1 Ao Músico-chefe de Neilote, Salmo de Davi. Dá ouvidos às minhas palavras, ó SENHOR, considera a minha meditação.
2 \5:1\To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
2 Escuta a voz do meu clamor, meu Rei e meu Deus, porque a ti orarei.
3 \5:2\Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for to thee will I pray.
3 Minha voz tu ouvirás de manhã, ó SENHOR; pela manhã direcionarei minha oração a ti, e olharei para cima.
4 \5:3\My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer to thee, and will look up.
4 Porque tu não és um Deus que tenha prazer na perversidade, nem o mal habitará contigo.
5 \5:4\For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
5 Os tolos não ficarão à tua vista; tu odeias a todos os trabalhadores da iniquidade.
6 \5:5\The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
6 Destruirás aqueles que falam mentira; o SENHOR abominará o homem sanguinário e enganador.
7 \5:6\Thou shalt destroy them that speak falsehood: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
7 Mas, quanto a mim, entrarei na tua casa na multidão da tua misericórdia; e em teu temor eu adorarei em direção ao teu santo templo.
8 \5:7\But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship towards thy holy temple.
8 Conduz-me, ó SENHOR, na tua justiça por causa de meus inimigos; faz o teu caminho reto diante da minha face.
9 \5:8\Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness, because of my enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
9 Porque não há fidelidade na boca deles; sua parte interior é muita perversidade; sua garganta é um sepulcro aberto; eles lisonjeiam com a sua língua.
10 \5:9\For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter with their tongue.
10 Destrói-os, ó Deus; que eles caiam por seus próprios conselhos; lança-os fora na multidão de suas transgressões, porque eles se rebelaram contra ti.
11 \5:10\Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
11 Mas que todos aqueles que põem sua confiança em ti se regozijem; que eles sempre gritem de alegria porque tu os defendes; e que também aqueles que amam o teu nome se alegrem em ti.
12 \5:11\But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 Porque tu, SENHOR, abençoarás ao justo; com favor tu circundá-lo-ás como com um escudo.
13 \5:12\For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
