¹ Now, these, are the priests and the Levites, who came up with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua,Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra;

¹ Ora, estes são os sacerdotes e os levitas que subiram com Zorobabel, o filho de Sealtiel, e Jesuá: Seraías, Jeremias, Esdras,

² Amariah, Malluch, Hattush;

⁴ Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah;

⁴ Ido, Ginetoi, Abias,

⁵ Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah;

⁵ Miamim, Maadias, Bilga,

⁶ Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah;

⁷ Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah,these, were the chiefs of the priests and their brethren, in the days of Jeshua.

⁷ Salu, Amoque, Hilquias e Jedaías. Estes foram os chefes dos sacerdotes e dos seus irmãos nos dias de Jesuá.

⁸ And, the Levites, Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah,over the choirs, he and his brethren;

⁸ Além disso, os levitas: Jesuá, Binui, Cadmiel, Serebias, Judá e Matanias que com seus irmãos estavam encarregados de dar graças.

⁹ and Bakbukiah and Unno their brethren, were over against them, in wards.

¹⁰ And Jeshua, begat Joiakim,and Joiakim, begat Eliashib, and, Eliashib, Joiada;

¹¹ and, Joiada, begat Jonathan,and, Jonathan, begat Jaddua.

¹² And, in the days of Joiakim, were priests, ancestral chiefs,of Seraiah, Meraiah, of Jeremiah, Hananiah;

¹² E nos dias de Joiaquim foram sacerdotes, os chefes dos pais; de Seraías, Meraías; de Jeremias, Hananias;

¹³ of Ezra, Meshullam,of Amariah, Jehohanan;

¹⁸ of Bilgah, Shammua,of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;

¹⁸ de Bilga, Samua; de Semaías, Jônatas;

¹⁹ and, of Joiarib, Mattenai,of Jedaiah, Uzzi;

¹⁹ e de Joiaribe, Matenai; de Jedaías, Uzi;

²⁰ of Sallai, Kallai,of Amok, Eber;

²⁰ de Salai, Calai; de Amoque, Héber;

²¹ of Hilkiah, Hashabiah,of Jedaiah, Nethanel.

²¹ de Hilquias, Hasabias; de Jedaías, Netanel.

²² The Levitesin the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded as ancestral chiefs,also the priests, unto the reign of Darius the Persian.

²² Dos levitas nos dias de Eliasibe, Joiada, e Jonã, e Jadua, foram registrados chefes dos pais; também os sacerdotes, para o reinado de Dario, o persa.

²³ the sons of Levi, ancestral heads, were written in the book of Chronicles,even until the days of Johanan, son of Eliashib.

²³ Os filhos de Levi, os chefes dos pais, estavam escritos no livro das Crônicas, até os dias de Joanã, o filho de Eliasibe.

²⁴ And, the chiefs of the Levites, Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praiseto give thanks, by the commandment of David the man of God,ward joined to ward.

²⁴ E o chefe dos levitas: Hasabias, Serebias e Jesuá, o filho de Cadmiel, com os seus irmãos diante deles, para louvar e dar graças, segundo o mandamento de Davi, o homem de Deus, guarda contra guarda.

²⁵ Mattaniah and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were watchers, doorkeepers of the ward, in the storehouses of the gates.

²⁵ Matanias, Baquebuquias, Obadias, Mesulão, Talmom e Acube, foram porteiros mantendo a guarda nas soleiras dos portões.

²⁶ These, were in the days of Joiakim, son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak,and in the days of Nehemiah the pasha, and Ezra the priest the scribe.

²⁶ Estes foram nos dias de Joaquim, o filho de Jesuá, o filho de Jozadaque, e nos dias de Neemias, o governador, e do sacerdote Esdras, o escriba.

²⁷ And, at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites, out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem,to keep the dedication and the rejoicing, both with thanksgiving and with music, cymbals, harps, and with lyres.

²⁷ E na dedicação da muralha de Jerusalém eles buscaram os levitas de todos os seus lugares, para trazê-los a Jerusalém, para celebrar a dedicação com alegria, com ações de graças, e com cânticos, com címbalos, saltérios e com harpas.

²⁸ So the sons of the singers gathered themselves together,both out of the circuit round about Jerusalem, and out of the villages of the Netophathites;

²⁸ E os filhos dos cantores se reuniram, tanto da planície ao redor de Jerusalém, quando das aldeias de Netofatitas;

²⁹ also out of Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba, and Azmaveth,for, villages, had the singers builded for themselves, round about Jerusalem.

²⁹ também da casa de Gilgal, e dos campos de Gibeá e Azmavete; porquanto os cantores tinham edificado para si aldeias ao redor de Jerusalém.

³⁰ And the priests and the Levites purified themselves,and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.

³⁰ E os sacerdotes e os levitas se purificaram, e purificaram o povo, e os portões, e a muralha.

