1 I could wish ye would bear with me as to some little foolishness,Nay! do even bear with me!
1 Quisera Deus vós suportásseis um pouco em minha loucura! Mas de fato me suportais.
2 For I am jealous over you with a jealousy, of God; for I myself betrothed you unto one husband, to present, a chaste virgin, unto the Christ,
2 Porque tenho ciúme sobre vós com ciúme divino; porque vos desposei com um marido, para vos apresentar como uma virgem pura a Cristo.
3 But I fear lest, by any means, as, the serpent, completely deceived Eve, in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the singleness and the chasteness which are unto the Christ.
3 Mas eu temo que, de algum modo, assim como a serpente enganou Eva com a sua sutileza, que as suas mentes sejam corrompidas da simplicidade que há em Cristo.
4 For, if, indeed, he that cometh, is proclaiming, another Jesus, whom we have not proclaimed, or, a different Spirit, ye are receiving, which ye had not received, or a different glad-message, which ye have never welcomed, ye are, well, bearing.
4 Porque, se alguém for pregar-vos outro Jesus que nós não temos pregado, ou se recebeis outro espírito que não recebestes, ou outro evangelho que não aceitastes, vós o podeis suportar.
5 For I reckon not to have come a whit behind the exceeding overmuch apostles;
5 Porque suponho que em nada fui inferior aos superapóstolos.
6 And, even if uncultured in my discourse, certainly not in my knowledge,but, in every way, having made manifest, in all things, unto you.
6 Mas, embora eu seja rude no discurso, contudo não o sou no conhecimento; mas nos temos feito conhecidos totalmente entre vós em todas as coisas.
7 Or, a sin, did I commitabasing, myself, that, ye, might be exalted,in that, free of charge, Gods glad-message, I announced unto you?
7 Porventura, eu cometi ofensa, humilhando-me, para que vós fôsseis exaltados, porque vos preguei o evangelho de Deus gratuitamente?
8 Other assemblies, I despoiled, receiving supplies that I might minister, unto you;
8 Eu roubei outras igrejas, recebendo delas salário, para vos servir.
9 And, being present with you, and having come short, I was not burdensome to anyone,for, my deficiency, the brethren, coming from Macedonia, helped to make up;and, in everything, without burden unto you, I kept, myselfand will keep!
9 e quando eu estava presente convosco, quando tive necessidade, não fui uma carga para nenhum homem. Porque, o que estava me faltando, os irmãos que vieram da Macedônia supriram; e em todas as coisas me guardei de vos ser um fardo, e ainda me guardarei.
10 Truth of Christ is in me, that, this boasting, shall not be silenced unto me, in the regions of Achaia.
10 Como a verdade de Cristo está em mim, nenhum homem me impedirá de me gloriar nas regiões da Acaia.
11 Wherefore? Because I love you not? God, knoweth!
11 Por quê? Porque não vos amo? Deus o sabe.
12 But, what I am doing, I also will do,that I may cut off the occasion of them who are wishing an occasion, that, wherein they are boasting themselves, they may be found even as also, we.
12 Mas o que eu faço o farei, para que eu possa cortar ocasião aos que desejam ocasião, no que eles se gloriam, sejam achados assim como nós.
13 For, such as these, are false apostles, deceitful workers, transfiguring themselves into apostles of Christ.
13 Porque tais são falsos apóstolos, obreiros enganosos, transformando-se em apóstolos de Cristo.
14 And no marvel! for, Satan himself, doth transfigure himself into a messenger of light!
14 E não é de admirar, porque o próprio Satanás se transfigura em anjo de luz.
15 No great thing, therefore, if, his ministers also, are transfiguring themselves as ministers of righteousness!whose end, shall be according to their works.
15 Portanto, não é grande coisa, se os seus ministros também são transformados em ministros da justiça; cujo fim será conforme as suas obras.
16 Again, I saylet no one deem me to be, foolish; but, otherwise, at least, as foolish, give me welcome, that, I also, some little, may boast myself.
