1 And the Lorde spake vnto Moses and Aaron in the londe of Egipte saynge:
1 Então o S enhor disse a Moisés e a Arão no Egito:
2 This moneth shall be youre chefe moneth: eue the first moneth of the yere shal it be vnto you
2 “De agora em diante, este mês será para vocês o primeiro do ano.
3 Speake ye unto all the felowshipe of Israel saynge: that they take the .x. daye of this moneth to euery housholde, a shepe.
3 Anunciem a toda a comunidade de Israel que, no décimo dia deste mês, cada família escolherá um cordeiro ou um cabrito para fazer um sacrifício, um animal para cada casa.
4 Yf the housholde be to few for a shepe, then lett him and his neghbour that is nexte vnto his house, take acordinge to the nombre of soulles, and counte vnto a shepe acordinge to euery mans eatinge.
4 A família que for pequena demais para comer um animal inteiro deverá compartilhá-lo com outra família da vizinhança. O animal será dividido de acordo com o número de pessoas e a quantidade que cada um puder comer.
5 A shepe with out spott and a male of one yere olde shall it be, and from amonge the lambes ad the gootes shall ye take it.
5 O animal escolhido deverá ser um cordeiro ou um cabrito de um ano, sem defeito algum.
6 And ye shall kepe him in warde, vntyll the xiiij. daye of the same moneth. And euery ma of the multitude of Israel shall kyll him aboute eue.
6 “Guardem bem o animal escolhido até a tarde do décimo quarto dia do primeiro mês. Nesse dia, toda a comunidade de Israel sacrificará seu cordeiro ou cabrito ao anoitecer.
7 And they shall take of the bloud ad strike it on the .ij. syde postes ad on the vpper dor post of the houses, wheri they eate hi.
7 Em seguida, tomarão um pouco do sangue e o passarão nos batentes laterais e no alto das portas das casas onde comerem o animal.
8 And thei shall eate the flesh the same nyght, rost with fyre, ad with vnleueded bread, ad with sowre herbes they shall eate it.
8 Nessa mesma noite, assarão a carne no fogo e a comerão acompanhada de folhas verdes amargas e de pão sem fermento.
9 Se that ye eate not therof sode in water, but rost with fyre: both head fete ad purtenance together.
9 Não comerão a carne crua nem cozida. O animal todo, incluindo a cabeça, as pernas e as vísceras, deverá ser assado no fogo.
10 And se that ye let nothinge of it remayne vnto the mornynge: yf oughte remayne burne it with fyre.
10 Não deixem sobras para a manhã seguinte. Queimem o que não for consumido antes do amanhecer.
11 Off this maner shall ye eate it: with youre loines girded, ad shoes on youre fete, ad youre staves in youre handes. And ye shall eate it in haste, for it is the Lordes passeouer,
11 “Estas são as instruções para quando fizerem a refeição. Estejam vestidos para a viagem, de sandálias nos pés e cajado na mão. Façam a refeição apressadamente, pois é a Páscoa do S enhor .
12 for I will go aboute i the lade of Egipte this same nyghte, ad will smyte all the firstborne in the lande off Egipte: both of ma ad beest, ad apo al the goddes off Egipte will I the Lorde do execution.
12 Nessa noite, passarei pela terra do Egito e matarei todos os filhos mais velhos e todos os primeiros machos dentre os animais na terra do Egito. Executarei juízo sobre todos os deuses do Egito, pois eu sou o S enhor .
13 And the bloude shall be vnto you a toke vppon the houses where in ye are, for whe I se the bloude, I will passe ouer you, ad the plage shall not be vppo you to destroye you, when I smyte the londe off Egipte.
13 Mas o sangue nos batentes das portas servirá de sinal e marcará as casas onde vocês estão. Quando eu vir o sangue, passarei por sobre aquela casa. E, quando eu ferir a terra do Egito, a praga de morte não os tocará.
