1 And the Lorde spake vnto Moses and Aaron sayenge:
1 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés e a Arão, dizendo-lhes:
2 speake vnto the childre of Israel and saye, these are the beestes whiche ye shall eate amonge all the beestes that are on the erth:
2 Falai aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: estes são os animais que comereis entre todos os animais que estão sobre a terra:
3 what soeuer hath hoffe and dyuydeth it in to two clawes ad cheweth cud among the beestes, that shall ye eate.
3 Tudo o que tem unhas fendidas, e cuja fenda das unhas se divide em duas, e rumina, entre os animais, aquilo comereis.
4 Neuerthelesse, these shall ye not eate of them that chewe cud and haue hoffes. The camel, for he cheweth cud but he deuydeth not the hoffe in to two clawes therfore he shall be vnclene vnto you.
4 Todavia, não comereis dos que ruminam, ou dos que têm unhas fendidas: como o camelo, porque rumina, mas não tem unhas fendidas; este vos será impuro;
5 And the Conye, for he cheweth the cud but deuydeth not the hoffe in to two clawes, therfore he is vnclene to you.
5 e o coelho, porque rumina, mas não tem as unhas fendidas; este vos será impuro;
6 And the hare, for he likewise cheweth the cud, but deuydeth not the hoffe in to two clawes, he is therfore vnclene to you.
6 e a lebre, porque rumina, mas não tem as unhas fendidas; esta vos será impura.
7 And the swyne, for though he deuyde the hoffe in to two clawes, yet he cheweth not the cud ad therfore is vnclene to you,
7 E o suíno, embora tenha unhas fendidas, e a fenda das unhas se divida em duas, ele não rumina; este vos será impuro;
8 Of their flesh see that ye eate not ad their carkasses se that ye twych not for they are vnclene to you.
8 da sua carne não comereis, nem tocareis a sua carcaça; estes vos serão impuros.
9 These shall ye eate of all that are in the waters: what soeuer hath finnes and skales in the waters, sees and ryuers, that shall ye eate.
9 Isto comereis de tudo o que está nas águas: tudo o que tem barbatanas e escamas nas águas, nos mares e nos rios; aquilo comereis.
10 And all that haue not finnes ad skales in the sees ad ryuers of all that moue and lyue in the waters shall ye abhorre.
10 E tudo o que não tem barbatanas nem escamas, nos mares e nos rios, tudo o que se move nas águas, e qualquer vida que está nas águas, estes serão abominação para vós.
11 Se that ye eate not of their flesh, ad also that ye abhorre their carkases:
11 Eles serão uma abominação para vós; não comereis da sua carne, porém tereis suas carcaças como abominação.
12 for all that haue no finnes nor scales in the waters, shalbe abhominacion vnto you.
12 Tudo o que não tem barbatanas ou escamas nas águas será uma abominação para vós.
13 These are the foules which ye shall abhorre and which shall not be eaten, for they are an abhominacion. The egle, the gooshauke, the cormoraunte, the kyte,
13 E estas são as que abominareis entre as aves; não serão consumidas; são uma abominação: a águia, e o quebrantosso, e o xofrango,
14 the vultur and all his kynd
14 e o falcão, e o papagaio segundo a sua espécie;
15 and all kynde of rauens,
15 todo corvo segundo a sua espécie,
16 the estrich, the nightcrowe, the cocow, the sparowhauke and al the kynde:
16 e a coruja, e o falcão da noite, e o cuco, e o gavião segundo a sua espécie,
17 the litle oule, the storcke, the great oule
17 e a pequena coruja, e o corvo-marinho, e a grande coruja,
18 the backe, the pellicane, the pye,
18 e o cisne, e o pelicano, e o alcatraz,
19 the heron, the Iaye with the kynde, the lappwynge ad the swalowe.
19 e a cegonha, e a garça segundo a sua espécie, e a poupa, e o morcego.
