1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:

2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 и послал рабов своих звать званых на брачный пир ; и не хотели придти .
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Опять послал других рабов , сказав : скажите званым : " вот , я приготовил обед мой
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Но они , пренебрегши то , пошли
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.

6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Услышав о сем
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Тогда говорит он рабам своим :
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 итак пойдите на распутия и всех , кого найдете , зовите на брачный пир ".
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 И рабы те , выйдя на дороги , собрали всех , кого только нашли , и злых и добрых ; и брачный пир наполнился возлежащими .
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.

11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 и говорит ему : " друг ! как ты вошел сюда не в брачной одежде ?" Он же молчал .
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Тогда сказал царь слугам : " связав ему руки и ноги , возьмите его и бросьте во тьму внешнюю ; там будет плач и скрежет зубов ";
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 ибо много званых , а мало избранных .
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 покажите Мне монету , которою платится подать .
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 — ausente —
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 — ausente —
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 — ausente —
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 — ausente —
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 — ausente —
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 — ausente —
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 ибо в воскресении ни женятся , ни выходят замуж , но пребывают , как Ангелы Божии на небесах .
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 А о воскресении мертвых не читали ли вы реченного вам Богом :
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 " Я Бог Авраама , и Бог Исаака , и Бог Иакова
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.

34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 — ausente —
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 — ausente —
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 — ausente —
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 сия есть первая и наибольшая заповедь ;
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 вторая же подобная ей : " возлюби ближнего твоего , как самого себя ";
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 на сих двух заповедях утверждается весь закон и пророки .
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Когда
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 что вы думаете о Христе ? чей Он сын ?
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!

43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 " сказал Господь Господу моему : седи одесную Меня , доколе положу врагов Твоих в подножие ног Твоих ?"
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Итак , если Давид называет Его Господом , как же Он сын ему ?
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 — ausente —
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