14 And this daye shall be vnto you a remebraunce, ad ye shall kepe it holie vnto the Lorde: euen thorow out youre generacions after you shall ye kepe it holie daye, that it be a custome for euer.
14 “Este será um dia a ser recordado. Todo ano, de geração em geração, vocês o celebrarão como festa especial para o S enhor . Essa é uma lei permanente.
15 vij. dayes shal ye eate vnleveded breed, so that euen the first daye ye shall put awaye leuen out off youre housses. For whosoeuer eateth leuended bread from the first daye vntyll the .vij. daye, that soule shall be plucked out fro Israel.
15 Durante sete dias, comerão pão sem fermento. No primeiro dia da festa, removerão das casas qualquer mínima quantidade de fermento. Quem comer pão com fermento durante algum dos sete dias da festa será eliminado do meio de Israel.
16 The first daye shall be a holie feast vnto you, and the .vij. also. There shal be no maner off worke done in the, saue aboute that only which euery man must eate that only may ye do.
16 No primeiro e no sétimo dia da festa, todo o povo celebrará um dia oficial de reunião sagrada. Não será permitido nenhum tipo de trabalho nessas datas, exceto o preparo da comida.
17 And see that ye kepe you to vnleueded breed.For vppo that same daye I will brynge youre armyes out off the londe of Egipte, therfore ye shall obserue this daye and all youre childern after you, that yt be a custume for euer.
17 “Celebrem a Festa dos Pães sem Fermento, pois ela os lembrará de que eu tirei suas multidões da terra do Egito exatamente nesse dia. A festa será uma lei permanente para vocês; celebrem-na nesse dia de geração em geração.
18 The first moneth and the .xiiij. daye off the moneth at euen, ye shall eate swete brede vnto the .xxj. daye off the moneth at euen agayne.
18 O pão que comerem será preparado sem fermento desde a tarde do décimo quarto dia do primeiro mês até a tarde do vigésimo primeiro dia do mesmo mês.
19 Seuen dayes se that there be no leuended bred foude in youre housses. For whosoeuer eateth leuended bred, that soule shall be roted out fro the multitude of Israel: whether he be a straunger or borne in the londe.
19 Durante os sete dias, não deverá haver qualquer mínima quantidade de fermento em suas casas. Quem comer algo preparado com fermento durante a semana será eliminado do meio de Israel. Essas regras se aplicam tanto aos estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês como aos israelitas de nascimento.
20 Therfore se that ye eate no leuended bred, but in all youre habitacions eate swete bred.
20 Durante esses dias, não comam coisa alguma preparada com fermento. Onde quer que morarem, comam apenas pão sem fermento”.
21 And Moses called for the elders off Israel and sayde vnto them: chouse out and take to euery housholde a shepe, ad kyll passeouer.
21 Em seguida, Moisés mandou chamar todos os líderes de Israel e lhes disse: “Vão, escolham um cordeiro ou um cabrito para cada família e sacrifiquem o animal para a Páscoa.
22 And take a bunch of ysope, ad dyppe it in the bloud that is in the basyn, and stryke it vppon the vpperposte and on the .ij. syde postes, and se that none of you goo out at the doore of his house vntyll the mornynge.
22 Deixem o sangue escorrer para uma vasilha. Tomem um feixe de ramos de hissopo e molhem-no com o sangue. Usando o hissopo, passem o sangue nos batentes laterais e no alto da porta das casas. Ninguém saia de casa até o amanhecer,
23 For the Lorde will goo aboute and smyte Egipte. And when he seyth the bloude vppon the vpper doorposte ad on the .ij. syde postes, he will passe ouer the doore and will not suffre the destroyer to come in to youre housse to plage you.
23 pois o S enhor passará pela terra para ferir mortalmente os egípcios. Mas, quando ele vir o sangue nas laterais e no alto da porta, passará por sobre aquela casa. Não permitirá que o anjo da morte entre em suas casas para matar vocês.
