1 Then spake Yahweh, unto Moses and unto Aaron, in the land of Egypt saying
1 Disse o Senhor a Moisés e a Arão na terra do Egito:
2 This month, is, to you, a beginning of months,the first, it is, to you, of the months of the year.
2 Este mês vos será o principal dos meses; será o primeiro mês do ano.
3 Speak ye unto all the assembly of Israel, saying, On the tenth of this month, then let them take to them, each man a lamb for his ancestral household, a lamb for a household.
3 Falai a toda a congregação de Israel, dizendo: Aos dez deste mês, cada um tomará para si um cordeiro, segundo a casa dos pais, um cordeiro para cada família.
4 But if the household be too small for a lamb, then shall he and his neighbour that is near unto his house take one, according to the number of souls,each man according to his eating, shall ye number for the lamb.
4 Mas, se a família for pequena para um cordeiro, então, convidará ele o seu vizinho mais próximo, conforme o número das almas; conforme o que cada um puder comer, por aí calculareis quantos bastem para o cordeiro.
5 A lamb without defect a male a year old, shall yours be,from the sheep or from the goats, shall ye take it.
5 O cordeiro será sem defeito, macho de um ano; podereis tomar um cordeiro ou um cabrito;
6 So shall it be yours, to keep, until the fourteenth day of this month,then shall all the convocation of the assembly of Israel slay it between the two evenings.
6 e o guardareis até ao décimo quarto dia deste mês, e todo o ajuntamento da congregação de Israel o imolará no crepúsculo da tarde.
7 And they shall take of the blood, and put upon the two door-posts and upon the upper-beam,upon the houses wherein they are to eat it.
7 Tomarão do sangue e o porão em ambas as ombreiras e na verga da porta, nas casas em que o comerem;
8 Then shall they eat the flesh, in the same night,roast with fire, and with unleavened cakes, with bitter herbs, shall they eat it.
8 naquela noite, comerão a carne assada no fogo; com pães asmos e ervas amargas a comerão.
9 Do not eat of it underdone, nor cooked by boiling in water,but roast with fire, its head with it, legs, and with its inward parts.
9 Não comereis do animal nada cru, nem cozido em água, porém assado ao fogo: a cabeça, as pernas e a fressura.
10 And ye shall let nothing thereof remain until morning,but that which is left remaining until morning, in the fire shall ye consume.
10 Nada deixareis dele até pela manhã; o que, porém, ficar até pela manhã, queimá-lo-eis.
11 And, thus, shall ye eat it,your loins, girded, your sandals, on your feet, and, your staff, in your hand,so shall ye eat it in haste, it is Yahwehs, passing over.
11 Desta maneira o comereis: lombos cingidos, sandálias nos pés e cajado na mão; comê-lo-eis à pressa; é a Páscoa do Senhor .
12 I will pass along, therefore, throughout the land of Egypt this night, and will smite every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from man even to beast,and against all the gods of Egypt, will I execute judgmentsI, Yahweh.
12 Porque, naquela noite, passarei pela terra do Egito e ferirei na terra do Egito todos os primogênitos, desde os homens até aos animais; executarei juízo sobre todos os deuses do Egito. Eu sou o Senhor .
13 Then shall the blood serve you for a sign, on the houses wherein ye are, then will I behold the blood, and will pass over you,and there shall be among you no plague to destroy, when I smite the laud of Egypt.
13 O sangue vos será por sinal nas casas em que estiverdes; quando eu vir o sangue, passarei por vós, e não haverá entre vós praga destruidora, quando eu ferir a terra do Egito.
14 So shall this day serve you for a memorial, and ye shall celebrate it, as a festival to Yahweh,to your generationsas an age-abiding statute, shall ye celebrate it.
14 Este dia vos será por memorial, e o celebrareis como solenidade ao Senhor ; nas vossas gerações o celebrareis por estatuto perpétuo.
15 Seven days, unleavened cakes, shall ye eat, surely, on the first day, shall ye put away leaven, out of your houses,for whosoever eateth what is leavened, then shall that soul be cut off out of Israel, from the first day, unto the seventh day.
15 Sete dias comereis pães asmos. Logo ao primeiro dia, tirareis o fermento das vossas casas, pois qualquer que comer coisa levedada, desde o primeiro dia até ao sétimo dia, essa pessoa será eliminada de Israel.
16 Both on the first day, a holy convocation, and on the seventh daya holy convocation, shall there be to you,no work, shall be done therein, save only what must be eaten by every soul, that alone, shall be done by you.
16 Ao primeiro dia, haverá para vós outros santa assembleia; também, ao sétimo dia, tereis santa assembleia; nenhuma obra se fará nele, exceto o que diz respeito ao comer; somente isso podereis fazer.
