5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.

7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Apeye ojanemocãrã niwã tja:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.

Ñaꞌase marĩrõ niseticã weecʉ niwĩ. Dʉporopʉ Õꞌacʉ̃ cʉ̃ yarã masã Israe curuacjãrãrẽ yʉꞌʉ wereꞌque pejere weecʉ niwĩ. Mʉsã Jesucristore ẽjõpeorã niꞌi. Tojo weegʉ mʉsãrẽ mejãrõta weemi. Õꞌacʉ̃ marĩrẽ añurõ weeꞌquere ãpẽrãrẽ weredutigʉ tojo weemi. Õꞌacʉ̃ añuyʉꞌrʉagʉ marĩ ñaꞌarõ weeꞌquere acobojomi. Acobojo, naꞌitĩꞌarõpʉ níꞌcãrãrẽ marĩrẽ yʉꞌrʉomi. Tojo weerã niꞌcãrõacãrẽ cʉ̃ põꞌrã boꞌreyuropʉ nirã́ weronojõ niꞌi.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Dʉporopʉ niꞌcʉ̃ Õꞌacʉ̃ ye queti weremʉꞌtãrĩ masʉ̃ aꞌtiro nicʉ niwĩ: “Õꞌacʉ̃ pãjãrã judío masã nitirãrẽ yʉꞌrʉogʉsami.” Tojo weerã mʉsã todʉporopʉre Õꞌacʉ̃ põꞌrã mejẽta níniꞌwʉ̃ yujupʉ. Niꞌcãrõacãrẽ cʉ̃rẽ ẽjõpeoca beꞌro cʉ̃ põꞌrã niꞌi majã. Õꞌacʉ̃rẽ mʉsã ẽjõpeose dʉporo cʉ̃ mʉsãrẽ maꞌisere, cʉ̃ pajañaꞌsere masĩticãrã niwʉ̃. Niꞌcãrõpʉta aꞌtere masĩꞌi majã.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Yʉꞌʉ mʉsãrẽ pũrõ maꞌisaꞌa. Niꞌcãrõacã yʉꞌʉ wereatjere mʉsã weecã ʉasaꞌa. Marĩ aꞌti turipʉre sijari masã niꞌi. Marĩ niatjo waro ʉꞌmʉsepʉ niꞌi. Topʉ ninuꞌcũcãꞌrãsaꞌa. 11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Mʉsã Jesucristore ẽjõpeotirã waꞌteropʉ nisaꞌa. Cʉ̃rẽ ẽjõpeose buꞌiri mʉsãrẽ “Ñaꞌarã nima”, ni ucjasama. Mʉsã na waꞌteropʉre añurõ nisetiya. Tojo weecã, na tojo ucjamirã, mʉsã añurõ weesetisere ĩꞌarãsama. Tere ĩꞌarã, siape meꞌrã pãjãrã Jesucristore ẽjõpeorãsama. 12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.