24 Therfore se that thou obserue this thinge, that it be an ordinaunce to the, and thy sonnes for euer.
24 “Lembrem-se de que estas instruções são uma lei que vocês e seus descendentes deverão cumprir para sempre.
25 And when ye be come in to the land which the Lorde will geue you acordinge as he hath promysed, se that ye kepe this seruice.
25 Quando entrarem na terra que o S enhor prometeu lhes dar, continuarão a realizar essa cerimônia.
26 And when youre childern axe you what maner off seruice is this ye doo.
26 Então seus filhos perguntarão: ‘O que significa esta cerimônia?’,
27 Ye shall saye, it is the sacrifiice of the Lordes passeouer which passed ouer the housses of the childern of Israel in Egipte, as he smote the Egiptians and saued oure housses. Than the people bowed them selues and worshipped.
27 e vocês responderão: ‘É o sacrifício da Páscoa para o S enhor , pois ele passou por sobre as casas dos israelitas no Egito. E, embora tenha abatido os egípcios, poupou nossas famílias’”. Então todos que ali estavam se prostraram e adoraram.
28 And the childern of Israel went and dyd as the Lorde had commauded Moses and Aaron.
28 Assim, o povo de Israel fez conforme o S enhor havia ordenado por meio de Moisés e Arão.
29 And at mydnyghte the Lorde smote all the firstborne in the lode of Egipte: from the firstborne of Pharao that satt on his seat, vnto the firstborne of the captyue that was in presone, and all firstborne of the catell.
29 À meia-noite, o S enhor feriu mortalmente todos os filhos mais velhos da terra do Egito, desde o filho mais velho do faraó, sentado em seu trono, até o filho mais velho do prisioneiro no calabouço. Até mesmo os primeiros machos dentre os animais foram mortos.
30 Than Pharao arose the same nyghte and al his servauntes ad all the Egiptians, and there was a great crieng thorowe out Egipte, for there was no housse where there was not one dead.
30 O faraó, todos os seus oficiais e todo o povo egípcio acordaram durante a noite, e ouviu-se um grande lamento em toda a terra do Egito. Não houve uma só casa onde não morresse alguém.
31 And he called vnto Moses and Aaron by nyghte saynge: Ryse vp and gett you out from amonge my people: both ye and also the children of Israel, and goo and serue the Lorde as ye haue sayde.
31 No meio da noite, o faraó mandou chamar Moisés e Arão. “Saiam daqui!”, ordenou ele. “Deixem meu povo e levem os demais israelitas com vocês. Vão e adorem o S enhor , como pediram.
32 And take youre shepe and your oxen with you as ye haue sayde, ad departe ad blesse me also.
32 Levem seus rebanhos, como disseram, e sumam daqui! Vão embora, mas abençoem-me ao sair.”
33 And the Egiptians were ferce vppon the people and made haste to send the out of the lad: for they sayde: we be al deed me
33 Os egípcios pressionavam o povo de Israel para que deixasse a terra quanto antes, pois pensavam: “Vamos todos morrer!”.
34 And the people toke the dowe before it was sowered which they had in stoare, and bounde it in clothes ad put it vpo their shulders
34 Os israelitas levaram a massa de pão sem fermento, embrulharam as vasilhas em seus mantos e as colocaram sobre os ombros.
35 And the childern of Israel dyd acordinge to the saynge of Moses: ad they borowed of the Egiptians: iewels of syluer, and iewels of gold, and rayment.
35 Seguindo as instruções de Moisés, pediram aos egípcios que lhes dessem roupas e objetos de prata e ouro.
36 And the Lorde gat the people fauoure in the syghte of the Egiptians: ad so they borowed and robbed the Egiptians.
36 O S enhor fez os egípcios serem bondosos com o povo, de modo que lhes entregaram tudo que pediram. Assim, os israelitas tomaram para si as riquezas dos egípcios.
