1 And the word of Yahweh ⌞came⌟ to me, ⌞saying⌟,
1 Recebi esta mensagem do S enhor :
2 “And you, son of man, raise a lament against Tyre.
2 “Filho do homem, entoe um cântico fúnebre para Tiro,
3 And you must say to Tyre, the one who sits at the entrance of the sea as the merchant of the peoples to the many coastlands, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Tyre, ⌞you yourself said⌟ “I am perfect ⌞in beauty⌟!”
3 essa cidade que é entrada para o mar, que estabelece relações comerciais com muitas nações. Transmita-lhe a seguinte mensagem do S enhor Soberano: “Ó cidade de Tiro, você se gloriava: ‘Minha beleza é perfeita!’.
4 In the heart of the seas are your boundaries; your builders perfected your beauty.
4 Estendeu seus limites para o mar; seus construtores aperfeiçoaram sua beleza.
5 They built with pine trees from Senir all of your boards for you; they took cedars from Lebanon to make a sailing mast ⌞for you⌟.
5 Você era como uma grande embarcação, construída com os melhores ciprestes de Senir. Com um cedro do Líbano fabricaram seu mastro.
6 They made your oars with oaks from Bashan; your deck they made with inlaid ivory, with cypress trees from the coastlands of Cyprus.
6 Fizeram seus remos com carvalhos de Basã. Seu convés de pinho dos litorais de Chipre era decorado com marfim.
7 Your sail was fine linen with colorful weaving from Egypt ⌞to serve as a banner for you⌟; blue and purple cloth from the coastlands of Cyprus was your awning.
7 Suas velas eram de linho egípcio da melhor qualidade e esvoaçavam sobre você como uma bandeira. Seus toldos eram azuis e vermelhos, coloridos com tinturas dos litorais de Elisá.
8 The inhabitants of Sidon and Arvan were your rowers; your ⌞skilled men⌟, O Tyre, were ⌞from your own people⌟, and they were your seamen.
8 Seus remadores eram de Sidom e Arvade, seus timoneiros, homens habilidosos de Tiro.
9 The elders of Gebal and its ⌞skilled men⌟ were ⌞among you⌟ as the repairers of the seam of your boat; all of the ships of the sea and their mariners were ⌞among you⌟ to barter your wares.
9 Antigos e sábios artesãos de Gebal calafetaram a embarcação. Navios de todas as nações vinham com mercadorias para negociar com você.
10 Persia and Lud and Put were ⌞among your soldiers⌟; small shield and helmet hung ⌞among you⌟ and gave to you your adornment.
10 “Homens das terras distantes da Pérsia, de Lídia e da Líbia serviam em seu grande exército. Penduravam os escudos e os capacetes em seus muros e assim lhe davam muita honra.
11 The people of Arvan and Helech were on your walls all around, and Gammadites were in your towers. They hung their quivers on your walls all around; they perfected your beauty.
11 Homens de Arvade e de Heleque montavam guarda no alto de seus muros, e em suas torres ficavam homens de Gamade. Os escudos deles, pendurados em seus muros, completavam sua beleza.
12 “ ‘Tarshish was your trader; from the abundance of all of their wealth, with silver, iron, tin, and lead they exchanged for your merchandise.
12 “Társis enviava negociantes para comprar sua grande variedade de mercadorias em troca de prata, ferro, estanho e chumbo,
13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders; ⌞in exchange for people⌟ and an object of bronze they gave you your wares.
13 e comerciantes da Grécia, de Tubal e de Meseque traziam escravos e artigos de bronze para negociar com você.
14 From Beth Togarmah they exchanged horses and war horses and mules for your wares.
14 “De Bete-Togarma vinham cavalos de montaria, cavalos para carros de guerra e mulas para serem negociados por suas mercadorias,
15 The people of Dedan were trading with you, many coastlands composed the region of your ⌞influence⌟; they brought back horns of ivory and ebony as your payment.
15 e comerciantes vinham de Dedã. Você tinha o monopólio do mercado de várias regiões litorâneas, que lhe pagavam com presas de marfim e madeira de ébano.
16 Edom was trading with you because of the abundance of your products, trading with malachite, purple wool yarn and colorful weaving, and fine white fabric and black corals and rubies; all these they exchange for your merchandise.
16 “A Síria enviava negociantes para comprar sua grande variedade de mercadorias, e em troca lhe dava turquesa, tinturas vermelhas, bordados, linho fino e joias de coral e de rubis.
17 Judah and the land of Israel were trading with you with wheat from Minnith and millet and honey and olive oil and balm; all these they gave for your wares.
17 Judá e Israel faziam comércio com você e pagavam com trigo de Minite, figos, mel, azeite e bálsamo.
18 Damascus was trading with you ⌞because of⌟ the abundance of your products, because of the abundance of all of your wealth, trading with the wine of Helbon and white wool.
