1 A Song. A Psalm of David.
1 Firme está o meu coração, ó Deus! Cantarei e entoarei louvores de toda a minha alma.
2 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody! Awake, my soul!
2 Acordem, lira e harpa! Quero acordar o alvorecer.
3 Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!
3 Eu te darei graças entre os povos, ó Cantarei louvores a ti entre as nações.
4 I will give thanks to thee, O LORD, among the peoples, I will sing praises to thee among the nations.
4 Porque a tua misericórdia se eleva acima dos céus, e a tua fidelidade, até as nuvens.
5 For thy steadfast love is great above the heavens, thy faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
5 Sê exaltado, ó Deus, acima dos céus; e em toda a terra brilhe a tua glória.
6 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let thy glory be over all the earth!
6 Para que os teus amados sejam livres, salva-nos com a tua mão direita e responde-nos.
7 That thy beloved may be delivered, give help by thy right hand, and answer me!
7 Deus falou na sua santidade: “Exultarei; dividirei Siquém e medirei o vale de Sucote.
8 God has promised in his sanctuary: "With exultation I will divide up Shechem, and portion out the Vale of Succoth.
8 Gileade é meu e meu é também Manassés; Efraim é o meu capacete; Judá é o meu cetro.
9 Gilead is mine; Manas'seh is mine; E'phraim is my helmet; Judah my scepter.
9 Moabe, porém, é a minha bacia de lavar; sobre Edom atirarei a minha sandália; sobre a Filístia jubilarei.”
10 Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph."
10 Quem me conduzirá à cidade fortificada? Quem me guiará até Edom?
11 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
11 Não nos rejeitaste, ó Deus? Tu não sais, ó Deus, com os nossos exércitos!
12 Hast thou not rejected us, O God? Thou dost not go forth, O God, with our armies.
12 Presta-nos auxílio na angústia, pois vão é o socorro humano.
13 O grant us help against the foe, for vain is the help of man! [ (Psalms 108:14) With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes. ]
13 Em Deus faremos proezas, porque ele mesmo pisará os nossos adversários.
