1 The allotment of the descendants of Joseph went from the Jordan by Jericho, east of the waters of Jericho, into the wilderness, going up from Jericho into the hill country to Bethel;
1 E a sorte dos filhos de José caiu, desde o Jordão, junto a Jericó, até as águas de Jericó a leste, até o deserto que vai desde Jericó através do monte Betel,
2 then going from Bethel to Luz, it passes along to At'aroth, the territory of the Archites;
2 e sai de Betel até Luz, e passa até os limites dos arquitas, até Atarote,
3 then it goes down westward to the territory of the Japh'letites, as far as the territory of Lower Beth-hor'on, then to Gezer, and it ends at the sea.
3 e desce, em direção oeste, até a costa de Jaflete, até a costa inferior de Bete-Horom, e a Gezer; e as suas saídas ficavam no mar.
4 The people of Joseph, Manas'seh and E'phraim, received their inheritance.
4 Assim, os filhos de José, Manassés e Efraim, assumiram a sua herança.
5 The territory of the E'phraimites by their families was as follows: the boundary of their inheritance on the east was At'aroth-ad'dar as far as Upper Beth-hor'on,
5 E o limite dos filhos de Efraim, segundo as suas famílias, foi assim: o limite da sua herança no lado leste era Atarote-Adar, até a alta Bete-Horom;
6 and the boundary goes thence to the sea; on the north is Mich-me'thath; then on the east the boundary turns round toward Ta'anath-shi'loh, and passes along beyond it on the east to Jan-o'ah,
6 e o limite saía em direção ao mar, até Micmetate, no lado norte; e o limite seguia na direção leste até Taanate-Siló, e passava por ela a leste em direção a Janoa;
7 then it goes down from Jan-o'ah to At'aroth and to Na'arah, and touches Jericho, ending at the Jordan.
7 e ele descia de Janoa a Atarote, e a Naarate, e vinha até Jericó, e saía até o Jordão.
8 From Tap'puah the boundary goes westward to the brook Kanah, and ends at the sea. Such is the inheritance of the tribe of the E'phraimites by their families,
8 O limite saía de Tapua, em direção oeste, até o rio Caná; e as suas saídas ficavam no mar. Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Efraim, segundo as suas famílias.
9 together with the towns which were set apart for the E'phraimites within the inheritance of the Manas'sites, all those towns with their villages.
9 E as cidades separadas para os filhos de Efraim ficavam no meio da herança dos filhos de Manassés, todas as cidades com as suas aldeias.
10 However they did not drive out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: so the Canaanites have dwelt in the midst of E'phraim to this day but have become slaves to do forced labor.
10 E eles não expulsaram os cananeus que habitavam em Gezer; mas os cananeus habitam no meio dos efraimitas até este dia, e servem sob tributo.