17 So then ye shall observe the unleavened cakes, because on this self-same day, brought I forth your hosts out of the land of Egypt,so then ye shall observe this day to your generations, as a statute age-abiding,
17 Guardai, pois, a Festa dos Pães Asmos, porque, nesse mesmo dia, tirei vossas hostes da terra do Egito; portanto, guardareis este dia nas vossas gerações por estatuto perpétuo.
18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, shall ye eat unleavened cakes,until the one-and-twentieth day of the month in the evening,
18 Desde o dia catorze do primeiro mês, à tarde, comereis pães asmos até à tarde do dia vinte e um do mesmo mês.
19 For seven days, leaven, shall not be found in your houses,for, whosoever eateth what is leavened, then shall that soul be cut off out of the assembly of Israel, whether sojourner or native of the land.
19 Por sete dias, não se ache nenhum fermento nas vossas casas; porque qualquer que comer pão levedado será eliminado da congregação de Israel, tanto o peregrino como o natural da terra.
20 Nothing leavened, shall ye eat,in all your dwellings, shall ye eat unleavened cakes.
20 Nenhuma coisa levedada comereis; em todas as vossas habitações, comereis pães asmos.
21 So then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them,Proceed and take for yourselves one of the flock according to your families, and slay the passover.
21 Chamou, pois, Moisés todos os anciãos de Israel e lhes disse: Escolhei, e tomai cordeiros segundo as vossas famílias, e imolai a Páscoa.
22 Then shall ye take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood which is in the basin, and strike the upper beam and the two door-posts, with the blood which is in the basin,and, ye, shall not go forth any man out of the entrance of his house, until morning,
22 Tomai um molho de hissopo, molhai-o no sangue que estiver na bacia e marcai a verga da porta e suas ombreiras com o sangue que estiver na bacia; nenhum de vós saia da porta da sua casa até pela manhã.
23 And Yahweh will pass along to plague the Egyptians, and when he beholdeth the blood upon the upper beam and upon the two door-pests, then will Yahweh pass over the entrance, and not suffer the destroyer to enter into your houses to inflict on you the plague.
23 Porque o Senhor passará para ferir os egípcios; quando vir, porém, o sangue na verga da porta e em ambas as ombreiras, passará o Senhor aquela porta e não permitirá ao Destruidor que entre em vossas casas, para vos ferir.
24 And ye shall observe this thing,for a statute to thee and to thy sons unto times age-abiding.
24 Guardai, pois, isto por estatuto para vós outros e para vossos filhos, para sempre.
25 And so it shall come to pass when ye shall enter into the land which Yahweh will give you as he hath spoken,and ye shall observe this service;
25 E, uma vez dentro na terra que o Senhor vos dará, como tem dito, observai este rito.
26 and it shall come to pass that your sons shall say unto you,What is this your service?
26 Quando vossos filhos vos perguntarem: Que rito é este?
27 Then shall ye sayA passover sacrifice, it is to Yahweh, who passed-over the houses of the sons of Israel, in Egypt, when he plagued the Egyptians but our houses, he delivered. Then did the people bend their heads and bow themselves down.
27 Respondereis: É o sacrifício da Páscoa ao Senhor , que passou por cima das casas dos filhos de Israel no Egito, quando feriu os egípcios e livrou as nossas casas. Então, o povo se inclinou e adorou.
28 And the sons of Israel went their way and did,as Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron, so, did they.
28 E foram os filhos de Israel e fizeram isso; como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés e a Arão, assim fizeram.
29 And it came to pass, at midnight, that Yahweh, smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat upon his throne, unto the firstborn of the captive who was in the pit of his prison,and every firstborn of beasts.
29 Aconteceu que, à meia-noite, feriu o Senhor todos os primogênitos na terra do Egito, desde o primogênito de Faraó, que se assentava no seu trono, até ao primogênito do cativo que estava na enxovia, e todos os primogênitos dos animais.
30 Then rose up Pharaoh by night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians, and there arose a great outcry throughout Egypt,for there was not a house, where there was not one dead.
30 Levantou-se Faraó de noite, ele, todos os seus oficiais e todos os egípcios; e fez-se grande clamor no Egito, pois não havia casa em que não houvesse morto.
31 So he called for Moses and for Aaron by night and saidRise ye, go forth out of the midst of my people, both ye and the sons of Israel,and go serve Yahweh according to your word;
31 Então, naquela mesma noite, Faraó chamou a Moisés e a Arão e lhes disse: Levantai-vos, saí do meio do meu povo, tanto vós como os filhos de Israel; ide, servi ao Senhor , como tendes dito.
32 also, your flocks and your herds, take ye, as ye spake and go your way,so shall ye bless, even me.
