1 In the same ceason the Lord sayed vnto me hewe the two tables of stone like vnto the first and come vp vnto me in to the mount ad make the an Arke of wod,
1 Naquele mesmo tempo o Senhor disse-me: corta duas tábuas de pedra semelhantes às primeiras, e sobe para junto de mim no monte, depois de ter fabricado uma arca de madeira.
2 and I will wryte in the table, the wordes that were in the first tables which thou brakest, ad thou shalt put the in the arcke.
2 Escreverei nessas tábuas as, palavras que se achavam nas primeiras que quebraste, e tu as porás na arca.
3 And I made an arke of sethi wod ad hewed two tables of stone like vnto the first, ad went vp in to the mountayne and the .ij. tables in myne hande.
3 - Fiz, pois, uma arca de madeira de acácia, e cortei duas tábuas de pedra semelhantes às primeiras; depois disso, com as duas tábuas na mão, subi ao monte.
4 And he wrote in the tables, acording to the first writinge (the .x. verses whiche the Lorde spake vnto you in the mount out of the fire in the daye when the people were gathered) ad gaue the vnto me.
4 O Senhor gravou nas novas pedras o que tinha escrito nas primeiras, as dez palavras que ele vos tinha dirigido no monte, do meio do fogo, no dia da assembléia. Devolveu-mas em seguida, e
5 And I departed ad came doune fro the hyll and put the tables in the arcke which I had made: ad there they remayned, as the Lorde commaunded me
5 desci da montanha para depô-las na arca que tinha feito. E elas lá estão, como o Senhor me tinha ordenado.
6 And the childern of Israel toke their iurney from Beroth Be Iake to Mosera, where Aaro dyed ad where he was buried, ad Eleazer his sonne became preast i his steade.
6 Os israelitas partiram de Beerot-Bene-Jacã para Mosera, onde morreu Aarão. Seu filho Eleazar exerceu as funções sacerdotais em seu lugar, depois que foi enterrado ali.
7 And fro thece they departed vnto Gudgod: ad fro Gudgod to Iathbath, a lod of riuers of water.
7 Dali, foram a Gadgad, de Gadgad a Jetebata, onde havia água e torrentes em abundância.
8 And the same ceason the Lorde separated the trybe of Leui to beare the arcke of the appoyntment of the Lorde and to stonde before the Lorde, ad to ministre vnto him and to blesse in his name vnto this daye.
8 Foi nesse mesmo tempo que o Senhor designou a tribo de Levi para levar a arca da aliança do Senhor, para estar na sua presença, servi-lo e abençoar em seu nome, o que ela continua fazendo sempre.
9 Wherfore the Leuites haue no parte nor enheritaunce with their brethern. The Lorde he is their enheritaunce, as the Lorde thy God hath promysed them.
9 Por isso Levi não teve parte nem herança com seus irmãos: porque o Senhor mesmo é o seu patrimônio, como lhe prometeu o Senhor, teu Deus.
10 And I taried in the mount, eue as at the first tyme .xl. dayes and .xl. nyghtes and the Lorde herkened vnto me at that tyme also, so that the Lorde wolde not destroye the.
10 Como da primeira vez, fiquei sobre o monte quarenta dias e quarenta noites, e ainda dessa vez o Senhor ouviu-me, e renunciou a destruir-te.
11 And the Lorde sayed vnto me: vpp ad goo forth in the iurney before the people and let them goo in ad conquere the lond which I sware vnto their fathers to geue vnto them.
11 Mas disse-me: vai e marcha à frente do povo, para que entre e possua a terra que jurei a seus pais dar-lhe.
12 And now Israel what is it that the Lord thi God requyreth of the, but to feare the Lord thi God and to walke in all his wayes and to loue him and to serue the Lorde thy God with all thyne herte and with all thy soule,
12 E agora, ó Israel, o que pede a ti o Senhor, teu Deus, senão que o temas, andando nos seus caminhos, amando-o e servindo-o de todo o teu coração e de toda a tua alma,
13 that thou kepe the commaundmentes of the Lorde ad his ordinaunces which I commaunde the this daye, for thy welth.
13 observando os mandamentos do Senhor e suas leis, que hoje te prescrevo, para que sejas feliz?
14 Beholde, heauen and the heauen of heauens is the Lordes thy god, and the erth with all that therein is:
14 Vê: ao Senhor, teu Deus, pertencem os céus e os céus dos céus, a terra e tudo o que nela se encontra.
15 only the Lorde had a lust vnto thy fathers to loue them, and therfore chose you theire seed after them off all nacyons, as it is come to passe this daye.
15 Não obstante, só a teus pais se apegou o Senhor com amor, e elegeu a sua posteridade, depois deles, a vós, dentre todas as nações, como o vedes presentemente.
16 Circumcyse therfore the foreskynne of youre hartes, and be no longer sciffnecked.
16 Cortai, pois, o prepúcio de vosso coração, e cessai de endurecer vossa cerviz;
17 For the Lorde youre God, he is God of goddes and lorde of lordes, a greate God, a myghtye and a terreble which regardeth no mans person nor taketh giftes:
17 porque o Senhor, vosso Deus, é o Deus dos deuses e o Senhor dos senhores, o Deus grande, poderoso e temível, que não faz distinção de pessoas, nem aceita presentes.
18 but doeth right vnto the fatherlesse and wedowe and loueth the straunger, to geue him fode and rayment.
18 Ele faz justiça ao órfão e à viúva, e ama o estrangeiro, ao qual dá alimento e vestuário.
19 Loue therfore the straunger, for ye were straungers youre selues in the londe of Egipte.
19 Também vós, amai o estrangeiro, porque fostes estrangeiros no Egito.
20 Thou shalt feare the Lorde thi God and serue him and cleaue vnto him ad swere by his name,
20 Temerás o Senhor, teu Deus, e o servirás. Estarás unido a ele, e só pelo seu nome farás os teus juramentos.
21 for he is thi prayse ad he is thi God that hath done these greate and terreble thinges for the, which thine eyes haue sene.
21 Ele é a tua glória e o teu Deus, que fez por ti estas grandes e terríveis coisas que viste com os teus olhos.
22 Thi fathers went doune in to Egipte with .lxx. soules, ad now the Lorde thi God hath made the as the starres of heauen in multitude.
22 Quando os teus pais desceram ao Egito eram em número de setenta pessoas, e agora o Senhor, teu Deus, multiplicou-te como as estrelas do céu.
