1 Then on the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons and Israel’s elders,
1 No oitavo dia, depois da cerimônia de consagração, Moisés reuniu Arão, seus filhos e os líderes de Israel
2 and he said to Aaron, “Take for yourself ⌞a bull calf⌟ as a sin offering and a ram as a burnt offering, without defect, and present them ⌞before⌟ Yahweh.
2 e disse a Arão: “Escolha um bezerro para a oferta pelo pecado e um carneiro para o holocausto, ambos sem defeito, e apresente-os ao S enhor .
3 Then you must speak to the ⌞Israelites⌟, saying, ‘Take ⌞a he-goat⌟ as a sin offering and a bull calf and a male sheep, ⌞yearlings⌟ without defect, as a burnt offering,
3 Depois, diga aos israelitas: ‘Escolham um bode para a oferta pelo pecado e um bezerro e um cordeiro, ambos de um ano e sem defeito, para o holocausto.
4 and an ox and a ram as fellowship offerings to sacrifice ⌞before⌟ Yahweh, and a grain offering mixed with oil, because today Yahweh will appear to you.”
4 Escolham também um boi e um carneiro para a oferta de paz, além de farinha misturada com azeite para a oferta de cereal. Apresentem todas essas ofertas ao S enhor , pois hoje o S enhor aparecerá a vocês’”.
5 So they took what Moses had commanded to the ⌞front of⌟ the tent of assembly, and the whole community presented themselves, and they stood ⌞before⌟ Yahweh.
5 O povo trouxe todas essas coisas à entrada da tenda do encontro, conforme Moisés tinha ordenado. Assim, toda a comunidade se aproximou e permaneceu em pé diante do S enhor .
6 Then Moses said, “This is the word that Yahweh commanded you to do ⌞so that⌟ the glory of Yahweh might appear to you.”
6 Então Moisés disse: “É isto que o S enhor ordenou que façam para que a glória do S enhor lhes apareça”.
7 Then Moses said to Aaron, “Approach the altar and ⌞sacrifice⌟ your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people. And ⌞sacrifice⌟ the people’s offering and make atonement for them, just as Yahweh has commanded.”
7 Em seguida, Moisés disse a Arão: “Venha até o altar e apresente sua oferta pelo pecado e seu holocausto para fazer expiação por si mesmo e pelo povo. Apresente as ofertas do povo para fazer expiação por eles, conforme o S enhor ordenou”.
8 Then Aaron approached the altar, and he slaughtered the bull calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
8 Arão foi até o altar e matou o bezerro como oferta pelo pecado por si mesmo.
9 Then Aaron’s sons presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and he put it on the altar’s horns, and he poured out the blood on the altar’s base.
9 Seus filhos lhe trouxeram o sangue, e Arão molhou o dedo nele e o colocou nas pontas do altar. O restante do sangue ele derramou na base do altar.
10 And the fat and the kidneys and the lobe ⌞from the sin offering’s liver⌟ he turned into smoke on the altar, just as Yahweh had commanded Moses,
10 Queimou no altar a gordura, os rins e o lóbulo do fígado da oferta pelo pecado, conforme o S enhor havia ordenado a Moisés.
11 but the meat and the skin he burned ⌞with fire⌟ ⌞outside the camp⌟.
11 A carne e o couro, porém, queimou fora do acampamento.
12 Then he slaughtered the burnt offering, and Aaron’s sons brought the blood to him, and he sprinkled it on the altar all around;
12 Então Arão matou o animal para o holocausto. Seus filhos lhe trouxeram o sangue, e ele o derramou em todos os lados do altar.
13 and they brought the burnt offering to him by its pieces, as well as the head, and he turned them into smoke on the altar;
13 Entregaram-lhe cada um dos pedaços do holocausto, incluindo a cabeça, e ele os queimou no altar.
14 and he washed the inner parts and the lower leg bones, then he turned them into smoke upon the burnt offering on the altar.
14 Lavou os órgãos internos e as pernas e os queimou no altar junto com o restante do holocausto.
15 Then he presented the people’s offering, and he took the goat of the sin offering, which was for the people, and he slaughtered it and offered it as a sin offering like the first one.
15 Em seguida, Arão apresentou as ofertas do povo. Matou o bode do povo e o apresentou como oferta pelo pecado deles, como havia feito com a oferta por seu próprio pecado.
16 Then he presented the burnt offering, and he ⌞sacrificed⌟ it according to the regulation.
16 Depois, apresentou o holocausto e o ofereceu de acordo com a forma prescrita.
17 Then he presented the grain offering, and he filled his palm ⌞with some of⌟ it, and he turned it into smoke on the altar besides the morning’s burnt offering.
17 Apresentou também a oferta de cereal e queimou no altar um punhado dela, além do holocausto da manhã.
18 Then he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the fellowship offerings that are for the people, and Aaron’s sons brought the blood to him, and he sprinkled it on the altar all around.
18 Arão matou o boi e o carneiro para a oferta de paz do povo. Seus filhos lhe trouxeram o sangue, e ele o derramou em todos os lados do altar.
19 And as for the fat portions from the ox and from the ram (the fat tail and the layer of fat and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver),
19 Depois, pegou a gordura do boi e do carneiro, incluindo a gordura da parte gorda da cauda e a gordura que envolve os órgãos internos, bem como os rins e o lóbulo do fígado de cada animal,
20 they placed the fat portions on the breast sections, and he turned the fat portions into smoke on the altar.
20 colocou as porções de gordura sobre o peito dos animais e as queimou no altar.
21 Then Aaron waved the breast sections and the right upper thigh as a wave offering ⌞before⌟ Yahweh, just as Moses had commanded.
21 Arão moveu o peito e a coxa direita dos animais para o alto como oferta especial para o S enhor , conforme Moisés havia ordenado.
22 Then Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, and he blessed them, and he came down ⌞after⌟ ⌞sacrificing⌟ the sin offering and the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.
22 Por fim, Arão ergueu as mãos na direção do povo e o abençoou. Depois de apresentar a oferta pelo pecado, o holocausto e a oferta de paz, desceu do altar.
23 Then Moses and Aaron entered the tent of assembly. When they came out, they blessed the people, and Yahweh’s glory appeared to all the people.
23 Então Moisés e Arão entraram na tenda do encontro e, quando voltaram, abençoaram o povo novamente, e a glória do S enhor apareceu a todo o povo.
24 Then a fire went out ⌞from before⌟ Yahweh, and it consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And all the people saw it, so they shouted for joy, and they fell on their faces.
24 Fogo saiu da presença do S enhor e consumiu o holocausto e a gordura no altar. Quando eles viram isso, gritaram de alegria e se prostraram com o rosto no chão.
