1 The Supreme God, God, Yahweh, has spoken and summoned the earth, from the rising of the sun to its setting.
1 Salmo de Asafe. O Deus poderoso, o SENHOR mesmo, falou e chamou a terra desde o nascer do sol, até o seu baixar.
2 From Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.
2 Desde Sião, a perfeição da beleza, Deus resplandeceu.
3 Our God comes and he is not silent. Before him fire devours, and around him it is very tempestuous.
3 Nosso Deus virá, e não ficará em silêncio; um fogo devorará diante dele, e tudo será muito tempestuoso ao redor dele.
4 He summons the heavens above and the earth that he might judge his people:
4 Ele clamará aos céus lá de cima, e à terra, para que ele possa julgar seu povo.
5 “Gather to me my loyal ones, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
5 Ajuntai meus santos para mim; aqueles que fizeram um pacto comigo pelo sacrifício.
6 And the heavens declare his righteousness, because God himself is judge. Selah
6 E os céus declararão a sua justiça; pois Deus é juiz, ele próprio. Selá.
7 “Hear, O my people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you. I am God, your God.
7 Ouve, ó meu povo, e eu falarei; ó Israel, e testificarei contra ti. Eu sou Deus, teu Deus.
8 It is not concerning a lack of your sacrifices that I rebuke you, and your burnt offerings are before me continually.
8 Eu não te reprovarei pelos teus sacrifícios ou pelas tuas ofertas queimadas, que estão continuamente diante de mim.
9 I will not take from your house a bull or from your stalls a he-goat,
9 Não tomarei nenhum boi da tua casa, nem bodes dos teus apriscos.
10 because every animal of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.
10 Pois todo o animal da floresta é meu, e o gado sobre mil colinas.
11 I know every bird of the mountains, and every moving creature in the field is mine.
11 Eu conheço todas as aves dos montes, e os animais selvagens do campo são meus.
12 If I were hungry I would not tell you, because the world and its fullness are mine.
12 Se eu estivesse com fome, eu não te contaria; pois o mundo é meu e a sua plenitude.
13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?
13 Comerei eu a carne de touros ou beberei o sangue de cabras?
14 Offer to God a thank offering and pay your vows to the Most High.
14 Oferece a Deus ação de graças, e paga os teus votos ao Altíssimo.
15 And call me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will glorify me.”
15 E invoca-me no dia da angústia; eu te livrarei, e tu me glorificarás.
16 But to the wicked God says, “What right have you to recite my statutes and ⌞mention my covenant with your mouth⌟,
16 Mas aos perversos Deus diz: O que tens a fazer para declarar meus estatutos, ou para que pudesses tomar meu pacto na tua boca?
17 while you yourself hate discipline, and cast my words behind you?
17 Vendo que tu odeias a instrução, e lanças minhas palavras para trás de ti.
18 When you see a thief, then you are pleased with him, and your association is with adulterers.
18 Quando viste um ladrão, então consentiste com ele, e foste cúmplice de adúlteros.
19 You give your mouth free rein for evil, and you harness your tongue to deceit.
19 Tu dás tua boca para o mal, e a tua língua porta o engano.
20 You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your mother’s son.
20 Tu te assentas e falas contra o teu irmão; tu calunias o filho da tua própria mãe.
21 These things you have done, and I have been silent; You imagined that I was just like you. I will rebuke you and present an argument before your eyes.
21 Estas coisas tu fizeste, e eu mantive o silêncio; tu pensaste que eu estava junto de alguém como tu; mas eu te reprovarei, e as colocarei em ordem diante de teus olhos.
22 Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you apart, and there will be none to deliver.
22 Considerai isto agora, vós que esquecestes de Deus, para que eu não vos rasgue em pedaços, e não haja ninguém para livrar.
23 He who sacrifices a thank offering honors me, and he who orders his way; I will show him the salvation of God.”
23 Quem quer que ofereça louvor, me glorifica; e àquele que ordena sua conversa corretamente, eu mostrarei a salvação de Deus.
