1 In the same ceason the Lord sayed vnto me hewe the two tables of stone like vnto the first and come vp vnto me in to the mount ad make the an Arke of wod,
1 Naquele mesmo tempo, me disse o Senhor : Alisa duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras, e sobe a mim a este monte, e faze uma arca de madeira.
2 and I will wryte in the table, the wordes that were in the first tables which thou brakest, ad thou shalt put the in the arcke.
2 E, naquelas tábuas, escreverei as palavras que estavam nas primeiras tábuas que quebraste, e as porás na arca.
3 And I made an arke of sethi wod ad hewed two tables of stone like vnto the first, ad went vp in to the mountayne and the .ij. tables in myne hande.
3 Assim, fiz uma arca de madeira de cetim, e alisei duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras, e subi o monte com as duas tábuas na minha mão.
4 And he wrote in the tables, acording to the first writinge (the .x. verses whiche the Lorde spake vnto you in the mount out of the fire in the daye when the people were gathered) ad gaue the vnto me.
4 Então, escreveu o Senhor nas tábuas, conforme a primeira escritura, os dez mandamentos, que o Senhor vos falara no dia da congregação, no monte, do meio do fogo; e o Senhor mas deu a mim.
5 And I departed ad came doune fro the hyll and put the tables in the arcke which I had made: ad there they remayned, as the Lorde commaunded me
5 E virei-me, e desci do monte, e pus as tábuas na arca que fizera; e ali estão, como o Senhor me ordenou.
6 And the childern of Israel toke their iurney from Beroth Be Iake to Mosera, where Aaro dyed ad where he was buried, ad Eleazer his sonne became preast i his steade.
6 E partiram os filhos de Israel de Beerote-Benê-Jaacã a Mosera. Ali, faleceu Arão e ali foi sepultado. E Eleazar, seu filho, administrou o sacerdócio em seu lugar.
7 And fro thece they departed vnto Gudgod: ad fro Gudgod to Iathbath, a lod of riuers of water.
7 Dali, partiram a Gudgoda e de Gudgoda a Jotbatá, terra de ribeiros de águas.
8 And the same ceason the Lorde separated the trybe of Leui to beare the arcke of the appoyntment of the Lorde and to stonde before the Lorde, ad to ministre vnto him and to blesse in his name vnto this daye.
8 No mesmo tempo, o Senhor separou a tribo de Levi para levar a arca do concerto do Senhor , para estar diante do Senhor , para o servir e para abençoar em seu nome até ao dia de hoje.
9 Wherfore the Leuites haue no parte nor enheritaunce with their brethern. The Lorde he is their enheritaunce, as the Lorde thy God hath promysed them.
9 Pelo que Levi, com seus irmãos, não tem parte na herança; o Senhor é a sua herança, como o Senhor , teu Deus, lhe tem dito.
10 And I taried in the mount, eue as at the first tyme .xl. dayes and .xl. nyghtes and the Lorde herkened vnto me at that tyme also, so that the Lorde wolde not destroye the.
10 E eu estive no monte, como nos dias primeiros, quarenta dias e quarenta noites; e o Senhor me ouviu ainda por esta vez; não quis o Senhor destruir-te.
11 And the Lorde sayed vnto me: vpp ad goo forth in the iurney before the people and let them goo in ad conquere the lond which I sware vnto their fathers to geue vnto them.
11 Porém o Senhor me disse: Levanta-te, põe-te a caminho diante do povo, para que entre e possua a terra que jurei a seus pais dar-lhes.
12 And now Israel what is it that the Lord thi God requyreth of the, but to feare the Lord thi God and to walke in all his wayes and to loue him and to serue the Lorde thy God with all thyne herte and with all thy soule,
12 Agora, pois, ó Israel, que é o que o Senhor , teu Deus, pede de ti, senão que temas o Senhor , teu Deus, e que andes em todos os seus caminhos, e o ames, e sirvas ao Senhor , teu Deus, com todo o teu coração e com toda a tua alma,
13 that thou kepe the commaundmentes of the Lorde ad his ordinaunces which I commaunde the this daye, for thy welth.
13 para guardares os mandamentos do Senhor e os seus estatutos, que hoje te ordeno, para o teu bem?
14 Beholde, heauen and the heauen of heauens is the Lordes thy god, and the erth with all that therein is:
14 Eis que os céus e os céus dos céus são do Senhor , teu Deus, a terra e tudo o que nela há.
15 only the Lorde had a lust vnto thy fathers to loue them, and therfore chose you theire seed after them off all nacyons, as it is come to passe this daye.
15 Tão somente o Senhor tomou prazer em teus pais para os amar; e a vós, semente deles, escolheu depois deles, de todos os povos, como neste dia se vê.
16 Circumcyse therfore the foreskynne of youre hartes, and be no longer sciffnecked.
16 Circuncidai, pois, o prepúcio do vosso coração e não mais endureçais a vossa cerviz.
17 For the Lorde youre God, he is God of goddes and lorde of lordes, a greate God, a myghtye and a terreble which regardeth no mans person nor taketh giftes:
17 Pois o Senhor , vosso Deus, é o Deus dos deuses e o Senhor dos senhores, o Deus grande, poderoso e terrível, que não faz acepção de pessoas, nem aceita recompensas;
18 but doeth right vnto the fatherlesse and wedowe and loueth the straunger, to geue him fode and rayment.
18 que faz justiça ao órfão e à viúva e ama o estrangeiro, dando-lhe pão e veste.
19 Loue therfore the straunger, for ye were straungers youre selues in the londe of Egipte.
19 Pelo que amareis o estrangeiro, pois fostes estrangeiros na terra do Egito.
20 Thou shalt feare the Lorde thi God and serue him and cleaue vnto him ad swere by his name,
20 Ao Senhor , teu Deus, temerás; a ele servirás, e a ele te chegarás, e pelo seu nome jurarás.
21 for he is thi prayse ad he is thi God that hath done these greate and terreble thinges for the, which thine eyes haue sene.
21 Ele é o teu louvor e o teu Deus, que te fez estas grandes e terríveis coisas que os teus olhos têm visto.
22 Thi fathers went doune in to Egipte with .lxx. soules, ad now the Lorde thi God hath made the as the starres of heauen in multitude.
22 Com setenta almas teus pais desceram ao Egito; e, agora, o Senhor , teu Deus, te pôs como as estrelas dos céus em multidão.
