1 The `title of the oon and nyntithe salm. `The salm of `song, in the dai of sabath.
1 Aquele que habita no esconderijo do Altíssimo, à sombra do Onipotente descansará.
2 It is good to knouleche to the Lord; and to synge to thi name, thou hiyeste.
2 Direi do Senhor : Ele é o meu Deus, o meu refúgio, a minha fortaleza, e nele confiarei.
3 To schewe eerli thi merci; and thi treuthe bi nyyt.
3 Porque ele te livrará do laço do passarinheiro e da peste perniciosa.
4 In a sautrie of ten cordis; with song in harpe.
4 Ele te cobrirá com as suas penas, e debaixo das suas asas estarás seguro; a sua verdade é escudo e broquel.
5 For thou, Lord, hast delitid me in thi makyng; and Y schal make ful out ioye in the werkis of thin hondis.
5 Não temerás espanto noturno, nem seta que voe de dia,
6 Lord, thi werkis ben magnefied greetli; thi thouytis ben maad ful depe.
6 nem peste que ande na escuridão, nem mortandade que assole ao meio-dia.
7 An vnwise man schal not knowe; and a fool schal not vndirstonde these thingis.
7 Mil cairão ao teu lado, e dez mil, à tua direita, mas tu não serás atingido.
8 Whanne synneris comen forth, as hey; and alle thei apperen, that worchen wickidnesse.
8 Somente com os teus olhos olharás e verás a recompensa dos ímpios.
9 That thei perische in to the world of world; forsothe thou, Lord, art the hiyest, withouten ende. For lo!
9 Porque tu, ó Senhor , és o meu refúgio! O Altíssimo é a tua habitação.
10 Lord, thin enemyes, for lo! thin enemyes schulen perische; and alle schulen be scaterid that worchen wickidnesse.
10 Nenhum mal te sucederá, nem praga alguma chegará à tua tenda.
11 And myn horn schal be reisid as an vnicorn; and myn eelde in plenteuouse merci.
11 Porque aos seus anjos dará ordem a teu respeito, para te guardarem em todos os teus caminhos.
12 And myn iye dispiside myn enemyes; and whanne wickid men rysen ayens me, myn eere schal here.
12 Eles te sustentarão nas suas mãos, para que não tropeces com o teu pé em pedra.
13 A iust man schal floure as a palm tree; he schal be multiplied as a cedre of Liban.
13 Pisarás o leão e a áspide; calcarás aos pés o filho do leão e a serpente.
14 Men plauntid in the hous of the Lord; schulen floure in the porchis of the hous of oure God.
14 Pois que tão encarecidamente me amou, também eu o livrarei; pô-lo-ei num alto retiro, porque conheceu o meu nome.
15 Yit thei schulen be multiplied in plenteuouse elde; and thei schulen be suffryng wel. That thei telle, that oure Lord God is riytful; and no wickidnesse is in hym.
15 Ele me invocará, e eu lhe responderei; estarei com ele na angústia; livrá-lo-ei e o glorificarei.

16 Dar-lhe-ei abundância de dias e lhe mostrarei a minha salvação.
