1 And, to the sons of Issachar, belonged, Tola and Push, Jashib and Shimron, four.
1 Os quatro filhos de Issacar foram: Tolá, Puá, Jasube e Sinrom.
2 And, the sons of Tola, were Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Ibsam and Shemuel, chiefs of their ancestral house, pertaining to Tola, heroes of valour, in their generations,their number, in the days of David, twenty-two thousand and six hundred.
2 Os filhos de Tolá foram: Uzi, Refaías, Jeriel, Jamai, Ibsão e Samuel. Cada um deles foi chefe de um clã. No tempo do rei Davi, o total de homens aptos para a guerra listados no registro desses clãs era de 22.600.
3 And, the sons of Uzzi, Izrahiah,and, the sons of Izrahiah, Michael and Obadiah and Joel, Isshiahfive, chiefs, all of them;
3 O filho de Uzi foi Israías. Os filhos de Israías foram: Micael, Obadias, Joel e Issias. Os cinco foram chefes de clãs.
4 and, with them by their generations, pertaining to their ancestral house, were bands of a host for war, thirty-six thousand,for they had many wives and sons;
4 Todos eles tiveram muitas esposas e muitos filhos, por isso o total de homens disponíveis para o serviço militar entre seus descendentes era de 36.000.
5 and, their brethren, of all the families of Issachar, heroes of great valour, were eighty-seven thousand, when they had, all, registered themselves.
5 O total de homens aptos para a guerra de todos os clãs da tribo de Issacar era de 87.000. Todos eles foram listados nos registros genealógicos.
6 Benjamin, Bela and Becher and Jediael, three.
6 Os três filhos de Benjamim foram: Belá, Bequer e Jediael.
7 And, the sons of Bela, Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri, five, chiefs of the ancestral house, heroes of great valour,who, when they had registered themselves, were twenty-two thousand and thirty-four,
7 Os cinco filhos de Belá foram: Esbom, Uzi, Uziel, Jerimote e Iri. Cada um deles foi chefe de um clã. O total de homens aptos para a guerra desses clãs era de 22.034, conforme listado nos registros genealógicos.
8 And, the sons of Becher, Zemirah and Joash and Eliezer and Elioenai and Omri, and Jeremoth and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these, were sons of Becher.
8 Os filhos de Bequer foram: Zemira, Joás, Eliézer, Elioenai, Onri, Jeremote, Abias, Anatote e Alemete.
9 And, when they had registered themselves by their generations, the chiefs of their ancestral house, the heroes of valour, were twenty thousand and two hundred.
9 Cada um deles foi chefe de um clã. O total de homens aptos para a guerra e chefes desses clãs era de 20.200, conforme listado nos registros genealógicos.
10 And, the sons of Jediael, Bilhan,and, the sons of Bilhan, Jeish and Benjamin and Ehud and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahah.
10 O filho de Jediael foi Bilã. Os filhos de Bilã foram: Jeús, Benjamim, Eúde, Quenaaná, Zetã, Társis e Aisaar.
11 All thesesons of Jediael, by ancestral chiefs, heroes of great valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred, ready to go forth as a host to war:
11 Cada um deles foi chefe de um clã. O total de homens aptos para a guerra desses clãs era de 17.200.
12 Shuppim also and Huppim, sons of Ir, Hushim sons of Aher.
12 Os filhos de Ir foram: Supim e Hupim. O filho de Aer foi Husim.
13 the sons of Naphtali, Jahziel and Guni, and Jezer and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.
13 Os filhos de Naftali foram: Jazeel, Guni, Jezer e Silém. Todos eles foram descendentes de Bila, concubina de Jacó.
14 The sons of Manasseh, Asriel, whom, bare,his concubine, the Syrian, bare Machir the father of Gilead;
14 Os descendentes de Manassés com sua concubina arameia foram: Asriel e Maquir, pai de Gileade.
15 and, Machir, took a wife pertaining to Huppim and Shuppim, and, the name of his sister, was Maacah, and, the name of the second, Zelophehad,and, Zelophehad, had, daughters.
15 Maquir se casou com uma mulher do clã de Hupim e Supim. A irmã de Maquir se chamava Maaca. Outro descendente de Manassés foi Zelofedade, que só teve filhas.
16 So then Maacah, wife of Machir, bare a son, and called his name Peresh, and, the name of his brother, was Sheresh,and, his sons, were Ulam and Rakem;
16 Maaca, esposa de Maquir, deu à luz um filho e lhe deu o nome de Perez. Seu irmão se chamava Seres. Os filhos de Perez foram: Ulão e Requém.
17 and, the sons of Ulam, Bedan. These, were the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh.
