1 Then Yahweh called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of assembly, saying,
1 Da tenda do encontro, o S enhor chamou Moisés e lhe disse:
2 “Speak to the ⌞Israelites⌟, and say to them, ‘When a person from you presents an offering to Yahweh, you shall present your offering from domestic animals, from the cattle or from the flock.
2 “Dê as seguintes instruções ao povo de Israel. Quando você apresentar um animal como oferta para o S enhor , escolha-o dos rebanhos de gado, ovelhas ou cabras.
3 If his offering is a burnt offering from the cattle, then he must present an unblemished male; he must present it at the door of the tent of assembly for his acceptance ⌞before⌟ Yahweh.
3 “Se o animal que apresentar como holocausto for do rebanho de gado, deverá ser um macho sem defeito. Leve-o até a entrada da tenda do encontro, para que seja aceito pelo S enhor .
4 “ ‘He must lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering and it will be accepted for him in order to make atonement for him.
4 Coloque a mão sobre a cabeça do animal, para que seja aceito em seu lugar como expiação.
5 He must slaughter ⌞the young bull⌟ ⌞before⌟ Yahweh, then Aaron’s sons, the priests, will present the blood and sprinkle the blood all around the altar that is at the door of the tent of assembly.
5 Mate o novilho na presença do S enhor , e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, oferecerão o sangue do animal, derramando-o em todos os lados do altar que está à entrada da tenda do encontro.
6 Then he must remove the skin of the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.
6 Depois, tire a pele do animal e corte-o em pedaços.
7 The sons of Aaron the priest will put fire on the altar and arrange the wood on the fire.
7 Os filhos do sacerdote Arão acenderão o fogo no altar e ali arrumarão a lenha.
8 Then Aaron’s sons, the priests, will arrange the pieces of meat, the head, and the suet on the wood that is on the fire that is on the altar.
8 Arrumarão também os pedaços da oferta, incluindo a cabeça e a gordura, sobre a lenha acesa no altar,
9 Then he must wash its inner parts and its lower leg bones with water, and the priest will turn into smoke the whole animal on the altar as a burnt offering by fire, as an appeasing fragrance for Yahweh.
9 mas os órgãos internos e as pernas serão lavados primeiro com água. Então o sacerdote queimará tudo no altar como holocausto. É uma oferta especial, um aroma agradável ao S enhor .
10 “ ‘But if his offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats for a burnt offering, he must present an unblemished male.
10 “Se o animal que apresentar como holocausto for um carneiro ou um cabrito, deverá ser um macho sem defeito.
11 He must slaughter it on the north side of the altar ⌞before⌟ Yahweh; then Aaron’s sons, the priests, will sprinkle its blood all around the altar.
11 Mate o animal junto ao lado norte do altar, na presença do S enhor , e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, derramarão o sangue do animal em todos os lados do altar.
12 Then he must cut it into pieces along with its head and its suet; and the priest will arrange them on the wood that is on the fire that is on the altar.
12 Depois, corte o animal em pedaços, incluindo a cabeça e a gordura. Os sacerdotes arrumarão os pedaços da oferta sobre a lenha acesa no altar,
13 Then he must wash the inner parts and the lower leg bones with water and the priest shall present the whole animal and will turn it into smoke on the altar; it is a burnt offering by fire as an appeasing fragrance for Yahweh.
13 mas os órgãos internos e as pernas serão lavados primeiro com água. Então o sacerdote queimará tudo no altar como holocausto. É uma oferta especial, um aroma agradável ao S enhor .
14 “ ‘But if his offering for Yahweh is a burnt offering from the birds, then he must present his offering from the turtledoves or from ⌞the young doves⌟.
14 “Se apresentar ao S enhor uma ave como holocausto, deverá ser uma rolinha ou um pombinho.
15 The priest will present it at the altar and must wring off its head and turn it into smoke on the altar, and its blood will be drained out on the wall of the altar.
15 O sacerdote levará a ave até o altar, destroncará a cabeça dela e deixará o sangue escorrer na lateral do altar. Em seguida, queimará a ave.
16 He must remove its crop with its plumage and throw it to the east beside the altar on the place of the fatty ashes.
16 O sacerdote removerá o papo e as penas da cauda da ave e os lançará do lado leste do altar, sobre as cinzas.
17 Then he must tear it apart by its wings but must not sever it; then the priest will turn it into smoke on the altar. It is a burnt offering by fire as an appeasing fragrance for Yahweh.’ ”
17 Depois, segurando a ave pelas asas, o sacerdote a partirá, mas sem despedaçá-la, e a apresentará como holocausto sobre a lenha acesa no altar. É uma oferta especial, um aroma agradável ao S enhor .”