18 “Damasco enviava negociantes para comprar sua grande variedade de mercadorias, e em troca lhe dava vinho de Helbom e lã de Zaar.
19 Vedan and Javan from Uzal, they exchanged wrought iron, cinnamon, and reed spice for your merchandise; all this was for your wares.
19 Gregos de Uzal vinham negociar suas mercadorias, e em troca traziam ferro trabalhado, cássia e cálamo perfumado.
20 Dedan was trading with you, with garments of woven material for riding.
20 “Dedã enviava negociantes para comercializar com você seus valiosos mantos para selas.
21 Arabia and all of the leaders of Kedar were ⌞your customers⌟; with young rams and adult rams and goats they were trading with them with you.
21 Os árabes e os príncipes de Quedar enviavam comerciantes para negociar com você e pagavam com cordeiros, carneiros e bodes.
22 The traders of Sheba and Raamah were trading with you, with the finest of every spice and with every precious stone and gold; they exchanged all these for your merchandise.
22 Negociantes de Sabá e de Ramá lhe davam especiarias de todo tipo, joias e ouro em troca de suas mercadorias.
23 Haran and Canneh and Eden, the traders of Sheba, Assyria, and Kilmad were trading with you.
23 “Harã, Cane, Éden, Sabá, Assur e Quilmade também vinham com seus negociantes.
24 They were trading with you in finery, in mantles of blue cloth and colorful embroidered work and with rugs of variegated cloth in twisted cords and knotted tightly; ⌞these were among your merchandise⌟.
24 Traziam tecidos da melhor qualidade para comercializar: tecido azul, bordados e tapetes multicoloridos enrolados e amarrados com cordões.
25 The ships of Tarshish were carrying for you your wares, and you were filled, and you became very heavy in the heart of the seas.
25 Os navios de Társis eram suas caravanas marítimas. Os depósitos em sua ilha viviam abarrotados!”
26 “ ‘Into many waters the rowers brought you; but ⌞the east wind⌟ wrecked you in the heart of the seas.
26 “Mas veja! Seus remadores a levaram para águas tempestuosas! Um poderoso vento do leste a despedaçou no coração do mar.
27 Your wealth and your merchandise, your wares, your mariners, and your seamen, your shipwrights and the barterers of your wares and all of ⌞your soldiers⌟ who are in you, along with all of your crew who are in the midst of you, they will fall in the heart of the seas on the day of your downfall.
27 Tudo se perdeu: riquezas e mercadorias, marinheiros e pilotos, construtores de navios, negociantes e guerreiros. No dia de sua ruína, todos a bordo afundam até as profundezas do mar.
28 At the sound of the shout of your seamen, the pasturelands will shake.
28 Suas cidades no litoral tremem, seus pilotos gritam de pavor.
29 And they will go down from their ships, all of those holding an oar, mariners, all of the seamen of the sea will stand on the land,
29 Todos os remadores abandonam os navios, os marinheiros e os pilotos ficam na praia.
30 and they will lament over you with their voice, and they will cry out bitterly, and they will throw dust on their heads, and they will roll in the dust.
30 Gritam por você e choram amargamente. Jogam pó sobre a cabeça e rolam em cinzas.
31 ⌞They will shave themselves bald for your sake⌟, and they will dress themselves in sackcloth, and they will weep over you with a bitterness of soul and with bitter wailing.
31 Por sua causa raspam a cabeça e se vestem de pano de saco. Choram com amarga angústia e profunda lamentação.
32 And they will raise over you with their wailing a lament, and they will chant a lament over you: ‘Who is like Tyre, like this destruction in the midst of the sea?’
32 Enquanto lamentam e choram por você, entoam este triste cântico fúnebre: ‘Acaso houve alguma cidade como Tiro, que agora está em silêncio no fundo do mar?
33 When your merchandise went out from the seas, you satisfied many peoples with the abundance of your wealth, and by your wares you made rich the kings of the world.
33 As mercadorias que você negociava pelos mares satisfaziam os desejos de muitas nações. Reis nos confins da terra se enriqueceram com seu comércio.
34 Now you are broken by seas in the depths of waters; your wares and all of your crew in the midst of you have sunk.
34 Agora você é um navio naufragado e quebrado no fundo do mar. Suas mercadorias e seus tripulantes afundaram com você.
35 All of the inhabitants of the coastlands are appalled over you, and their kings ⌞shudder⌟ in horror; ⌞they distort their faces⌟!
35 Todos que moram no litoral estão espantados com seu terrível destino. Os reis estão horrorizados e olham com expressão perturbada.
36 The traders among the peoples hiss over you; you have become a horror, and ⌞you shall be no more forever⌟!’ ”
36 Os comerciantes entre as nações balançam a cabeça quando a veem, pois você chegou a um terrível fim e não mais existirá’”.