37 Thus toke the childern of Israel their yourney fro Raemses to suchoth .vj. hundred thousand me of foote, besyde childern.
37 Naquela mesma noite, os israelitas partiram de Ramessés rumo a Sucote. Havia cerca de seiscentos mil homens, além das mulheres e crianças.
38 And moch comon people went also with the, ad shepe ad oxen ad catell exceadinge moch.
38 Saiu com eles uma mistura de gente que não era israelita, além de imensos rebanhos de ovelhas, bois e outros animais.
39 And they baked swete cakes of the dowe which thy broughte out of Egipte, for it was not sowered: because they were thrust out of Egipte and coude not tarie, nether had they prepared them any other prouision of meate.
39 Com a massa sem fermento que haviam levado do Egito, assaram pães achatados. A massa era sem fermento, pois foram expulsos do Egito com tanta pressa que não tiveram tempo de preparar alimento para a viagem.
40 And the tyme of the dwellinge of the childern of Israel which they dwelled in Egipte, was .iiij. hundred and .xxx. yere.
40 O povo de Israel tinha vivido 430 anos no Egito.
41 And whe the iiij. hundred and .xxx. yeres mere expyred, eue the selfe same daye departed all the hostes of the Lorde out of the lande of Egipte.
41 Na verdade, essa grande multidão do S enhor deixou a terra exatamente no dia em que se completaram os 430 anos.
42 This is a nyghte to be obserued to the Lorde, because he broughte them out of the lande of Egipte. This is a nyghte of the Lorde, to be kepte of all the childern of Israel and of their generacions after them.
42 O S enhor passou a noite toda em vigília para tirar seu povo do Egito. Essa, portanto, é a noite do S enhor e deverá ser celebrada por todos os israelitas, de geração em geração.
43 And the Lorde sayde vnto Moses ad Aaron, this is the maner of Passeover: there shall no straunger eate there of,
43 Então o S enhor disse a Moisés e a Arão: “Estas são as instruções para a festa da Páscoa. Nenhum estrangeiro poderá comer a ceia de Páscoa.
44 but all the seruauntes that are bought for money shall ye circumcise, and then let them eat there of.
44 O escravo comprado poderá participar se for circuncidado.
45 A strauger and a hyerd seruaunte shall not eate thereof.
45 Os residentes temporários e os empregados não poderão participar.
46 In one housse shall it be eate. Ye shall carie none of the flesh out at the doores: moreouer, se that ye breke not a bone there of.
46 Cada cordeiro de Páscoa será comido em uma só casa. Nenhum pedaço de carne será levado para fora, e nenhum osso do cordeiro será quebrado.
47 All the multitude of the childern of Israel shall obserue it
47 Toda a comunidade de Israel celebrará a festa da Páscoa.
48 Yf a straunger dwell amonge you ad wyll holde Passeover vnto the Lorde, let him circucise all that be males, ad the let him come and obserue it ad be take as one that is borne i the lode. No vncircucised persone shall eate there of.
48 “Se os estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês quiserem celebrar a Páscoa do S enhor , todos os homens dentre eles devem ser circuncidados. Só então poderão celebrar a Páscoa com vocês, como qualquer israelita de nascimento. Os homens que não forem circuncidados, porém, jamais poderão participar da ceia de Páscoa.
49 One maner of lawe shalbe vnto the that are borne in the lode, ad vnto the straugers that dwell amoge you.
49 Essa instrução se aplica a todos, tanto aos israelitas de nascimento como aos estrangeiros que vivem entre vocês”.
50 And all the childern of Israel dyd as the Lorde comauded Moses ad Aaro.
50 Todo o povo de Israel seguiu as ordens que o S enhor deu a Moisés e a Arão.
51 And eue the selfe same daye dyd the Lorde brynge the childern of Israel out of the londe of Egipte with their armies.
51 Naquele mesmo dia, o S enhor tirou os israelitas da terra do Egito como um exército.