16 Eu digo novamente: Nenhum homem me julgue um tolo, do contrário, recebei-me como tolo, para que me glorie um pouco.
17 What I am saying, not according to the Lord, am I saying, but as in foolishness,in this my boastful confidence!
17 O que digo, não o digo segundo o Senhor, mas como por tolice, nesta confiança de gloriar-me.
18 Since, many, are boasting after the flesh, I also, will boast;
18 Vendo que muitos se gloriam segundo a carne, eu também me gloriarei.
19 For, gladly, do ye bear with the foolish, being , discreet,
19 Porque suportais os tolos alegremente, sendo vós sensatos.
20 For ye bear with itif anyone enslaveth you, if any devoureth, if anyone taketh, if anyone lifteth himself up, if anyone, on the face, doth smite you!
20 Porque sois sofredores, se um homem vos leva para a servidão, se um homem vos devora, se um homem vos toma, se um homem se exalta, se um homem vos fere na face.
21 By way of disparagement, am I speaking,as though, we, had been weak! whereas, in whatsoever anyone dareth, in foolishness I speak, I also, dare:
21 Para vergonha minha o digo, falo como se estivéssemos enfraquecidos. Mas naquilo em que alguém é ousado (falo tolamente) eu também sou ousado.
22 Hebrews, are they? I also, Israelites, are they? I also, seed of Abraham, are they? I also,
22 Eles são hebreus? Eu também sou. São israelitas? Eu também sou. São a semente de Abraão? Eu também sou.
23 Ministers of Christ, are they? As one deranged I am talking, I, above measure!in toils, superabundantly, in prisons, superabundantly, in stripes, to excess, in deaths, oft,
23 Eles são ministros de Cristo? (eu falo como um tolo) eu sou mais; em trabalhos mais abundantes; em açoites acima da medida; em prisões mais frequentes; em perigo de morte, muitas vezes.
24 From Jews, five times, forty-save-one, have I received,
24 Dos judeus cinco vezes recebi quarenta açoites, exceto um.
25 Thrice, have I been beaten with rods, once, have I been stoned, thrice, have I been shipwrecked, a day and night, in the deep, have I spent;
25 Três vezes eu fui açoitado com varas, uma vez eu fui apedrejado, três vezes sofri naufrágio, uma noite e um dia passei nas profundezas;
26 In journeyings oft, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from my own race, in perils from Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the desert, in perils by the sea, in perils among false brethren,
26 em viagens, muitas vezes em perigos de águas, em perigos de ladrões, em perigos dos da minha própria nação, em perigos dos pagãos, em perigos na cidade, em perigos no deserto, em perigos no mar, em perigos entre os falsos irmãos;
27 in toil and hardship, in watchings, oft, in hunger and thirst, in fasting, oft, in cold and nakedness:
27 em exaustão e dor, em vigílias muitas vezes, em fome e sede, em jejum muitas vezes, no frio e na nudez.
28 Apart from the things without, my daily care,my anxiety for all the assemblies;
28 Além das coisas exteriores, o que vem sobre mim diariamente, o cuidado de todas as igrejas.
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and, I, am not burning?
29 Quem é fraco, e eu não sou fraco? Quem está ofendido, e eu não me inflamo?
30 If, to boast, is needful, in the things that concern my weakness, will I boast.
30 Se for necessário gloriar-me, gloriar-me-ei nas coisas que dizem respeito à minha fraqueza.
31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus, knowethHe who is blessed unto the agesthat I am not speaking falsely:
31 O Deus e Pai de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, que é bendito para sempre, sabe que eu não minto.
32 In Damascus, the governor under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of Damascenes, to apprehend me,
32 Em Damasco, o governador sob o rei Aretas, guardou a cidade dos damascenos com uma guarnição, desejosos de me prenderem;
33 And, through a window, was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
33 e por uma janela, dentro de um cesto, fui descido em um muro, e escapei das suas mãos.
