1 For this cause I Paul a in ye bodes of Iesus christ for youre sakes which are hethen:
1 Por essa razão eu, Paulo, o prisioneiro de Cristo Jesus, por amor de vocês, os gentios —
2 Yf ye have hearde of the ministracion of the grace of god which is geven me to you warde.
2 se é que vocês ouviram falar a respeito da dispensação da graça de Deus a mim confiada em favor de vocês,
3 For by revelacion shewed he this mistery vnto me as I wrote above in feawe wordes
3 pois, segundo uma revelação, me foi dado a conhecer o mistério, conforme escrevi há pouco, resumidamente.
4 wher by when ye rede ye maye knowe myne vnderstondynge in the mistery of Christ
4 Ao lerem o que escrevi, poderão entender a minha compreensão do mistério de Cristo,
5 which mistery in tymes passed was not opened vnto the sonnes of men as it is nowe declared vnto his holy apostles and prophetes by the sprete:
5 o qual, em outras gerações, não foi dado a conhecer aos filhos dos homens, como agora foi revelado aos seus santos apóstolos e profetas, pelo Espírito.
6 that the gentyls shuld be inheritours also and of the same body and partakers of his promis yt is in Christ by ye meanes of the gospell
6 O mistério é que os gentios são coerdeiros, membros do mesmo corpo e coparticipantes da promessa em Cristo Jesus por meio do evangelho,
7 whereof I am made a minister by the gyfte of the grace of god geve vnto me thorow ye workynge of his power.
7 do qual fui constituído ministro conforme o dom da graça de Deus a mim concedida segundo a força operante do seu poder.
8 Vnto me the lest of all sayntes is this grace geven that I shuld preache amonge the gentyls the unsearchable ryches of Christ
8 A mim, o menor de todos os santos, foi dada esta graça de pregar aos gentios o evangelho das insondáveis riquezas de Cristo
9 and to make all men se what the felyshippe of the mistery is which from the begynnynge of the worlde hath bene hid in God which made all thynges thorow Iesus Christ
9 e manifestar a todos qual é a dispensação do mistério que, durante tempos passados, esteve oculto em Deus, que criou todas as coisas.
10 to the intent that now vnto the rulars and powers in heven myght be knowe by the cogregacion ye many folde wisdome of god
10 E isso para que agora, pela igreja, a multiforme sabedoria de Deus se torne conhecida dos principados e das potestades nas regiões celestiais,
11 accordinge to ye eternall purpose which he purposed in Christ Iesu oure lorde
11 segundo o eterno propósito que Deus estabeleceu em Cristo Jesus, nosso Senhor.
12 by who we are bolde to drawe nye in ye trust which we have by faith on hi
12 Em Cristo, temos ousadia e acesso a Deus com confiança, mediante a fé nele.
13 Wherfore I desire yt ye faynt not because of my trybulacios for youre sakes: which is youre prayse.
13 Portanto, eu peço que não desanimem por causa das minhas tribulações em favor de vocês, pois isso é motivo de honra para vocês.
14 For this cause I bowe my knees vnto the father of oure lorde Iesus Christ
14 Por essa razão, eu me ponho de joelhos diante do Pai,
15 which is father over all that ys called father In heven and in erth
15 de quem toda a família, nos céus e na terra, recebe o nome.
16 that he wolde graunt you acordynge to the ryches of his glory that ye maye be strenghted with myght by his sprete in the inner man
16 Peço a Deus que, segundo a riqueza da sua glória, conceda a vocês que sejam fortalecidos com poder, mediante o seu Espírito, no íntimo de cada um.
17 yt Christ maye dwell in youre hertes by fayth yt ye beynge roted and grounded in loue
17 E assim, pela fé, que Cristo habite no coração de vocês, estando vocês enraizados e alicerçados em amor.
18 myght be able to comprehende with all sayntes what ys that bredth aud length deepth and heyth:
18 Isto para que, com todos os santos, vocês possam compreender qual é a largura, o comprimento, a altura e a profundidade
19 and to knowe what is the love of Christ which love passeth knowledge: that ye might be fulfilled with all manner of fulnes which commeth of God.
19 e conhecer o amor de Cristo, que excede todo entendimento, para que vocês fiquem cheios de toda a plenitude de Deus.
20 Vnto him that is able to do excedynge aboudantly above all that we axe or thynke accordynge to the power that worketh in vs
20 Ora, àquele que é poderoso para fazer infinitamente mais do que tudo o que pedimos ou pensamos, conforme o seu poder que opera em nós,
21 be prayse in the congregacion by Iesus Christ thorow out all generacios from tyme to tyme Amen.
21 a ele seja a glória, na igreja e em Cristo Jesus, por todas as gerações, para todo o sempre. Amém!
