1 Then sang Deborah, and Barak, son of Abinoam,on that day, saying:
1 Naquele dia, cantaram Débora e Baraque, filho de Abinoão, dizendo:
2 For the leadership of leaders in Israel, For the volunteering of the people,Bless ye Yahweh!
2 Desde que os chefes se puseram à frente de Israel, e o povo se ofereceu voluntariamente, bendizei ao
3 Hear, ye kings! Give ear, ye princes! I, unto Yahweh,I, will sing, Will make melody to Yahweh, God of Israel.
3 Ouvi, reis, dai ouvidos, príncipes: eu, eu mesma cantarei ao salmodiarei ao
4 O Yahweh! When thou didst come forth out of Seir, When thou didst march along out of the field of Edom, Earth, trembled, Heaven also, poured forth,Yea, dark clouds, poured forth waters;
4 Saindo tu, ó Senhor , de Seir, marchando desde o campo de Edom, a terra estremeceu; os céus gotejaram, sim, até as nuvens gotejaram águas.
5 From, mountains, came down streams In presence of Yahweh,From this Sinai, In presence of Yahweh, God of Israel.
5 Os montes vacilaram diante do Senhor , e até o Sinai, diante do
6 In the days of Shamgar son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the roads were forsaken,and, the frequenters of highways, betook them to roundabout paths:
6 Nos dias de Sangar, filho de Anate, nos dias de Jael, cessaram as caravanas; e os viajantes tomavam desvios tortuosos.
7 There was a failure of rulers, in Israel, a failure,until I arose, a Deborah, arose, a mother in Israel:
7 Ficaram desertas as aldeias em Israel, repousaram, até que eu, Débora, me levantei, levantei-me por mãe em Israel.

11 In the place of the noise of bowmen among the wells, there, laud yethe righteous acts of Yahweh, the righteous acts of his rule over Israel. Then, had come down to the gates the people of Yahweh.
11 À música dos distribuidores de água, lá entre os canais dos rebanhos, falai dos atos de justiça do das justiças a prol de suas aldeias em Israel. Então, o povo do pôde descer ao seu lar.
12 Awake! awake! Deborah, Awake! awake! utter words of song,Arise! Barak, and bind fast thy captives, O son of Abinoam!

14 De Efraim, cujas raízes estão na antiga região de Amaleque, desceram guerreiros; depois de ti, ó Débora, seguiu Benjamim com seus povos; de Maquir desceram comandantes, e, de Zebulom, os que levam a vara de comando.
15 And, my princes in Issachar, were with Deborah, yea, Issachar, was the support of Barak, Into the vale rushed they forth at his feet. Among the divisions of Reuben, great were the resolves of the heart:
15 Também os príncipes de Issacar foram com Débora; Issacar seguiu a Baraque, em cujas pegadas foi enviado para o vale. Entre as facções de Rúben houve grande discussão.

19 On came kings, they fought, Then, fought the kings of Canaan, In Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo,Plunder of silver, they took not away!
19 Vieram reis e pelejaram; pelejaram os reis de Canaã em Taanaque, junto às águas de Megido; porém não levaram nenhum despojo de prata.
20 From heaven, was the battle fought,The stars in their courses, fought against Sisera.
20 Desde os céus pelejaram as estrelas contra Sísera, desde a sua órbita o fizeram.
21 The torrent of Kishon, swept them away, the torrent of olden times, the torrent of Kishon! Let my soul march along, with victorious strength!
21 O ribeiro Quisom os arrastou, Quisom, o ribeiro das batalhas. Avante, ó minha alma, firme!
22 Then, stamped hoofs of horses, With the gallopings, gallopings of his mighty steeds.
22 Então, as unhas dos cavalos socavam pelo galopar, o galopar dos seus guerreiros.
23 Curse ye Meroz, saith the messenger of Yahweh, Curse ye with a curse, the inhabitants thereof,because they came not in to the help of Yahweh, to the help of Yahweh, against the mighty.
23 Amaldiçoai a Meroz, diz o Anjo do Senhor , amaldiçoai duramente os seus moradores, porque não vieram em socorro do em socorro do
24 Blessed above women, shall be Jael, wife of Heber the Kenite,Above women in the tent, be blessed:
24 Bendita seja sobre as mulheres Jael, mulher de Héber, o queneu; bendita seja sobre as mulheres que vivem em tendas.

25 Água pediu ele, leite lhe deu ela; em taça de príncipes lhe ofereceu nata.

26 À estaca estendeu a mão e, ao maço dos trabalhadores, a direita; e deu o golpe em Sísera, rachou-lhe a cabeça, furou e traspassou-lhe as fontes.
27 Between her feet, he bowedhe fell, he lay,Between her feet, he bowedhe fell, Where he bowed, There, he felldestroyed!
27 Aos pés dela se encurvou, caiu e ficou estirado; a seus pés se encurvou e caiu; onde se encurvou, ali caiu morto.
28 Through the window, looked out and shrilly cried, The mother of Sisera, through the lattice,Why is his chariot ashamed to come? Why delay the wheels of his chariot?
28 A mãe de Sísera olhava pela janela e exclamava pela grade: Por que tarda em vir o seu carro? Por que se demoram os passos dos seus cavalos?
29 The wise ladies, her princesses, responded,Nay! she, returned answer to, herself:
29 As mais sábias das suas damas respondem, e até ela a si mesma respondia:
30 Is it not They keep findingdividing spoil, One damsel, two damsels, to every several hero, Spoil, of divers coloured raiment for Sisera, Spoil, of divers coloured raiment, embroidered, Coloured raiment richly embroidered, on the necks of them who are taken as spoil?
30 Porventura, não achariam e repartiriam despojos? Uma ou duas moças, a cada homem? Para Sísera, estofos de várias cores, estofos de várias cores de bordados; um ou dois estofos bordados, para o pescoço da esposa?
31 So, perish all thine enemies, O Yahweh, But be, they who love him, as the going forth of the sun, in his might! And the land had rest forty years.
31 Assim, ó Senhor , pereçam todos os teus inimigos! Porém os que te amam brilham como o sol quando se levanta no seu esplendor. E a terra ficou em paz quarenta anos.
