1 And the word of Yahweh ⌞came⌟ to me, ⌞saying⌟,
1 O Senhor falou comigo assim:
2 “Son of man, you are dwelling in the midst of the house of rebellion ⌞who has eyes to see and they do not see⌟; ⌞they have ears to hear⌟, and they do not hear, for they are a house of rebellion.
2 — Homem mortal , você está vivendo no meio de um povo desobediente. Eles têm olhos, mas não veem nada; têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem nada, pois são rebeldes.
3 And you, son of man, prepare for yourself the baggage of an exile, and go into exile by day before their eyes. And you must go into exile from your place to another place before their eyes; perhaps they will see that they are a house of rebellion.
3 — Agora, homem mortal, arrume uma trouxa como se você fosse um refugiado e saia antes do cair da noite. Deixe que todos vejam que você está saindo para ir a algum lugar. Pode ser que aqueles rebeldes o vejam.
4 And you must bring out your baggage like the baggage of an exile by day before their eyes, and you must go out in the evening before their eyes like ⌞those who go into exile⌟.
4 Para que eles possam vê-lo, arrume durante o dia a sua bagagem de refugiado; e então faça com que eles vejam você partir à noitinha, como quem está indo para o cativeiro .
5 Before their eyes dig through for yourself, through the wall, and you must bring the baggage out through it.
5 Enquanto eles estiverem olhando, abra um buraco na parede da sua casa e saia por ele com a sua trouxa.
6 Before their eyes, on your shoulder, you must lift up the baggage in the dusk, and your face you must cover, so that you may not see the land, for I make you as a sign to the house of Israel.”
6 Deixe que eles o vejam pôr a trouxa nas costas e saia no escuro, com o rosto coberto, para que você não possa ver aonde vai. O que você fizer será um aviso para os israelitas.
7 And I did ⌞just as⌟ I was commanded; my baggage, like the baggage of an exile, I brought out by day, and in the evening I dug through for myself into the wall with my hand in the dusk; I brought the baggage on my shoulder; I carried it before their eyes.
7 Eu fiz o que o Senhor mandou. Naquele dia, arrumei uma bagagem como se fosse um refugiado. E naquela tarde, quando estava escurecendo, fiz com as minhas próprias mãos um buraco na parede e saí. E eles me viram quando coloquei a trouxa nas costas e fui embora.
8 And the word of Yahweh ⌞came⌟ to me in the morning, ⌞saying⌟,
8 Na manhã seguinte, o Senhor me disse:
9 “Son of man, did not they, the house of Israel, the house of rebellion, say to you, ‘What are you doing?’
9 — Homem mortal, esses israelitas rebeldes estão lhe perguntando o que você está fazendo.
10 Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “This oracle is about the prince in Jerusalem and ⌞the entire⌟ house of Israel ⌞who are among them⌟.” ’
10 Agora, diga-lhes aquilo que eu, o Senhor Deus, estou dizendo a eles. Esta mensagem é para o príncipe que governa em Jerusalém e para todo o povo que mora ali.
11 Say, ‘I am your sign, and ⌞just as⌟ I did, so will it be done to them in the exile; into captivity they will go.’
11 Diga-lhes que o que você fez é um sinal daquilo que vai acontecer com eles. Serão refugiados, serão levados para o cativeiro.
12 And the prince who is in the midst of them, on his shoulder he will carry the baggage in the dusk, and he will go out; ⌞the wall will be dug through⌟ to bring him through it; and he will cover his face so that he will not see the land with his eye.
12 O príncipe que os está governando porá a sua trouxa nas costas no escuro e escapará por um buraco aberto no muro para ele. Ele cobrirá o rosto e não verá para onde estará indo.
13 And I will spread out my net on him, and he will be captured in my hunting snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, but he will not see it, and there he will die.
13 Mas eu prepararei a minha armadilha e o apanharei nela. Depois, eu o levarei para a cidade de Babilônia, onde ele morrerá sem chegar a vê-la.
14 And all who are around him, his help and all of his troops I will scatter ⌞in every direction⌟, and I will draw the sword behind them.
