4 but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible {ornament} of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price.

5 For thus also the holy women who have hoped in God heretofore adorned themselves, being subject to their own husbands;

7 {Ye} husbands likewise, dwell with {them} according to knowledge, as with a weaker, {even} the female, vessel, giving {them} honour, as also fellow-heirs of {the} grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.
8 Niꞌcãrõacãrẽ nipeꞌtirãpʉre weretʉogʉti. Niꞌcãrõ meꞌrã nisetibʉroya. Ãpẽrãrẽ pajañaꞌña. Niꞌcʉ̃ põꞌrã weronojõ maꞌisetiya. “Ʉ̃sã ãpẽrã yʉꞌrʉoro niꞌi”, ni wãcũticãꞌña.

9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary, blessing {others}, because ye have been called to this, that ye should inherit blessing.
10 Dʉporopʉre niꞌcʉ̃ Salmo wãmetiri pũrĩpʉre añurõ nisetisere aꞌtiro ojacʉ niwĩ:
10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.
11 Noꞌo mʉsã ñaꞌarõ weesĩꞌrĩsere weeticãꞌña.
11 And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it;
12 Añurõ weesetirãrẽ Õꞌacʉ̃ coꞌtesami.
12 because {the} eyes of {the} Lord {are} on {the} righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but {the} face of {the} Lord {is} against them that do evil.
13 Mʉsã añuse diaꞌcʉ̃rẽ weeseticã, ¿noa mʉsãrẽ ñaꞌarõ weebosaʉ? Weetisama.
13 And who shall injure you if ye have become imitators of that which {is} good?
14 Mʉsã añurõ weemicã, ãpẽrã mʉsãrẽ ñaꞌarõ weecãma, eꞌcatiya. Õꞌacʉ̃ mʉsãrẽ añurõ weegʉsami. Tojo weerã na mʉsãrẽ ñaꞌarõ weesĩꞌrĩcã, wãcũqueꞌtiticãꞌña. Narẽ uiticãꞌña.
14 E até sereis felizes, se padecerdes alguma coisa por causa da justiça!
15 Aꞌtiro peꞌe wãcũña. “Jesucristo nipeꞌtirã buꞌipʉ ʉ̃sã wiogʉ nimi”, ni ẽjõpeoya. Noꞌo mʉsãrẽ ãpẽrã “¿Deꞌro weerã Jesucristore ẽjõpeoti?” nibosama. Na tojo nicã, mʉsã yʉꞌtiatjere wãcũyutojaya. Narẽ añurõ yʉꞌtimeꞌrĩcãꞌña. Pũrĩrõ yʉꞌtiticãꞌña.
15 Portanto, não temais as suas ameaças e não vos turbeis. Antes santificai em vossos corações Cristo, o Senhor. Estai sempre prontos a responder para vossa defesa a todo aquele que vos pedir a razão de vossa esperança, mas fazei-o com suavidade e respeito.

16 Tende uma consciência reta a fim de que, mesmo naquilo em que dizem mal de vós, sejam confundidos os que desacreditam o vosso santo procedimento em Cristo.
17 Õꞌacʉ̃ cʉ̃ ʉacãma, marĩ añurõ weemicã, ãpẽrã marĩrẽ ñaꞌarõ weebosama. Tojo weese añu niꞌi. Marĩ ñaꞌarõ weecã peꞌema, ãpẽrã marĩrẽ ñaꞌarõ weecã, marĩ ye buꞌirita niꞌi.
17 Aliás, é melhor padecer, se Deus assim o quiser, por fazer o bem do que por fazer o mal.
18 Jesucristomarĩcã añugʉ̃ nimigʉ̃, piꞌetiwĩ. Cʉ̃ buꞌiri moomigʉ̃, marĩ ñaꞌarõ weeꞌque wapare wẽrĩ wapayebosawĩ. Marĩ buꞌiri cʉorãrẽ wẽrĩbosagʉ, tojo weewĩ. Marĩrẽ yʉꞌrʉogʉ, niꞌcãtita wẽrĩwĩ. Cʉ̃ tojo weese meꞌrã cʉ̃ pacʉ tiropʉ marĩrẽ waꞌata basiocã weewĩ. Cʉ̃ buꞌicá upʉ waroma wẽrĩa waꞌawĩ. Wẽrĩtoja, beꞌro masãcʉ niwĩ. Cʉ̃ ejeripõꞌrã pũrĩcã wẽrĩticaro niwʉ̃.
18 Pois também Cristo morreu uma vez pelos nossos pecados - o Justo pelos injustos - para nos conduzir a Deus. Padeceu a morte em sua carne, mas foi vivificado quanto ao espírito.

19 É neste mesmo espírito que ele foi pregar aos espíritos que eram detidos no cárcere, àqueles que outrora, nos dias de Noé, tinham sido rebeldes,

20 quando Deus aguardava com paciência, enquanto se edificava a arca, na qual poucas pessoas, isto é, apenas oito se salvaram através da água.

21 Esta água prefigurava o batismo de agora, que vos salva também a vós, não pela purificação das impurezas do corpo, mas pela que consiste em pedir a Deus uma consciência boa, pela ressurreição de Jesus Cristo.
22 Jesucristo masã́ca beꞌro cʉ̃ pacʉ tiropʉ mʉjãacʉ niwĩ. Niꞌcãrõacãrẽ cʉ̃ wiogʉ dujiri cũmurõpʉ nisami. Cʉ̃ nipeꞌtirã buꞌipʉ, wiogʉ nimi. Õꞌacʉ̃rẽ werecoꞌterã, nipeꞌtirã wiorã ʉꞌmʉarõpʉ nirã́ yʉꞌrʉoro nimi.
22 Esse Jesus Cristo, tendo subido ao céu, está assentado à direita de Deus, depois de ter recebido a submissão dos anjos, dos principados e das potestades.