20 And all foules that crepe ad goo apo all iiij. shalbe an abhominacion vnto you.
20 Todo o inseto que voa, que anda de quatro, será uma abominação para vós.
21 Yet these maye ye eate of all the foules that moue and goo apon .iiij. fete: euen those that haue no knees aboue vppon their fete to lepe with all apon the erthe,
21 Contudo estes podereis comer de todo inseto que rasteja e voa, que anda de quatro: o que tiver pernas sobre os seus pés, para saltar com elas sobre a terra;
22 euen these of them ye maye eate: the arbe and all his kynde: the Soleam with all his kynde: the Hargol and all the kynde, ad the Hagab ad all his kynd.
22 esses podereis comer: a locusta segundo a sua espécie, e a locusta lisa segundo a sua espécie, e o besouro segundo a sua espécie, e o gafanhoto segundo a sua espécie.
23 Al other foules that moue ad haue .iiij. fete, shalbe abhominacion vnto you.
23 Porém todas as outras coisas rastejantes e voadoras, que tem quatro pés serão uma abominação para vós.
24 In soch ye shalbe vnclene whosoeuer touch the carkesse of the shalbe vnclene vnto the euen,
24 E por estes sereis impuros; qualquer que tocar a sua carcaça será impuro até a tarde.
25 ad whosoeuer bereth the carkesse of the, shal wash his clothes ad shalbe vnclene vntyll euen.
25 E qualquer que levar as suas carcaças lavará as suas vestes, e será impuro até a tarde.
26 Amonge all maner beestes, they that haue hoffes and deuyde them not in to two clawes or that chewe not the cud, shalbe vnclene vnto you: and all that twicheth them shalbe vnclene.
26 As carcaças de todo animal que tem unhas fendidas, mas a fenda não se divide em duas e que não rumina vos será por impuro; todo aquele que tocar neles será impuro.
27 And all that goeth apon his handes amonge all maner beestes that goo on all foure, are vnclene vnto you: and as many as twych their carkesses, shalbe vnclene vntyll the euen.
27 E tudo o que anda sobre as suas patas, entre todos os tipos de animais que andam de quatro, estes vos são impuros; qualquer que tocar sua carcaça será impuro até a tarde.
28 And he that beareth the carkesse of them, shall wasshe his clothes ad be vnclene vntyll the euen for soch are vnclene vnto you.
28 E o que levar a sua carcaça lavará as suas vestes, e será impuro até a tarde; eles vos serão por impuros.
29 And these are also unclene to you amonge the thinges that crepe apon the erth: the wesell the mouse, the tode and all his kynde,
29 Estes também vos serão por impuros entre as coisas rastejantes que se arrastam sobre a terra: a doninha, e o rato, e a tartaruga segundo a sua espécie,
30 the hedgehogge, stellio, the licerte, the snayle and the moule.
30 e o ouriço, e o camaleão, e a lagartixa, e o caracol, e a toupeira.
31 These are vnclene to you amonge all that moue, and all that twych them when they be dead, shalbe vnclene vntyll the euen.
31 Estes são impuros para vós entre tudo o que rasteja; qualquer que os tocar, estando eles mortos, será impuro até a tarde.
32 And what soeuer any of the dead carkesses of them fall apon, shalbe vnclene: what soeuer vessell of wodd it be, or rayment, or skynne, or bagge or what soeuer thinge it be that any worke is wroughte with all. And they shalbe plunged in the water and be vnclene vntill the eue, and then they shalbe clene agayne.
32 Também será impuro tudo aquilo que cair sobre um destes, estando morto, seja algum vaso de madeira, ou veste, ou pele, ou saco, ou qualquer instrumento com que se faz algum trabalho, será colocado na água e será impuro até a tarde; depois, será purificado.
33 All maner of erthen vessell where in to any of them falleth, is vnclene with all that therein is: and ye shall breake it.
33 E todo vaso de barro em que algum deles cair, tudo o que estiver nele será impuro; e o quebrareis.
34 All maner meate that is eaten, yf any soch water come apon it, it shall be vnclene. And all maner drynke that is droke in all maner soch vessels, shalbe vnclene.
