1 And once more the messenger who was speaking with me, roused me up, just as a man might be roused up out of his sleep.
1 Depois o anjo que falava comigo tornou a despertar-me, como se desperta alguém do sono,
2 Then said he unto me, What canst thou see? And I saidI have looked, and lo! a Lampstandall of gold, with the Bowl thereof upon the top thereof, and its Seven Lamps upon it, Seven Pipes each, to the lamps which are upon the top thereof;
2 e me perguntou: "O que você está vendo? " Respondi: "Vejo um candelabro de ouro maciço com um recipiente para azeite na parte superior e sete lâmpadas e sete canos para as lâmpadas.
3 and, Two Olive-trees, by it,one upon the right hand of the bowl, and one upon the left hand thereof.
3 Há também duas oliveiras junto ao recipiente, uma à direita e outra à esquerda".
4 Then responded I, and said unto the messenger who was speaking with me, saying,What are these, my lord?
4 Perguntei ao anjo que falava comigo: "O que significa isto, meu senhor? "
5 Then answered the messenger who was speaking with me, and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these, are? And I said, No my lord.
5 Ele disse: "Você não sabe? " "Não, meu senhor", respondi.
6 Then responded he, and spake unto me, saying, This, is the word of Yahweh, unto Zerubbabel, saying,Not by wealth, nor by strength, but by my spirit, saith Yahweh of hosts.
6 "Esta é a palavra do Senhor para Zorobabel: ‘Não por força nem por violência, mas pelo meu Espírito’, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos.
7 Who, art, thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel, to a plain! So shall he bring forth the headstone, with thundering shouts Beautiful! Beautiful! thereunto.
7 "Quem você pensa que é, ó montanha majestosa? Diante de Zorobabel você se tornará uma planície. Ele colocará a pedra principal aos gritos de ‘Deus abençoe! Deus abençoe! ’ "
8 Then came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying:
8 Então o Senhor me falou:
9 The hands of Zerubbabel, have founded this house, and, his hands, shall finish it,So shalt thou know that, Yahweh of hosts, hath sent me unto you.
9 "As mãos de Zorobabel colocacaram os fundamentos deste templo; suas mãos também o terminarão. Assim saberão que o Senhor dos Exércitos me enviou a vocês.
10 For who hath despised the day of small things? Yet shall they rejoice, when they see the plummet-stone in the hand of Zerubbabel,these seven! The eyes of Yahweh, they arerunning to and fro throughout all the earth.
10 "Pois aqueles que desprezaram o dia das pequenas coisas terão grande alegria ao verem a pedra principal nas mãos de Zorobabel". Então ele me disse: "Estas sete lâmpadas são os olhos do Senhor, que sondam toda a terra".
11 Then responded I, and said unto him,What are these two olive-trees, upon the right of the lampstand, and upon the left thereof?
11 A seguir perguntei ao anjo: "O que significam estas duas oliveiras à direita e à esquerda do candelabro? "
12 And I responded a second time, and said unto him,What are the two branches of the olive- trees which join the two golden tubes, which empty out of them the golden oil?
12 E perguntei também: "O que significam estes dois ramos de oliveira ao lado dos dois tubos de ouro que derramam azeite dourado? "
13 And he spake unto me, saying, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.
13 Ele disse: "Você não sabe? " "Não, meu senhor", respondi.
14 Then said he, These, are the two Anointed Ones,who stand near the Lord of all the earth.
14 Então ele me disse: "São os dois homens que foram ungidos para servir ao Soberano de toda a terra! "
