1 Hear ye thisO house of Jacob, Ye who call yourselves by the name of Israel, Yea from the waters of Judah, came they forth,Who swear by the name of Yahweh, And, by the God of Israel, call to remembranceNot in truth, nor in righteousness;
1 Ouvi vós isto, ó casa de Jacó, que sois chamados pelo nome de Israel e emergis das águas de Judá, que jurais pelo nome do SENHOR e fazeis menção do Deus de Israel, porém não em verdade, nem em justiça.
2 For of the holy city, do they call themselves, And on the God of Israel, do they stay themselves,Yahweh of hosts, is his name.
2 Porque eles chamam a si mesmos de cidade santa e se fazem firmes no Deus de Israel: O SENHOR dos Exércitos é seu nome.
3 Things in advance, of old, I declared, Yea out of mine own mouth, came they forth, that I might let them be known,Suddenly, I wrought and they came to pass.
3 Eu tenho declarado as coisas anteriores desde o início, e elas foram proferidas pela minha boca e eu as mostrei. Eu atuei de repente e elas aconteceram.
4 Because I knew thatObstinate, thou wast,And, a sinew of iron, was thy neck, And thy brow, brazen,
4 Porque eu sabia que tu és obstinado e teu pescoço é um tendão de ferro e tua fronte bronze.
5 therefore told I theein time past, Ere yet it came, I let thee hear,Lest thou shouldest say Mine idol wrought them, Yea, my carved image and my molten image, commanded them!
5 Eu tenho declarado exatamente desde o início isto a ti, antes que isto ocorresse eu te mostrei, para prevenir qualquer possibilidade de que tu fosses dizer: Meu ídolo tem feito isto, e minha imagem esculpida e minha imagem fundida tem ordenado estes fatos.
6 Thou hast heardsee it whole, And will, ye, not tell? I have let thee hear new thingsfrom the present time, Even secrets which ye knew not.
6 Tu tens ouvido, e visto tudo isto, e não ireis vós declará-lo? Eu tenho te mostrado novas coisas deste tempo, coisas ocultas e tu não as conheceste.
7 Now, are they created, and not in time past, And, before to-day, thou hadst not heard of them,Lest thou shouldest say, Lo! I knew them!
7 Elas são criadas agora e não desde o princípio; antes do dia em que tu não ouviste a respeito delas, para prevenir qualquer possibilidade de que tu pudesses dizer: Eis que eu as conhecia.
8 Nay! thou hadst not heard, Nay! thou hadst not known, Nay! in time past, thine ear, was not opened,For I knew that thou, wouldst be treacherous, Yea a transgressor from birth, hast thou been called.
8 Sim, tu não ouviste. Sim, tu não conheceste. Sim, desde aquele tempo em que teu ouvido não estava aberto. Porquanto eu sabia que tu te comportarias muito traiçoeiramente, e foste chamado um transgressor, desde o útero.
9 For the sake of mine own Name, will I defer mine anger, And for my praise, will I restrain myself towards thee,So as not to cut thee off.
9 Por amor do meu Nome eu adiarei minha ira; e por meu louvor eu me conterei por ti, para que eu não te extermine.
10 Lo! I have refined thee, but not as silver,I have tested thee, in a smelting-pot of affliction.
10 Eis que eu tenho te refinado, mas não como a prata. Eu te tenho provado dentro da fornalha da aflição.
11 For mine own sakefor mine own sake, will I effectually work For how should it be profaned? And, my gloryto another, will I not give.
11 Por amor de mim mesmo, por amor de mim mesmo, eu farei isto. Pois como meu nome deveria ser profanado? E eu não darei minha glória a outro.
12 Hearken unto me O Jacob, And Israel, my called one,I, am, the Same I, the first, yea, I, the last:
12 Escuta-me, ó Jacó e Israel, meu chamado. Eu Sou Ele. Eu sou o primeiro, também sou o último.
13 Surely, mine own hand, founded the earth, And, my right hand, stretched out the heavens,While I was calling unto them, they stood forth, at once
13 Minha mão também tem colocado o alicerce da terra e minha mão direita tem medido os céus. Quando eu os chamo eles se levantam juntamente.
14 Assemble yourselvesall of you and hear, Who among them, hath told these things? he whom Yahweh loveth, will executeHis pleasure, on Babylon, And his stroke on the Chaldeans.
14 Todos vós, congregai-vos e ouvi. Quem dentre eles tem declarado estas coisas? O SENHOR o tem amado. Ele executará seu desejo sobre Babilônia e seu braço será sobre os caldeus.
15 II, have spoken, Yea I have called him,I have brought him in, and he shall make prosperous his way.
15 Eu, eu tenho falado. Sim, Eu o tenho chamado. Eu o tenho trazido e ele fará seu caminho próspero.
16 Draw ye near unto mehear ye this, Not in advance in secret, have I spoken, From the very time it cometh into being, there, am I,And, now, My Lord Yahweh hath sent me and his spirit.
16 Aproximai-vos de mim, ouvi vós isto: Eu não tenho falado em oculto desde o princípio. Desde o tempo em que isto era, lá estou Eu, e agora o Senhor DEUS e seu Espírito me tem enviado.
17 Thus saith YahwehThy Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel,IYahweh, am thy God, Teaching thee to profit, Guiding thee in the way thou shouldest go.
17 Assim diz o SENHOR, teu Redentor, o Santo de Israel: Eu sou o SENHOR teu Deus, que te ensina o que é proveitoso, que te conduz pelo caminho em que deves andar.
18 Oh! that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments,Then had been, like a river, thy prosperity, And, thy righteousness, like the waves of the sea:
18 Ó se tu tivesses escutado os meus mandamentos! Então tua paz teria sido como um rio e tua justiça como as ondas do mar.
19 Then had been, like the sand, thy seed, And, the offspring of thy body, like the grains thereof,Neither cut off nor destroyed had been his name from before me.
19 Tua descendência também teria sido como a areia, e os frutos de teu ventre como o seu cascalho. O nome dele não teria sido cortado nem destruído diante de mim.
20 Come ye forth out of Babylon, Flee from among the Chaldeans, With triumphant voice, tell yelet this be heard, Let it go forth as far as the end of the earth,Say yeYahweh hath redeemed his servant Jacob!
20 Saí vós de Babilônia, fugi vós desde os caldeus, com uma voz de canto declarai vós, dizei isto, pronunciai isto, para os confins da terra. Dizei vós: O SENHOR tem redimido a seu servo Jacó.
21 And they thirsted not, when, through dry places, he led them, Waters out of the rock, caused hero flow out to them,Yea be cleft a rock and, there gushed out waters:
21 E eles não ficaram sedentos quando Ele os conduziu através dos desertos. Ele fez as águas fluírem para fora da rocha para eles. Ele também fendeu a rocha e as águas jorraram.
22 No well-being, saith Yahweh to the lawless,
22 Não há paz, diz o SENHOR, para o perverso.
