Zacarias 11
Updated Bible Version (UPDV) vs NAA
1 Open your doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars.
1 Abra as suas portas, ó Líbano, para que o fogo consuma os seus cedros.
2 Wail, O fir-tree, for the cedar has fallen, because the goodly ones are destroyed: wail, O you{+} oaks of Bashan, for the strong forest has come down.
2 Chorem, ciprestes, porque os cedros caíram, porque as mais excelentes árvores foram destruídas. Chorem, carvalhos de Basã, porque a densa floresta foi derrubada.
3 A voice of the wailing of the shepherds! For their glory is destroyed: a voice of the roaring of young lions! For the pride of the Jordan is laid waste.
3 Eis a voz de choro dos pastores, porque a sua glória foi destruída! Eis o rugido dos leõezinhos, porque o orgulho do Jordão foi destruído!
4 Thus Yahweh my God said: Shepherd the flock of slaughter;
4 — Assim diz o Senhor , meu Deus: Apascente as ovelhas destinadas para o matadouro.
5 whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty; and those who sell them say, Blessed be Yahweh, for I am rich; and their own shepherds don't pity them.
5 Aqueles que as compram matam-nas e não são punidos; os que as vendem dizem: “Louvado seja o Senhor ! Ficamos ricos!” E os pastores das ovelhas não se compadecem delas.
6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, says Yahweh; but, look, I will deliver man, every man into his fellow man's hand, and into the hand of his king; and they will strike the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
6 Certamente não terei mais compaixão dos moradores desta terra, diz o Senhor . Eis que eu entregarei cada um nas mãos do seu próximo e nas mãos do seu rei. Eles destruirão o país, e eu não os livrarei das mãos deles.
7 So I shepherded the flock of slaughter, and the sheep-dealers. And I took to me two poles; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I shepherded the flock.
7 Apascentei as ovelhas destinadas para o matadouro pelos negociantes das ovelhas. Peguei dois cajados: a um chamei “Graça”, e a outro, “União”. E apascentei as ovelhas.
8 And I cut off the three shepherds in one month; for my soul was weary of them, and their soul also loathed me.
8 Em um mês destruí três pastores. Perdi a paciência com eles, e também eles se cansaram de mim.
9 Then I said, I will not shepherd you{+}: that which dies, let it die; and that which is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let those that are left eat every one the flesh of another.
9 Então eu disse: — Não serei mais o pastor de vocês. Quem tiver de morrer, que morra! Quem tiver de ser destruído, que seja! E os que restarem, que cada um coma a carne do seu próximo.
10 And I took my staff Beauty, and cut it apart, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.
10 Peguei o cajado chamado Graça e o quebrei, para anular a minha aliança, que eu havia feito com todos os povos.
11 And it was broken in that day; and the sheep-dealers that gave heed to me knew that it was the word of Yahweh.
11 Portanto, a aliança foi anulada naquele dia. E os negociantes de ovelhas, que estavam me observando, reconheceram que isto era palavra do Senhor .
12 And I said to them, If you{+} think good, give me my wages; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my wages thirty [pieces] of silver.
12 Eu lhes disse: — Se estiverem de acordo, paguem o meu salário; se não, deixem por isso mesmo. Então pesaram o meu salário: trinta moedas de prata.
13 And Yahweh said to me, Cast it to the potter, the goodly price that I was prized at by them. And I took the thirty [pieces] of silver, and cast them to the potter, in the house of Yahweh.
13 Então o Senhor me disse: — Pegue esse dinheiro, esse magnífico preço em que fui avaliado por eles, e jogue para o oleiro. Peguei as trinta moedas de prata e as joguei para o oleiro, na Casa do
14 Then I cut apart my other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
14 Depois, quebrei o segundo cajado, chamado União, para romper a irmandade entre Judá e Israel.
15 And Yahweh said to me, Take to yourself yet again the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
15 O Senhor me disse: — Agora pegue os apetrechos de um pastor insensato.
16 For, look, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not visit those that are cut off, neither will seek that which remains behind, nor heal that which is broken, nor feed that which is sound; but he will eat the flesh of the fat [sheep], and will tear their hoofs in pieces.
16 Porque eis que eu levantarei na terra um pastor que não cuidará das ovelhas que estão perecendo, não buscará a desgarrada, não curará a que foi ferida, nem apascentará a sã, mas comerá a carne das ovelhas gordas e arrancará até os cascos delas.
17 Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaves the flock! The sword will be on his arm, and on his right eye: his arm will be clean dried up, and his right eye will be completely darkened.
17 Ai do pastor inútil, que abandona o rebanho! A espada cairá sobre o seu braço e sobre o seu olho direito; o braço ficará completamente seco, e o olho direito totalmente cego.
