1 Yesu aatodha aabu̱gha nabo mu nsi̱mo sinji ati,
2 “Bu̱lemi̱ bwʼomu eghulu buli nga mukama oghu akateekani̱ja bu̱ghenu̱ bwa kuswela kwa mutabani̱ wee.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 “Niibuwo aatu̱mi̱ye baheeleli̱ya be banji kughambila bantu aba ati, ‘Ki̱ghenu̱ kyamali̱ye kuteekani̱i̱ji̱buwa. Naamali̱ye kusala nte syanje esi̱noni̱ye kwonini kandi bu̱li̱ kintu kyona kyamali̱ye kuteekani̱ji̱buwa. Mwise haa bu̱ghenu̱!’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 “Bhaatu baghenu̱ aba abaabaagha abilikiiye baaghaya ebi baheeleli̱ya aba baabaghambiiye, beeghendela mu byabo. Omui eeghendela mu musili ghuwe, onji eeghendela mu bu̱su̱u̱bu̱li̱ buwe.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 “Mukama oghu ki̱i̱ni̱gha kyamukwatila kimui. Aatuma baasilikale be baata boona abaati̱ye baheeleli̱ya be aba kandi na tau̱ni̱ yabo baasilikale baaghyoki̱ya.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Mukama oghu aaghila baheeleli̱ya be banji ati, ‘Bintu bya bu̱ghenu̱ byona byahooye kuteekani̱ji̱buwa bhaatu naabilikiiye bantu batabhonganuuwe.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Nahabweki mughende mu nguudhe mubilikile weena oghu mulakasanga aase mu bu̱ghenu̱ buni.’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Du̱mbi̱ baheeleli̱ya aba baaghenda mu bihanda baabilikila aba baakasangi̱ye, bataaku̱solooli̱ya bati kedha oni ni mubhi kedha mulungi, ti̱ kisiika baakolelaghamu bu̱ghenu̱ obu nkyasulila kimui baghenu̱.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Bhaatu obu mukama oghu aataahi̱ye mu kisiika eki kulola baghenu̱ be, aabonamu musaasa atalu̱wete ki̱lu̱walo kya bu̱ghenu̱ obu.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
Musaasa oghu aabuluwa kyakukuukamu.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 “Niibuwo mukama oghu aaghi̱li̱ye baheeleli̱ya be ati, ‘Mumubohe mikono hamui na maghulu, mumukube enja, mu mweli̱ma hambali akulila kwonini kandi eenene ngaga haabwa kubona-bona.’ ”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yesu aamaliilila naaghila ati, “Bakani̱ye babilikiiwe bhaatu balikomuwamu bakee.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Bafali̱saayo baagumbaana hamui kandi baahanuula mulingo ghwa kwohi̱ya Yesu ku̱bu̱gha kintu ki̱bhi̱i̱hi̱ye niikuwo batunge kahanda kaa kumukwatilamu.
15 — ausente —
16 Baatuma bamui mu beeghesebuwa baabo hamui na bahagi̱li̱ baa Helude kughenda hambali ali. Obu baaki̱dhi̱ye, baamughila bati, “Mwegheesi̱ya, tumani̱ye ngoku oku̱bu̱ghagha majima ghonkaha, okwegheesi̱yagha bighambo bya Luhanga mu majima kandi bantu boona okubengana-ngani̱yagha, tookufuwaaghʼo bi̱ti̱i̱ni̱sa byabo.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Otughambile eki okweli̱li̱kana haa kini: Kusighikila mu bilaghilo, ki̱hi̱ki̱ye kuha musolo ghwa Kai̱saali̱ mukama wa Looma, kedha bbaa?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Bhaatu Yesu aamanya byeli̱li̱kano byabo bi̱bhi̱i̱hi̱ye, aabaghila ati, “Ngobi̱ya enu̱we! Mukubbala ku̱njohi̱ya nangaaki?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Munjoleke mukwenge oghu mukuhaaghamu musolo.” Baamuleetela ghuwo.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Baamukuukamu bati, “Ni bya Kai̱saali̱.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Kilo eki kyonini, bamui mu Basadukaayo abaaghilagha bati bantu tabali̱hu̱mbu̱u̱ka, baasa baabu̱u̱li̱ya Yesu bati,
23 — ausente —
24 “Mwegheesi̱ya, Musa akaghila ati, ‘Musaasa naasweye mukali̱, ti̱ musaasa oghu aku̱wa atabyayʼo mukali̱ oghu mwana, mwana waani̱na musaasa oghu aswele mu̱kwi̱si̱ya oghu niikuwo abyalile mwana waani̱na wee oghu baana.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Ewaatu hani, hakaba haliyo banaani̱na emui musanju̱. Mukulu wabo aaswela mukali̱, bhaatu aaku̱wa atamubyayʼo mwana. Oghu amulabhi̱ye aaswela mu̱kwi̱si̱ya oghu.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Haakumaliilila mukali̱ oghu naye aaku̱wa.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Buuye obu Luhanga ali̱hu̱mbu̱u̱la bantu boona, mukali̱ oghu aliba mukaa ani̱? Nanga boona musanju̱ bakamuswelʼo.’ ”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Obu Luhanga ali̱hu̱mbu̱u̱la abaku̱u̱ye, tabaliswela kedha kusweluwa bbaa. Baliba nga baamalai̱ka bʼomu eghulu.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Bhaatu haa bya bantu baku̱u̱ye ku̱hu̱mbu̱u̱ka, buuye tamukasomaghʼo kini mu Ebyahandi̱i̱ku̱u̱we ngu hambele Ebbulahi̱mu̱, I̱saka, na Yakobbo bamali̱ye ku̱ku̱wa, ngoku Luhanga aaghi̱li̱ye ati,
34 Obu Bafali̱saayo baaghu̱u̱ye ngu Yesu aaholeeseei̱ye Basadukaayo baabuluwa kyakumukuukamu, baagumbaana hambali ali.
37 Yesu aamukuukamu ati, “‘Okundaghe Mukama Luhanga waawe na mutima ghwawe ghwona, bwomi̱i̱li̱ bwawe bwona, na magheji ghaawe ghoona.’
38 Eki niikiyo kilaghilo kyʼoku̱du̱bha kandi ekisaai̱ye byona.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Ti̱ ekyakabili ekili ngʼeki kikughilagha kiti: ‘Okundaghe muunakyawe ngoku weeku̱ndi̱ye weenini.’
Responderam: De Davi!
43 Niibuwo aababu̱u̱i̱ye ati, “Ti̱, haabwaki buuye Dhau̱dhi̱ Mwoyo Ahi̱ki̱li̱i̱ye naamu̱koleeseei̱ye kughila Ki̱li̱si̱to oghu ati ‘Mukama wanje’? Nanga Dhau̱dhi̱ akaghila ati,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 “ ‘Mukama aaghila Mukama wanje ati,
45 Buuye Dhau̱dhi̱ eenini obu alaba naaghi̱li̱ye ati Ki̱li̱si̱to ni Mukama wee, Mukama oghu akugubha ati̱ya kuba muusukulu wee?”
