1 And the lot for the tribe of the sons of Judah for their families was to the border of Edom, the wilderness of Zin southward, in the extreme south.
1 Esta foi, portanto, a sorte da tribo dos filhos de Judá, segundo as suas famílias; até o termo de Edom, o deserto de Zim, em direção ao sul era a parte extrema da costa sul.
2 And their south border was from the end of the Salt Sea, from the bay that looked southward.
2 E o seu limite sul era desde a margem do mar Salgado, desde a baía que olha para o sul;
3 And it went out southward to the ascent of Akrabbim, and passed on to Zin, and went up on the south of Kadesh-barnea, and passed to Hezron, and went up toward Adar, and turned toward Karkaa,
3 e saiu para o lado sul até Maalé-Acrabim, passou ao longo de Zim, e subiu pelo lado sul até Cades-Barneia, e passou ao longo de Hezrom, e subiu até Adar, e deu a volta por Carca;
4 and passed on to Azmon, and went out by the torrent of Egypt; and the boundary line was at the sea. This shall be your south border.
4 ele passava em direção a Azmom, e saía até o rio do Egito; e as saídas daquele termo ficavam junto ao mar; este será o vosso termo meridional.
5 And the east border was the Salt Sea to the end of the Jordan; and the border on the north side was from the bay of the sea at the end of the Jordan.
5 E o limite leste era o mar Salgado, até a extremidade do Jordão. E o seu limite na porção setentrional era desde a baía do mar na parte extrema do Jordão;
6 And the border went up to Beth-hoglah, and passed on the north of Beth-arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben;
6 e o limite subia até Bete-Hogla, e passava ao norte de Bete-Arabá; e o limite subia até a pedra de Boã, o filho de Rúben;
7 And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and northward looking toward Gilgal, which is opposite to the ascent of Adummim, which is the south side of the torrent; and the border passed to the waters of En-shemesh, and its boundary line was at Enrogel.
7 e o limite subia em direção a Debir, desde o vale de Acor, e dali em direção norte, olhando para Gilgal, que está diante da subida de Adumim, que está no lado sul do rio; e o limite passava em direção às águas de En-Semes, e as suas saídas ficavam em En-Rogel;
8 And the border went up to the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite on the south (it is Jerusalem) and the border went up to the top of the mountain which is before the valley of Hinnom westward at the far end of the Valley of the Giants northward.
8 e o limite subia pelo vale do filho de Hinom até o lado sul do jebuseu, que é Jerusalém; e o limite subia até o cume do monte que está entre o vale de Hinom, em direção oeste, o qual fica na extremidade do vale dos gigantes, em direção norte;
9 And the border was drawn from the top of the mount to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah; and it went up to the cities of Mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah (it is Kirjath-jearim).
9 e o limite se estendia do cume do monte até a fonte da água de Neftoa, e subia até as cidades do monte Efrom; e o limite se estendia até Baalá, que é Quiriate-Jearim.
10 And the border turned around from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, and passed toward the side of Mount Jearim on the north (it is Chesalon) and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed along by Timnah;
10 E o limite circundava desde Baalá, em direção oeste, até o monte Seir, e passava até o lado do monte Jearim, que é Quesalom, no lado norte, e descia até Bete-Semes, e passava adiante até Timna.
11 and the border went out to the side of Ekron northward; and the border was drawn to Shikkeron, and passed along to Mount Baalah, and went out to Jabneel. And the boundary line was at the Sea.
11 E o limite saía para o lado de Ecrom em direção ao norte; e o limite se estendia até Siquerom, e passava até o monte Baalá, e saía até Jabneel; e as saídas do limite eram junto ao mar.
12 And the west border was to the Great Sea, and its coast. This is the border of the sons of Judah all around, for their families.
12 E o limite oeste era o grande mar, e o seu limite. Este é o termo dos filhos de Judá, ao seu redor, segundo as suas famílias.
13 And he gave a portion to Caleb the son of Jephunneh among the sons of Judah, according to the command of Jehovah to Joshua: the City of Arba, the father of Anak; it is Hebron.
13 E a Calebe, o filho de Jefoné, ele deu uma parte no meio dos filhos de Judá, segundo o mandamento do SENHOR a Josué, a saber, a cidade de Arba, o pai de Anaque, a qual é a cidade de Hebrom.
14 And Caleb expelled from there the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, the sons of Anak.
14 E Calebe expulsou de lá os três filhos de Anaque: Sesai, Aimã e Talmai; os filhos de Anaque.
15 And he went up there to the inhabitants of Debir; and the name of Debir formerly was the City of Sepher.
15 E ele subiu de lá até os habitantes de Debir; e o nome de Debir, anteriormente, era Quiriate-Sefer.
16 And Caleb said, He who strikes the City of Sepher, and captures it, I shall give my daughter Achsah to him for a wife.
16 E Calebe disse: Aquele que ferir Quiriate-Sefer, e a tomar, a ele darei a minha filha, Acsa.
17 And Othniel, the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it. And He gave his daughter Achsah to him for a wife.
17 E Otniel, o filho de Quenaz, o irmão de Calebe, tomou-a; e ele entregou-lhe a sua filha Acsa por esposa.
18 And it happened, as she came, that she persuaded him to ask from her father a field. And she dismounted from the ass, and Caleb said to her, What do you desire ?
18 E sucedeu que, vindo ela até ele, ela o levou a pedir ao seu pai um campo; e ela desceu do seu jumento; e Calebe lhe disse: O que queres tu?
19 And she said, Give a blessing to me. You have given me the land of the south, then you shall give to me springs of water. And he gave to her the upper springs and the lower springs.
19 Que respondeu: Dá-me uma bênção; pois tu me deste uma terra meridional; dá-me também fontes de água. E ele lhe deu as fontes superiores, e as fontes inferiores.
20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah, for their families:
20 Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Judá, segundo as suas famílias.
21 And the cities at the furthest border of the tribe of the sons of Judah were to the border of Edom in the south: Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
21 E as cidades limítrofes da tribo dos filhos de Judá, em direção ao termo de Edom, ao sul eram: Cabzeel, e Éder, e Jagur,
22 and Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,

42 Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,

43 and Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,

44 and Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities and their villages
44 e Queila, e Aczibe, e Maressa: nove cidades com as suas aldeias;
45 Ekron with its daughter-villages;
45 Ecrom, com as suas cidades e as suas aldeias;
46 from Ekron even to the sea, all that were at hand by Ashdod, and their villages;
46 desde Ecrom, até ao mar, todas as que se situam próximas a Asdode, com as suas aldeias.
47 Ashdod with its daughter-villages; Gaza with its daughter-villages, to the river of Egypt, and the Great Sea, and its coast.
47 Asdode, com as suas cidades e aldeias, Gaza, com as suas cidades e aldeias, até o rio do Egito, e o grande mar, e o seu limite;
48 And in the hills: Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
48 e nos montes: Samir, e Jatir, e Socó,
49 and Dannah, and Kirjath-sannah, which is Debir,
49 e Daná, e Quiriate-Sana, que é Debir,
50 and Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,

63 As for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah could not drive them out. But the Jebusites dwell with the sons of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.
63 Quanto aos jebuseus, os habitantes de Jerusalém, os filhos de Judá não conseguiram expulsá-los; mas os jebuseus habitam com os filhos de Judá em Jerusalém, até este dia.