14 Espalharei em todas as direções todos os que vivem em volta dele, os seus conselheiros e os seus guardas; e haverá gente procurando matá-los.
15 And they will know that I am Yahweh ⌞when I scatter them⌟ among the nations and I scatter them in the countries.
15 — Quando eu os espalhar entre as outras nações e por países estrangeiros, eles ficarão sabendo que eu sou o Senhor .
16 But I will spare from them ⌞a few men⌟ from the sword, from the famine and from the plague, so that they may tell of all their abominations among the nations to which they will go, and they will know that I am Yahweh.”
16 Deixarei alguns escaparem da guerra, da fome e das doenças, de modo que, lá no meio das nações, eles compreenderão o quanto as suas ações foram vergonhosas e reconhecerão que eu sou o Senhor .
17 And the word of Yahweh ⌞came⌟ to me, ⌞saying⌟,
17 O Senhor falou assim comigo:
18 “Son of man, you must eat your food with trembling, and your water with shuddering, and with anxiety you must drink.
18 — Homem mortal , trema de medo quando você comer e estremeça quando beber.
19 And you must say to the people of the land, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh to the inhabitants of Jerusalem about the land of Israel: “They will eat their food with anxiety and their water they will drink with horror, because their land will be desolate from its fullness because of all the violence of ⌞those who are dwelling in it⌟.
19 Diga ao povo deste país que esta é a mensagem do Senhor Deus para a gente de Jerusalém que ainda está vivendo na sua terra. Quando eles comerem, estremecerão; e, quando beberem, tremerão de medo. Tudo o que existe na terra deles será tirado, pois todos os que vivem ali são gente violenta.
20 And ⌞the inhabited cites will be desolate⌟, and the land will be a desolation, and you will know that I am Yahweh.” ’ ”
20 As cidades que agora estão cheias de gente serão destruídas, e o país vai virar um deserto. Aí eles ficarão sabendo que eu sou o Senhor .
21 And the word of Yahweh ⌞came⌟ to me, ⌞saying⌟,
21 O Senhor falou comigo assim:
22 “Son of man, what is this proverb ⌞you people have⌟ about the land of Israel, ⌞saying⌟, ‘⌞The days are prolonged⌟, and every vision has come to nothing.’
22 — Homem mortal , por que é que o povo de Israel repete este provérbio: “O tempo passa, e as profecias dão em nada”?
23 Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “I will put an end to this proverb, and they will not quote it as a proverb again in Israel.” ’ But say to them, ‘The days are near, and also the word of every vision.’
23 Agora, diga a essa gente aquilo que eu, o Senhor Deus, penso a respeito disso. Eu vou acabar com esse provérbio; ele nunca mais será repetido em Israel. Diga isto: “O tempo chegou, e o que foi dito está se cumprindo.”
24 For there will not be any longer ⌞any false vision⌟ or flattering divination in the midst of the house of Israel.
24 — Não haverá mais visões falsas nem profecias enganadoras no meio do povo de Israel.
25 For I, Yahweh, I will speak what I will speak as a word, and it will be done. It will not prolong itself any longer, for in your days, house of rebellion, I will speak a word and I will fulfill it!” ⌞declares⌟ the Lord Yahweh.
25 Eu, o Senhor , falarei, e o que eu disser acontecerá. Não haverá mais demoras. Povo rebelde, vocês ainda estarão vivos quando eu fizer o que prometi. Eu, o Senhor Deus, falei.
26 And the word of Yahweh ⌞came⌟ to me, ⌞saying⌟,
26 O Senhor me disse:
27 “Son of man, look! The house of Israel is saying, ‘The vision that he is seeing is for many days from now, and for distant times he is prophesying.’
27 — Homem mortal, os israelitas pensam que as visões que você tem e as suas profecias são a respeito de um futuro que está longe.
28 Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “None of my words will be prolonged any longer that I speak as a word, and it will be fulfilled!” ’ ” ⌞declares⌟ the Lord Yahweh.
28 Por isso, diga a eles o que eu, o Senhor Deus, estou dizendo: “Não haverá mais demoras. O que eu disse vai acontecer.” Eu, o Senhor Deus, falei.
