1 ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ ଦ୍ୱେଷାନ୍ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାଂଶ୍ଚ ଛଲାନ୍ କାପଟ୍ୟାନୀର୍ଷ୍ୟାଃ ସମସ୍ତଗ୍ଲାନିକଥାଶ୍ଚ ଦୂରୀକୃତ୍ୟ
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭିଃ ପରିତ୍ରାଣାଯ ୱୃଦ୍ଧିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ୍ୟର୍ଥଂ ନୱଜାତଶିଶୁଭିରିୱ ପ୍ରକୃତଂ ୱାଗ୍ଦୁଗ୍ଧଂ ପିପାସ୍ୟତାଂ|
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 ଯତଃ ପ୍ରଭୁ ର୍ମଧୁର ଏତସ୍ୟାସ୍ୱାଦଂ ଯୂଯଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତୱନ୍ତଃ|
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 ଅପରଂ ମାନୁଷୈରୱଜ୍ଞାତସ୍ୟ କିନ୍ତ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରେଣାଭିରୁଚିତସ୍ୟ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ୟସ୍ୟ ଜୀୱତ୍ପ୍ରସ୍ତରସ୍ୟେୱ ତସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଭୋଃ ସନ୍ନିଧିମ୍ ଆଗତା

5 ଯୂଯମପି ଜୀୱତ୍ପ୍ରସ୍ତରା ଇୱ ନିଚୀଯମାନା ଆତ୍ମିକମନ୍ଦିରଂ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟେନ ଯୀଶୁନା ଚେଶ୍ୱରତୋଷକାଣାମ୍ ଆତ୍ମିକବଲୀନାଂ ଦାନାର୍ଥଂ ପୱିତ୍ରୋ ଯାଜକୱର୍ଗୋ ଭୱଥ|
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 ଯତଃ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରେ ଲିଖିତମାସ୍ତେ, ଯଥା, ପଶ୍ୟ ପାଷାଣ ଏକୋ ଽସ୍ତି ସୀଯୋନି ସ୍ଥାପିତୋ ମଯା| ମୁଖ୍ୟକୋଣସ୍ୟ ଯୋଗ୍ୟଃ ସ ୱୃତଶ୍ଚାତୀୱ ମୂଲ୍ୟୱାନ୍| ଯୋ ଜନୋ ୱିଶ୍ୱସେତ୍ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ସ ଲଜ୍ଜାଂ ନ ଗମିଷ୍ୟତି|
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 ୱିଶ୍ୱାସିନାଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକମେୱ ସମୀପେ ସ ମୂଲ୍ୟୱାନ୍ ଭୱତି କିନ୍ତ୍ୱୱିଶ୍ୱାସିନାଂ କୃତେ ନିଚେତୃଭିରୱଜ୍ଞାତଃ ସ ପାଷାଣଃ କୋଣସ୍ୟ ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଲଂ ଭୂତ୍ୱା ବାଧାଜନକଃ ପାଷାଣଃ ସ୍ଖଲନକାରକଶ୍ଚ ଶୈଲୋ ଜାତଃ|
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 ତେ ଚାୱିଶ୍ୱାସାଦ୍ ୱାକ୍ୟେନ ସ୍ଖଲନ୍ତି ସ୍ଖଲନେ ଚ ନିଯୁକ୍ତାଃ ସନ୍ତି|
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୂଯଂ ଯେନାନ୍ଧକାରମଧ୍ୟାତ୍ ସ୍ୱକୀଯାଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟଦୀପ୍ତିମଧ୍ୟମ୍ ଆହୂତାସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଗୁଣାନ୍ ପ୍ରକାଶଯିତୁମ୍ ଅଭିରୁଚିତୋ ୱଂଶୋ ରାଜକୀଯୋ ଯାଜକୱର୍ଗଃ ପୱିତ୍ରା ଜାତିରଧିକର୍ତ୍ତୱ୍ୟାଃ ପ୍ରଜାଶ୍ଚ ଜାତାଃ|
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ଯୂଯଂ ତସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଜା ନାଭୱତ କିନ୍ତ୍ୱିଦାନୀମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଜା ଆଧ୍ୱେ| ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱମ୍ ଅନନୁକମ୍ପିତା ଅଭୱତ କିନ୍ତ୍ୱିଦାନୀମ୍ ଅନୁକମ୍ପିତା ଆଧ୍ୱେ|
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 ହେ ପ୍ରିଯତମାଃ, ଯୂଯଂ ପ୍ରୱାସିନୋ ୱିଦେଶିନଶ୍ଚ ଲୋକା ଇୱ ମନସଃ ପ୍ରାତିକୂଲ୍ୟେନ ଯୋଧିଭ୍ୟଃ ଶାରୀରିକସୁଖାଭିଲାଷେଭ୍ୟୋ ନିୱର୍ତ୍ତଧ୍ୱମ୍ ଇତ୍ୟହଂ ୱିନଯେ|
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 ଦେୱପୂଜକାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ଯୁଷ୍ମାକମ୍ ଆଚାର ଏୱମ୍ ଉତ୍ତମୋ ଭୱତୁ ଯଥା ତେ ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ୍ମକାରିଲୋକାନିୱ ପୁନ ର୍ନ ନିନ୍ଦନ୍ତଃ କୃପାଦୃଷ୍ଟିଦିନେ ସ୍ୱଚକ୍ଷୁର୍ଗୋଚରୀଯସତ୍କ୍ରିଯାଭ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଶଂସାଂ କୁର୍ୟ୍ୟୁଃ|
