1 And I saw, and lo, a Lamb having stood upon the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty-four thousands, having the name of his Father written upon their foreheads;
1 Olhei, e eis que o Cordeiro estava em pé sobre o monte Sião. Com ele estavam cento e quarenta e quatro mil, que tinham escrito na testa o nome do Cordeiro e o nome de seu Pai.
2 and I heard a voice out of the heaven, as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of great thunder, and a voice I heard of harpers harping with their harps,
2 Ouvi uma voz do céu como som de muitas águas, como som de um forte trovão. A voz que ouvi era como de harpistas quando tocam as suas harpas.
3 and they sing, as it were, a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders, and no one was able to learn the song except the hundred forty-four thousands, who have been bought from the earth;
3 Entoavam um cântico novo diante do trono, diante dos quatro seres viventes e dos anciãos. E ninguém podia aprender o cântico, senão os cento e quarenta e quatro mil que foram comprados da terra.
4 these are they who with women were not defiled, for they are virgin; these are they who are following the Lamb whithersoever he may go; these were bought from among men -- a first-fruit to God and to the Lamb --
4 Estes são os que não se macularam com mulheres, porque são virgens. Eles seguem o Cordeiro por onde quer que ele vá. São os que foram comprados dentre todos os seres humanos, primícias para Deus e para o Cordeiro;
5 and in their mouth there was not found guile, for unblemished are they before the throne of God.
5 e não se achou mentira na sua boca; não têm mácula.
6 And I saw another messenger flying in mid-heaven, having good news age-during to proclaim to those dwelling upon the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people,
6 Vi outro anjo voando pelo meio do céu, tendo um evangelho eterno para pregar aos que habitam na terra, e a cada nação, tribo, língua e povo,
7 saying in a great voice, 'Fear you God, and give to Him glory, because come did the hour of His judgment, and bow you before Him who did make the heaven, and the land, and sea, and fountains of waters.'
7 dizendo com voz forte: — Temam a Deus e deem glória a ele, pois é chegada a hora em que ele vai julgar. E adorem aquele que fez o céu, a terra, o mar e as fontes das águas.
8 And another messenger did follow, saying, 'Fall, fall, did Babylon, the great city, because of the wine of the wrath of her whoredom she has given to all nations to drink.'
8 Seguiu-se outro anjo, o segundo, dizendo: — Caiu! Caiu a grande Babilônia que fez com que todas as nações bebessem o vinho do furor da sua prostituição.
9 And a third messenger did follow them, saying in a great voice, 'If any one the beast does bow before, and his image, and does receive a mark upon his forehead, or upon his hand,
9 Seguiu-se a estes outro anjo, o terceiro, dizendo com voz forte: — Se alguém adora a besta e a sua imagem e recebe a sua marca na testa ou na mão,
10 he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, that has been mingled unmixed in the cup of His anger, and he shall be tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy messengers, and before the Lamb,
10 também esse beberá do vinho do furor de Deus, preparado, sem mistura, no cálice da sua ira, e será atormentado com fogo e enxofre, diante dos santos anjos e na presença do Cordeiro.
11 and the smoke of their torment does go up to ages of ages; and they have no rest day and night, who are bowing before the beast and his image, also if any does receive the mark of his name.
11 A fumaça do seu tormento sobe para todo o sempre. E os adoradores da besta e da sua imagem e quem quer que receba a marca do nome da besta não têm descanso algum, nem de dia nem de noite.
12 Here is endurance of the saints: here are those keeping the commands of God, and the faith of Jesus.'
12 Aqui está a perseverança dos santos, os que guardam os mandamentos de Deus e a fé em Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, 'Write: Happy are the dead who in the Lord are dying from this time!' 'Yes, (says the Spirit,) That they may rest from their labours -- and their works do follow them!'
13 Então ouvi uma voz do céu, dizendo: — Escreva: “Bem-aventurados os mortos que, desde agora, morrem no Senhor.” — Sim — diz o Espírito —, para que descansem das suas fadigas, pois as suas obras os acompanham.
14 And I saw, and lo, a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sitting like to a son of man, having upon his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle;
14 Olhei, e eis uma nuvem branca, e sentado sobre a nuvem um semelhante a filho de homem, tendo na cabeça uma coroa de ouro e na mão uma foice afiada.
15 and another messenger did come forth out of the sanctuary crying in a great voice to him who is sitting upon the cloud, 'Send forth your sickle and reap, because come to you has the hour of reaping, because ripe has been the harvest of the earth;'
15 Outro anjo saiu do santuário, gritando com voz forte para aquele que estava sentado sobre a nuvem: — Pegue a sua foice e comece a colher, pois chegou a hora da colheita, visto que os campos da terra já amadureceram!
16 and he who is sitting upon the cloud did put forth his sickle upon the earth, and the earth was reaped.
16 E aquele que estava sentado sobre a nuvem passou a sua foice sobre a terra e fez a colheita.
17 And another messenger did come forth out of the sanctuary that is in the heaven, having -- he also -- a sharp sickle,
17 Então outro anjo saiu do santuário que se encontra no céu, tendo também ele uma foice afiada.
18 and another messenger did come forth out from the altar, having authority over the fire, and he called with a great cry to him having the sharp sickle, saying, 'Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, because come to perfection have her grapes;'
18 Ainda outro anjo saiu do altar, o anjo que tem autoridade sobre o fogo, e clamou com voz forte ao que tinha a foice afiada, dizendo: — Pegue a sua foice afiada e ajunte os cachos da videira da terra, porque as suas uvas estão maduras!
19 and the messenger did put forth his sickle to the earth, and did gather the vine of the earth, and did cast it to the great wine-press of the wrath of God;
19 Então o anjo passou a sua foice na terra, ajuntou os cachos da videira da terra e os lançou no grande lagar da ira de Deus.
20 and trodden was the wine-press outside of the city, and blood did come forth out of the wine-press -- unto the bridles of the horses, a thousand, six hundred furlongs.
20 O lagar foi pisado fora da cidade. E correu sangue do lagar, chegando até a altura dos freios dos cavalos, numa extensão de cerca de trezentos quilômetros.
