9 from Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon;
9 de Zebulom, Eliabe, filho de Helom;
10 from the sons of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; from Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;
10 dos filhos de José: de Efraim, Elisama, filho de Amiúde; de Manassés, Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur;
11 from Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;
11 de Benjamim, Abidã, filho de Gideoni;
12 from Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;
12 de Dã, Aieser, filho de Amisadai;
13 from Asher, Pagiel the son of Ocran;
13 de Aser, Pagiel, filho de Ocrã;
14 from Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel;

15 from Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.
15 de Naftali, Aira, filho de Enã".
16 These were chosen from the congregation, leaders of their fathers tribes, heads of thousands in Israel.
16 Foram esses os escolhidos dentre a comunidade, líderes das tribos dos seus antepassados, chefes dos clãs de Israel.
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who had been designated by name,
17 Moisés e Arão reuniram os homens nomeados
18 and they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their lineage by families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, each one by head.
18 e convocaram toda a comunidade no primeiro dia do segundo mês. Os homens de vinte anos para cima inscreveram-se conforme os seus clãs e as suas famílias, um a um, pelo nome,
19 As Jehovah commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
19 conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés. E assim ele os contou no deserto do Sinai, na seguinte ordem:
20 And the sons of Reuben, Israels firstborn, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, every male by head, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
20 Dos descendentes de Rúben, o filho mais velho de Israel: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os registros de seus clãs e famílias.
21 those who were numbered of the tribe of Reuben were forty-six thousand five hundred.
21 O número dos da tribo de Rúben foi 46. 500.
22 From the sons of Simeon, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, of those who were numbered, according to the number of names, every male by head, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
22 Dos descendentes de Simeão: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
23 those who were numbered of the tribe of Simeon were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.
23 O número dos da tribo de Simeão foi 59. 300.
24 From the sons of Gad, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
24 Dos descendentes de Gade: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
25 those who were numbered of the tribe of Gad were forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

26 From the sons of Judah, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
26 Dos descendentes de Judá: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
27 those who were numbered of the tribe of Judah were seventy-four thousand six hundred.
27 O número dos da tribo de Judá foi 74. 600.
28 From the sons of Issachar, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
28 Dos descendentes de Issacar: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
29 those who were numbered of the tribe of Issachar were fifty-four thousand four hundred.

30 From the sons of Zebulun, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
30 Dos descendentes de Zebulom: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
31 those who were numbered of the tribe of Zebulun were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

32 From the sons of Joseph, the sons of Ephraim, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
32 Dos filhos de José: Dos descendentes de Efraim: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
33 those who were numbered of the tribe of Ephraim were forty thousand five hundred.

34 From the sons of Manasseh, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
34 Dos descendentes de Manassés: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
35 those who were numbered of the tribe of Manasseh were thirty-two thousand two hundred.

36 From the sons of Benjamin, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
36 Dos descendentes de Benjamim: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
37 those who were numbered of the tribe of Benjamin were thirty-five thousand four hundred.

38 From the sons of Dan, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
38 Dos descendentes de Dã: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
39 those who were numbered of the tribe of Dan were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

40 From the sons of Asher, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
40 Dos descendentes de Aser: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
41 those who were numbered of the tribe of Asher were forty-one thousand five hundred.
41 O número dos da tribo de Aser foi 41. 500.
42 From the sons of Naphtali, their genealogies by their families, by their fathers house, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war:
42 Dos descendentes de Naftali: Todos os homens de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram relacionados, cada um pelo seu nome, de acordo com os seus registros de clãs e famílias.
43 those who were numbered of the tribe of Naphtali were fifty-three thousand four hundred.
43 O número dos da tribo de Naftali foi 53. 400.
44 These are the ones who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, with the leaders of Israel, twelve men, each one representing his fathers house.
44 Esses foram os homens contados por Moisés e por Arão e pelos doze líderes de Israel, cada um representando a sua família.
45 So all who were numbered of the sons of Israel, by their fathers houses, from twenty years old and above, all who were able to go to war in Israel;
45 Todos os israelitas de vinte anos para cima que podiam servir no exército foram contados de acordo com as suas famílias.
46 all who were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
46 O total foi 603. 550 homens.
47 But the Levites were not numbered among them by their fathers tribe;
47 As famílias da tribo de Levi, porém, não foram contadas juntamente com as outras,
48 for Jehovah had spoken to Moses, saying:
48 pois o Senhor tinha dito a Moisés:
49 Only the tribe of Levi you shall not number, nor take a head count of them among the sons of Israel;
49 "Não faça o recenseamento da tribo de Levi nem a relacione entre os demais israelitas.
50 but you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, over all its furnishings, and over all things that belong to it; they shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they shall serve for it and camp around the tabernacle.
50 Em vez disso, designe os levitas como responsáveis pelo tabernáculo que guarda as tábuas da aliança, por todos os seus utensílios e por tudo o que pertence a ele. Eles transportarão o tabernáculo e todos os seus utensílios; cuidarão dele e acamparão ao seu redor.
51 And when the tabernacle sets out, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
51 Sempre que o tabernáculo tiver que ser removido, os levitas o desmontarão e, sempre que tiver que ser armado, os levitas o farão. Qualquer pessoa não autorizada que se aproximar do tabernáculo terá que ser executada.
52 The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, everyone by his own camp, everyone by his own standard, according to their armies;
52 Os israelitas armarão as suas tendas organizadas segundo as suas divisões, cada um em seu próprio acampamento e junto à sua bandeira.
53 but the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel; and the Levites shall keep charge of the tabernacle of the Testimony.
53 Os levitas, porém, armarão as suas tendas ao redor do tabernáculo que guarda as tábuas da aliança, para que a ira divina não caia sobre a comunidade de Israel. Os levitas terão a responsabilidade de cuidar do tabernáculo que guarda as tábuas da aliança".
54 Thus the children of Israel did; according to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, thus they did.