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 ତତୋ ହେତୋ ର୍ୟୂଯଂ ପ୍ରଭୋରନୁରୋଧାତ୍ ମାନୱସୃଷ୍ଟାନାଂ କର୍ତୃତ୍ୱପଦାନାଂ ୱଶୀଭୱତ ୱିଶେଷତୋ ଭୂପାଲସ୍ୟ ଯତଃ ସ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠଃ,

14 ଦେଶାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷାଣାଞ୍ଚ ଯତସ୍ତେ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ୍ମକାରିଣାଂ ଦଣ୍ଡଦାନାର୍ଥଂ ସତ୍କର୍ମ୍ମକାରିଣାଂ ପ୍ରଶଂସାର୍ଥଞ୍ଚ ତେନ ପ୍ରେରିତାଃ|
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 ଇତ୍ଥଂ ନିର୍ବ୍ବୋଧମାନୁଷାଣାମ୍ ଅଜ୍ଞାନତ୍ୱଂ ଯତ୍ ସଦାଚାରିଭି ର୍ୟୁଷ୍ମାଭି ର୍ନିରୁତ୍ତରୀକ୍ରିଯତେ ତଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟାଭିମତଂ|
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 ଯୂଯଂ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନା ଇୱାଚରତ ତଥାପି ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାଯା ୱେଷସ୍ୱରୂପାଂ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତାଂ ଧାରଯନ୍ତ ଇୱ ନହି କିନ୍ତ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଦାସା ଇୱ|
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ ସମାଦ୍ରିଯଧ୍ୱଂ ଭ୍ରାତୃୱର୍ଗେ ପ୍ରୀଯଧ୍ୱମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରାଦ୍ ବିଭୀତ ଭୂପାଲଂ ସମ୍ମନ୍ୟଧ୍ୱଂ|
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 ହେ ଦାସାଃ ଯୂଯଂ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣାଦରେଣ ପ୍ରଭୂନାଂ ୱଶ୍ୟା ଭୱତ କେୱଲଂ ଭଦ୍ରାଣାଂ ଦଯାଲୂନାଞ୍ଚ ନହି କିନ୍ତ୍ୱନୃଜୂନାମପି|
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 ଯତୋ ଽନ୍ୟାଯେନ ଦୁଃଖଭୋଗକାଲ ଈଶ୍ୱରଚିନ୍ତଯା ଯତ୍ କ୍ଲେଶସହନଂ ତଦେୱ ପ୍ରିଯଂ|
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 ପାପଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ଚପେଟାଘାତସହନେନ କା ପ୍ରଶଂସା? କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାଚାରଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ ଯଦ୍ ଦୁଃଖସହନଂ ତଦେୱେଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରିଯଂ|
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 ତଦର୍ଥମେୱ ଯୂଯମ୍ ଆହୂତା ଯତଃ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟୋଽପି ଯୁଷ୍ମନ୍ନିମିତ୍ତଂ ଦୁଃଖଂ ଭୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ଯୂଯଂ ଯତ୍ ତସ୍ୟ ପଦଚିହ୍ନୈ ର୍ୱ୍ରଜେତ ତଦର୍ଥଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତମେକଂ ଦର୍ଶିତୱାନ୍|
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 ସ କିମପି ପାପଂ ନ କୃତୱାନ୍ ତସ୍ୟ ୱଦନେ କାପି ଛଲସ୍ୟ କଥା ନାସୀତ୍|
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 ନିନ୍ଦିତୋ ଽପି ସନ୍ ସ ପ୍ରତିନିନ୍ଦାଂ ନ କୃତୱାନ୍ ଦୁଃଖଂ ସହମାନୋ ଽପି ନ ଭର୍ତ୍ସିତୱାନ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଥାର୍ଥୱିଚାରଯିତୁଃ ସମୀପେ ସ୍ୱଂ ସମର୍ପିତୱାନ୍|
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 ୱଯଂ ଯତ୍ ପାପେଭ୍ୟୋ ନିୱୃତ୍ୟ ଧର୍ମ୍ମାର୍ଥଂ ଜୀୱାମସ୍ତଦର୍ଥଂ ସ ସ୍ୱଶରୀରେଣାସ୍ମାକଂ ପାପାନି କ୍ରୁଶ ଊଢୱାନ୍ ତସ୍ୟ ପ୍ରହାରୈ ର୍ୟୂଯଂ ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥା ଅଭୱତ|
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 ଯତଃ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ଯୂଯଂ ଭ୍ରମଣକାରିମେଷା ଇୱାଧ୍ୱଂ କିନ୍ତ୍ୱଧୁନା ଯୁଷ୍ମାକମ୍ ଆତ୍ମନାଂ ପାଲକସ୍ୟାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷସ୍ୟ ଚ ସମୀପଂ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାୱର୍ତ୍ତିତାଃ|
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