15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Õꞌacʉ̃ marĩrẽ yʉꞌrʉotojacʉ niwĩ. Tojo weerã yʉꞌrʉonoꞌcãrã weronojõ weesetirã. Aꞌtiro wãcũticãꞌrã. “Yʉꞌʉ ãpẽrã dutise doca niweꞌe. Tojo weegʉ yʉꞌʉ ʉaro weegʉti”, niticãꞌrã. Aꞌtiro peꞌe weerã. Õꞌacʉ̃rẽ maꞌi, cʉ̃ ʉaro weerã. Ñaꞌasere weeticãꞌrã. Daꞌracoꞌterã na wiogʉ dutisere añurõ yʉꞌtirã weronojõ marĩ quẽꞌrã Õꞌacʉ̃ dutisere yʉꞌtirã.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Dʉcawaaro marĩrõ nipeꞌtirãrẽ niꞌcãrõnojõ ĩꞌarã. Jesucristore ẽjõpeorãrẽ maꞌirã. Õꞌacʉ̃rẽ nʉcʉ̃ĩꞌase meꞌrã ẽjõpeorã. Aꞌti diꞌtacjʉ̃ wiogʉre wiopesase meꞌrã tʉꞌoñaꞌrã.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Mʉsã niꞌcãrẽrã ãpẽrãrẽ daꞌracoꞌterã nisaꞌa. Mʉsã wiorãrẽ ẽjõpeoya. Nipeꞌtirã na dutisere yʉꞌtiya. Mʉsãrẽ añurõ weerã́ diaꞌcʉ̃rẽ yʉꞌtiticãꞌña. Noꞌo ñaꞌarõ weerã́ quẽꞌrãrẽ yʉꞌtiya.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Apetero mʉsã añurõ weemicã, mʉsã wiorã buꞌiri daꞌrebosama. Na tojo weecã, mʉsã Õꞌacʉ̃rẽ ẽjõpeosere ĩꞌorã, narẽ yeꞌsuticãꞌña. Tojo weecã, mʉsãrẽ Õꞌacʉ̃ “Añurõ weema”, ni ĩꞌagʉ̃sami.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Mʉsã ñaꞌarõ wééca beꞌroma mʉsãrẽ buꞌiri daꞌrerã, queoro weerã weema. Mʉsã na buꞌiri daꞌresere nʉꞌcãrã, “Añurõ wéérã, nʉꞌcãꞌa”, niticãꞌña. Mʉsã tojo nʉꞌcãse wapamarĩꞌi. Mʉsã ñaꞌarõ weeꞌque wapa queorota buꞌiri daꞌrerã weesama. Mʉsã añurõ wééca beꞌro na ñaꞌarõ weecã, nʉꞌcãña. Tojo weese peꞌere Õꞌacʉ̃ “Añurõ weema”, ni ĩꞌagʉ̃sami.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Õꞌacʉ̃ mʉsã añurõ weemicã, mʉsãrẽ ñaꞌarõ weesere nʉꞌcãdutigʉ cũucʉ niwĩ. Jesucristomarĩcã marĩrẽ yʉꞌrʉogʉ, piꞌeti, wẽrĩwĩ. Añurõ weemicã, cʉ̃rẽ ñaꞌarõ weewã. Tojo weegʉ marĩ quẽꞌrãrẽ cʉ̃ weeꞌcaronojõta weesirutucã ʉasami.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Cʉ̃ ne niꞌcãti ñaꞌarõ weetiwĩ. Nisootiwĩ.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Cʉ̃rẽ ñaꞌarõ bujicãꞌcãrãrẽ narẽ bujicãꞌaꞌmetiwĩ. Cʉ̃ piꞌetigʉ, “Mʉsãrẽ buꞌiri daꞌregʉti”, nitiwĩ. Cʉ̃ pacʉ peꞌere “Yʉꞌʉ pacʉ cʉ̃ ʉaro, queoro ñaꞌarõ weerãrẽ buꞌiri daꞌregʉsami”, niwĩ. Tojo weegʉ cʉ̃ ye niatjere cʉ̃ pacʉpʉre wiawĩ.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Cʉ̃ basu marĩ ñaꞌarõ weeꞌque wapare wapayegʉ, curusapʉ wẽrĩwĩ. Marĩ ñaꞌarõ weesere duꞌudutigʉ marĩrẽ wẽrĩbosawĩ. Tojo cʉ̃ weese meꞌrã aꞌtiro weewĩ. Marĩrẽ ñaꞌasere sirutumiꞌcãrãrẽ añuse Õꞌacʉ̃ ye peꞌere sirutucã weewĩ. Cʉ̃ marĩrẽ yʉꞌrʉogʉ, cãmi daꞌrenoꞌo, ʉpʉtʉ pũrĩse tʉꞌoñaꞌwĩ. Tojo cʉ̃ weese meꞌrã marĩ ñaꞌarõ yʉꞌrʉboꞌcãrã yʉꞌrʉonoꞌwʉ̃.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Marĩ aꞌtiro nicũmiwʉ̃. Oveja sãꞌrĩrõ poꞌpeapʉ níꞌcãrã noꞌo ʉaro wijaawãꞌcãsama. Wijaawãꞌcã, ĩꞌanʉrʉ̃ticã, bajudutia waꞌasama. Marĩ na weronojõ nicũmiwʉ̃. Niꞌcãrõacãrẽ Jesucristore ẽjõpeoꞌo. Tojo weerã ovejare coꞌtegʉ bajudutiꞌcãrãrẽ aꞌma, cʉ̃ narẽ bocaꞌcaro weronojõ niꞌi. Jesucristo marĩrẽ ñaꞌarõ weeri nígʉ̃, marĩrẽ ĩꞌanʉrʉ̃, coꞌtegʉ nimi.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