32 Levai também convosco vossas ovelhas e vosso gado, como tendes dito; ide-vos embora e abençoai-me também a mim.
33 And the Egyptians became urgent with the people, to send them in haste out of the land,for they saidWe all, are dying.
33 Os egípcios apertavam com o povo, apressando-se em lançá-los fora da terra, pois diziam: Todos morreremos.
34 So the people took up their dough, ere yet it was leavened,with their kneading-bowls, bound up in their mantles on their shoulders,
34 O povo tomou a sua massa, antes que levedasse, e as suas amassadeiras atadas em trouxas com seus vestidos, sobre os ombros.
35 And the sons of Israel, did according to the word of Moses,and asked of the Egyptians, articles of silver and articles of gold and mantles.
35 Fizeram, pois, os filhos de Israel conforme a palavra de Moisés e pediram aos egípcios objetos de prata, e objetos de ouro, e roupas.
36 And Yahweh, gave the people favour in the eyes of the Egyptians and they gave them gladly,so they spoiled the Egyptians.
36 E o Senhor fez que seu povo encontrasse favor da parte dos egípcios, de maneira que estes lhes davam o que pediam. E despojaram os egípcios.
37 Then did the sons of Israel break up from Rameses, towards Succoth,about six hundred thousand foot of men grown, besides little ones.
37 Assim, partiram os filhos de Israel de Ramessés para Sucote, cerca de seiscentos mil a pé, somente de homens, sem contar mulheres e crianças.
38 Moreover also, a mixed multitude, came up with them,flocks also, and herds, exceeding much cattle,
38 Subiu também com eles um misto de gente, ovelhas, gado, muitíssimos animais.
39 Then baked they the dough which they had brought out of Egyptinto round unleavened cakes for it had not been leavened,for they had been driven out of Egypt and could not tarry, and indeed no provisions, had they made ready for themselves.
39 E cozeram bolos asmos da massa que levaram do Egito; pois não se tinha levedado, porque foram lançados fora do Egito; não puderam deter-se e não haviam preparado para si provisões.
40 Now, the time during which the sons of Israel dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
40 Ora, o tempo que os filhos de Israel habitaram no Egito foi de quatrocentos e trinta anos.
41 And it came to pass at the end of four hundred and thirty years, yea it came to pass, on this self-same day, that all the hosts of Yahweh had come forth out of the land of Egypt.
41 Aconteceu que, ao cabo dos quatrocentos e trinta anos, nesse mesmo dia, todas as hostes do Senhor saíram da terra do Egito.
42 A night of solemn observances, it is unto Yahweh, for bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt,this same night, pertaineth to Yahweh, for solemn observances by all the sons of Israel to their generations.
42 Esta noite se observará ao Senhor , porque, nela, os tirou da terra do Egito; esta é a noite do Senhor , que devem todos os filhos de Israel comemorar nas suas gerações.
43 And Yahweh said unto Moses and Aaron: This, is the statute of the passover,No stranger, shall eat thereof;
43 Disse mais o Senhor a Moisés e a Arão: Esta é a ordenança da Páscoa: nenhum estrangeiro comerá dela.
44 but, every mans servant bought with silver,when thou hast circumcised him, then, shall he eat thereof:
44 Porém todo escravo comprado por dinheiro, depois de o teres circuncidado, comerá dela.
45 An alien or a hireling, shall not eat thereof.
45 O estrangeiro e o assalariado não comerão dela.
46 In one house, shall it be eaten, thou shalt not take forth out of the house any of the flesh outside; and a, bone thereof, shalt thou not break.
46 O cordeiro há de ser comido numa só casa; da sua carne não levareis fora da casa, nem lhe quebrareis osso nenhum.
47 All the assembly of Israel, shall keep it.
47 Toda a congregação de Israel o fará.
48 And when there may sojourn with thee a sojourner who may wish to keep a passover to Yahweh, there must be circumcised to him every male and then, may he draw near to keep it, so shall he be as a native of the land,but no uncircumcised male, shall eat thereof.
48 Porém, se algum estrangeiro se hospedar contigo e quiser celebrar a Páscoa do Senhor , seja-lhe circuncidado todo macho; e, então, se chegará, e a observará, e será como o natural da terra; mas nenhum incircunciso comerá dela.
49 One law, shall there be for the native, and for the sojourner that sojourneth in your midst.
49 A mesma lei haja para o natural e para o forasteiro que peregrinar entre vós.
50 Thus did all the sons of Israel,as Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron, so, did they.
50 Assim fizeram todos os filhos de Israel; como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés e a Arão, assim fizeram.
51 And it came to pass, on this self-same day, that Yahweh brought forth the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, by their hosts.
51 Naquele mesmo dia, tirou o Senhor os filhos de Israel do Egito, segundo as suas turmas.