³¹ Then brought I up the rulers of Judah upon the wall,and I appointed two large choirs, even to go in procession to the right, upon the wall, towards the dung-gate;

³¹ Então, eu trouxe os príncipes de Judá ao alto da muralha, e constituí duas grandes companhias para dar graças, das quais uma seguiu pelo lado direito da muralha em direção ao portão do esterco;

³² and after them went Hoshaiah, and half the rulers of Judah;

³² e depois deles, vieram Hosaías, e a metade dos príncipes de Judá,

³³ then Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam;

³³ e Azarias, Esdras, Mesulão,

³⁴ Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;

³⁴ Judá, e Benjamim, e Semaías e Jeremias,

³⁵ and, of the sons of the priests, with trumpets, Zechariahson of Jonathanson of Shemaiahson of Mattaniah, son of Micaiah, son of Zaccur, son of Asaph;

³⁵ e alguns dos filhos dos sacerdotes com trombetas; a saber, Zacarias, o filho de Jônatas, o filho de Semaías, o filho de Matanias, o filho de Micaías, o filho de Zacur, o filho de Asafe;

³⁶ and his brethrenShemaiah and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the instruments of music of David, the man of God,with Ezra the scribe before them;

³⁶ e os seus irmãos, Semaías, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Netanel, Judá e Hanani, com os instrumentos musicais de Davi, o homem de Deus, e Esdras, o escriba, adiante deles.

³⁷ and, over they fountain gate and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall,above the house of David, even as far as the water-gate, eastward.

³⁷ E na porta da fonte, a qual estava defronte deles, subiram as escadas da cidade de Davi, onde começa a subida da muralha, desde cima da casa de Davi, até o portão das águas na parte leste.

³⁸ And, the second choir, was going over against them, I, following it,with the half of the people upon the wall, above the tower of the ovens, even as far as the broad wall;

³⁸ E a outra companhia que dava graças seguia em direção a eles, e eu depois deles, e a metade do povo sobre a muralha, desde além da torre das fornalhas até a muralha larga;

³⁹ and above the gate of Ephraim, and upon the old gate, and upon the fish-gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even as far as the sheep-gate,and they came to a stand, at the gate of the guard.

³⁹ e do alto do portão de Efraim, e do alto do portão velho, e do alto do portão do peixe, e da torre de Hananeel, e da torre de Meá, até o portão das ovelhas; e eles pararam no portão da prisão.

⁴⁰ So the two choirs, came to a stand, at the house of God,and I, and half the deputies with me;

⁴⁰ Assim se puseram em pé as duas companhias que davam graças na casa de Deus, como também eu, e a metade dos governantes comigo,

⁴¹ and, the priestsEliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;

⁴¹ e os sacerdotes: Eliaquim, Maaseias, Miniamim, Micaías, Elioenai, Zacarias e Hananias, com as trombetas;

⁴² and Maaseiah and Shemaiah and Eleazar and Uzzi and Jehohanan and Malchijah and Elam and Ezer,and the musicians sounded, aloud with Jezrahiah who was over them.

⁴² e Maaseias, e Semaías, e Eleazar, e Uzi, e Joanã, e Malquias, e Elão, e Ezer. E os cantores cantaram em voz alta, com Jezraías, o seu supervisor.

⁴³ And they sacrificed, on that day, great sacrifices, and rejoiced, for, God, had caused them to rejoice with great joy, moreover also, the women and children, rejoiced,so that the rejoicing of Jerusalem was heard afar off.

⁴³ Além disso, naquele dia eles ofereceram grandes sacrifícios, e se regozijaram; porque Deus havia feito com que eles se regozijassem com grande alegria; também as esposas e os filhos se regozijaram; de modo que a alegria de Jerusalém se ouviu de longe.

⁴⁴ And there were sot in charge, on that day, certain men, over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, out of the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law, for the priests, and for the Levites,for, the joy of Judah, was over the priests and over the Levites, who were remaining.

⁴⁴ E, naquele tempo, alguns foram indicados sobre as câmaras para os tesouros, para as ofertas, para os primeiros frutos, e para os dízimos, para nelas ajuntar, dos campos das cidades, as porções da lei para os sacerdotes e levitas; porque Judá se regozijava pelos sacerdotes e pelos levitas que serviam.

⁴⁵ So they kept the charge of their God, and the charge of the purification, and the singers and the doorkeepers,according to the commandment of David and his son.

⁴⁵ E, tanto os cantores, como os porteiros, mantinham a guarda do seu Deus, e a guarda da purificação, de acordo com o mandamento de Davi, e de seu filho Salomão.

⁴⁶ For, in the days of David and Asaph, of old, there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving, unto God.

⁴⁶ Porque nos dias de Davi e Asafe, desde a antiguidade, havia chefes dos cantores, e cânticos de louvor e ações de graças a Deus.

⁴⁷ Now, all Israelin the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, used to give the portions of the singers and the doorkeepers, the need of a day upon its day,and they hallowed them unto the Levites, and, the Levites, hallowed them unto the sons of Aaron.

⁴⁷ E todo o Israel, nos dias de Zorobabel, e nos dias de Neemias, davam aos cantores e aos porteiros as porções de cada dia; e eles santificavam coisas santas aos levitas; e os levitas as santificavam para os filhos de Arão.
