1 A Song of Ascents.
1 Canção gradual. Quando o SENHOR trouxe do cativeiro os que voltaram a Sião, estávamos como aqueles que sonham.
2 When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.
2 Então a nossa boca se encheu de riso e a nossa língua de cântico; então disseram entre os pagãos: O SENHOR fez grandes coisas por eles.
3 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them."
3 O SENHOR fez grandes coisas por nós, pelas quais estamos alegres.
4 The LORD has done great things for us; we are glad.
4 Traze-nos outra vez do nosso cativeiro, ó SENHOR, como os córregos do sul.
5 Restore our fortunes, O LORD, like the watercourses in the Negeb!
5 Aqueles que semeiam em lágrimas colherão com alegria.
6 May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy! [ (Psalms 126:7) He that goes forth weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him. ]
6 Aquele que vai adiante e chora, carregando sementes preciosas, voltará sem dúvida com regozijo, trazendo seus molhos consigo.
