1 [A Psalm] of David. Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.
1 Como é feliz aquele cuja desobediência é perdoada, cujo pecado é coberto!
2 Blessed is [the] man to whom Yahweh does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.
2 Sim, como é feliz aquele cuja culpa cuja consciência é sempre sincera!
3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away Through my groaning all the day long.
3 Enquanto me recusei a confessar meu pecado, meu corpo definhou, e eu gemia o dia inteiro.
4 For day and night your hand was heavy on me: My moisture was changed in the drought of summer. Selah.
4 Dia e noite, tua mão pesava sobre mim; minha força evaporou como água no calor do verão. Interlúdio
5 I acknowledged my sin to you, And my iniquity I did not hide: I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh; And you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
5 Finalmente, confessei a ti todos os meus pecados e não escondi mais a minha culpa. Disse comigo: “Confessarei ao S e tu perdoaste toda a minha culpa. Interlúdio
6 For this let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they will not reach to him.
6 Portanto, todos que forem fiéis orem a ti enquanto há tempo, para que não se afoguem quando vier a inundação.
7 You are my hiding-place; you will preserve me from trouble; You will circle me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
7 Pois és meu esconderijo; tu me guardas da aflição e me cercas de cânticos de vitória. Interlúdio
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you will go: I will counsel you with my eye on you.
8 O S enhor diz: “Eu o guiarei pelo melhor caminho para sua vida, lhe darei conselhos e cuidarei de você.
9 Don't be{+} as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding; Whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, [Else] they will not come near to you.
9 Não sejam como o cavalo ou a mula, que não têm entendimento e precisam de freios e rédeas para ser controlados”.
10 Many sorrows will be to the wicked; But he who trusts in Yahweh, loving-kindness will circle him about.
10 O perverso tem muitas tristezas, mas o que confia no S
11 Be glad in Yahweh, and rejoice, you{+} righteous; And shout for joy, all you{+} who are upright in heart.
11 Portanto, alegrem-se no S enhor e exultem, todos vocês que são justos! Gritem de alegria, todos vocês que têm coração íntegro!