34 De todo alimento que pode ser comido, sobre o qual vier tal água será impuro; e toda bebida que se beber em tal vaso, será impura.
35 And whether it be ouen or kettel, it shalbe broken. For they are vnclene and shalbe vnclene vnto you:
35 E tudo aquilo sobre o que cair alguma parte da sua carcaça será impuro; seja o forno ou fornos para panelas, estes deverão ser quebrados porque são impuros, e serão impuros para vós.
36 Neuerthelater, yet the fountaynes ad welles and pondes of water, shalbe clene styll. But whosoeuer twycheth their carkesses, shall be vnclene.
36 Porém a fonte ou cisterna, onde há muita água, será limpa; mas quem tocar na sua carcaça será impuro.
37 Yf the dead carkesse of any soch fall apo any seed vsed to sowe, yt shall yet be clene styll:
37 E se alguma parte da sua carcaça cair sobre alguma semente de semear, esta será limpa;
38 but ad yf any water be poured apo the seed ad afterward the dead carkesse of them fall thereo, then it shalbe vnclene vnto you.
38 mas se alguma água for colocada sobre a semente, e alguma parte da sua carcaça cair sobre ela, vos será por impura.
39 Yf any beest of whiche ye eate dye, he that twitcheth the dead carkesse shalbe vnclene vntyll the euen.
39 E se morrer algum animal, do qual vós podeis comer, aquele que tocar na sua carcaça será impuro até a tarde;
40 And he that eateth of any soche dead carkesse, shall wasshe his clothes and remayne vnclene vntyll the euen. And he also that beareth the carkesse of it, shall wasshe his clothes and be vnclene vntyll euen.
40 e aquele que comer da sua carcaça lavará as suas vestes, e será impuro até a tarde; e também quem levar a sua carcaça lavará as suas vestes, e será impuro até a tarde.
41 All that scrauleth apon the erth, is an abhominacyon and shall not be eaten.
41 E cada coisa rastejante que se arrasta sobre a terra será uma abominação; isto não se comerá.
42 And what soeuer goeth apon the brest ad what soeuer goeth apon .iiij. or moo fete amonge all that scrauleth apon the erth, of that se ye eate not: for they are abhomynable.
42 Tudo o que anda sobre a barriga, e tudo o que anda de quatro, ou tudo que tem mais pés entre todas as coisas rastejantes que se arrastam sobre a terra, não comereis, porque são uma abominação.
43 Make not youre soules abhominable. Make not youre soules abhomynable with nothinge that crepeth, nether make youre soules vnclene with them: that ye shulde be defiled thereby.
43 Não vos façais abomináveis por nenhuma coisa rastejante que se arrasta, nem vos contamineis com eles, para não serdes contaminados por eles.
44 For I am the Lorde youre God, be sanctified therfore that ye maye be holy, for I am holy: and defile not youre soules with any maner thinge that crepeth apon the erth.
44 Porque eu sou o SENHOR, vosso Deus; portanto, vós vos santificareis e sereis santos, porque eu sou santo; e não contaminareis a vós mesmos com nenhum tipo de coisa rastejante que se arrasta sobre a terra.
45 For I am the Lorde that brought you out of the londe off Egipte to be youre God: be holy therfore, for I am holy.
45 Porque eu sou o SENHOR, que vos fiz sair da terra do Egito, para ser vosso Deus; portanto, vós sereis santos, porque eu sou santo.
46 This is the lawe of beest and foule and off all maner thinge that lyueth ad moueth in the water ad of all thinges that crepe apo the erth
46 Esta é a lei dos animais, e das aves, e de toda criatura vivente que se move nas águas, e de toda criatura que se arrasta sobre a terra,
47 that ye may put differece betwene vnclene ad clene, ad betwene the beestes that are eate and the beestes that are not eaten.
47 para fazer uma diferença entre o impuro e o limpo, e entre os animais que podem ser comidos e os animais que não podem ser comidos.