17 O filho de Ulão foi Bedã. Todos esses foram descendentes de Gileade, filho de Maquir, filho de Manassés.
18 And, his sister, Hammolecheth, bare Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.
18 Hamolequete, irmã de Maquir, deu à luz Isode, Abiezer e Maalá.
19 And, the sons of Shemida, were Ahian and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
19 Os filhos de Semida foram: Aiã, Siquém, Liqui e Anião.
20 And, the sons of Ephraim, Shuthelah,and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son;
20 Os descendentes de Efraim foram: Sutela, Berede, Taate, Eleada, Taate,
21 and Zabad his son and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead,but the men of Gath who had been born in the land slew them, because they had come down to take away their cattle.
21 Zabade, Sutela, Ézer e Eleade. Estes dois foram mortos quando tentavam roubar o gado de moradores dos arredores de Gate.
22 And Ephraim their father mourned many days,and his brethren came to comfort him.
22 Seu pai, Efraim, lamentou sua morte por muito tempo, e seus parentes vieram consolá-lo.
23 And he went in unto his wife, and she conceived, and bare a son,and he called his name, Beriah, because, in misfortune, was she in his house.
23 Depois, Efraim teve relações com sua esposa, e ela engravidou e deu à luz um filho. Efraim lhe deu o nome de Berias, por causa da desgraça que sua família havia sofrido.
24 And, his daughter, was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper,and Uzzen-sheerah.
24 Sua filha se chamava Seerá. Ela construiu as cidades de Bete-Horom Baixa, Bete-Horom Alta e Uzém-Seerá.
25 And Rephah his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,
25 Os descendentes de Efraim foram: Refa, Resefe, Telá, Taã,
26 Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,
26 Ladã, Amiúde, Elisama,
27 Non his son, Joshua his son.
27 Num e Josué.
28 And, their possessions, and their dwellings, were Bethel, and the villages thereof; and, eastward, Naaran, and, westward, Gezer, and the villages thereof, and Shechem, and the villages thereof,as far as Aiyah, and the villages thereof;
28 Os descendentes de Efraim habitavam no território que incluía Betel e seus povoados ao sul, Naarã a leste, Gezer e seus povoados a oeste, e Siquém e seus povoados ao norte, até Aiá e seus povoados.
29 and, on the sides of the sons of Manasseh, Beth-shean and the villages thereof, Taanach and the villages thereof, Megiddo and the villages thereof, Dor and the villages thereof. In these, dwelt the sons of Joseph, son of Israel.
29 Ao longo da divisa de Manassés, ficavam as cidades de Bete-Seã, Taanaque, Megido e Dor, com seus povoados. Os descendentes de José, filho de Israel, habitavam nessas cidades.
30 The sons of Asher, Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi and Beriah,and Serah their sister.
30 Os filhos de Aser foram: Imna, Isvá, Isvi e Berias. A irmã deles se chamava Sera.
31 And, the sons of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel,the same, was the father of Birzaith.
31 Os filhos de Berias foram: Héber e Malquiel, pai de Birzavite.
32 And, Heber, begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham,and, Shua, their sister.
32 Os filhos de Héber foram: Jaflete, Somer e Hotão. A irmã deles se chamava Suá.
33 And, the sons of Japhlet, Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These, were the sons of Japhlet.
33 Os filhos de Jaflete foram: Pasaque, Bimal e Asvate.
34 And, the sons of Shemer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Jahbah, and Aram.
34 Os filhos de Somer foram: Aí, Roga, Jeubá e Arã.
35 And, the sons of Helem, his brother, Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh and Amal.
35 Os filhos de Helém, irmão de Somer, foram: Zofa, Imna, Seles e Amal.
36 The sons of Zophah, Suah and Harnepher, and Shual and Beri, and Imrah,
36 Os filhos de Zofa foram: Suá, Harnefer, Sual, Beri, Inra,
37 Bezer and Hod, and Shamma and Shilshah, and Ithran and Beera.
37 Bezer, Hode, Samá, Silsa, Itrã e Beera.
38 And, the sons of Jether, Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.
38 Os filhos de Jéter foram: Jefoné, Pispa e Ara.
39 And, the sons of Ulla, Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.
39 Os filhos de Ula foram: Ará, Haniel e Rizia.
40 All these, were sons of Asher, chiefs of the ancestral house, choice men, heroes of great valour, chiefs of the leaders,and, when they registered themselves, in host, for war, the number of the men, was twenty-six thousand.
40 Cada um desses descendentes de Aser foi chefe de um clã. Eram todos homens escolhidos, guerreiros valentes e líderes de destaque. O total de homens disponíveis para o serviço militar era de 26.000, conforme listado nos registros genealógicos.
