1 And, to the sons of Issachar, belonged, Tola and Push, Jashib and Shimron, four.
1 Issacar foi pai de quatro filhos: Tolá, Puá, Jasube e Sinrom.
2 And, the sons of Tola, were Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Ibsam and Shemuel, chiefs of their ancestral house, pertaining to Tola, heroes of valour, in their generations,their number, in the days of David, twenty-two thousand and six hundred.
2 Tolá foi pai de seis filhos: Uzi, Refaías, Jeriel, Jamai, Ibsão e Samuel. Eles foram chefes de famílias do grupo de famílias de Tolá e foram soldados famosos. No tempo do rei Davi, os descendentes deles chegavam a vinte e dois mil e seiscentos.
3 And, the sons of Uzzi, Izrahiah,and, the sons of Izrahiah, Michael and Obadiah and Joel, Isshiahfive, chiefs, all of them;

4 and, with them by their generations, pertaining to their ancestral house, were bands of a host for war, thirty-six thousand,for they had many wives and sons;

5 and, their brethren, of all the families of Issachar, heroes of great valour, were eighty-seven thousand, when they had, all, registered themselves.

6 Benjamin, Bela and Becher and Jediael, three.

7 And, the sons of Bela, Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri, five, chiefs of the ancestral house, heroes of great valour,who, when they had registered themselves, were twenty-two thousand and thirty-four,

8 And, the sons of Becher, Zemirah and Joash and Eliezer and Elioenai and Omri, and Jeremoth and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these, were sons of Becher.

9 And, when they had registered themselves by their generations, the chiefs of their ancestral house, the heroes of valour, were twenty thousand and two hundred.
9 Na lista dos seus descendentes, família por família, havia vinte mil e duzentos homens capazes para o serviço militar.
10 And, the sons of Jediael, Bilhan,and, the sons of Bilhan, Jeish and Benjamin and Ehud and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahah.
10 Jediael foi pai de um filho chamado Bilã, que foi pai de sete filhos: Jeús, Benjamim, Eúde, Quenaana, Zetã, Társis e Aisaar.
11 All thesesons of Jediael, by ancestral chiefs, heroes of great valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred, ready to go forth as a host to war:

12 Shuppim also and Huppim, sons of Ir, Hushim sons of Aher.

13 the sons of Naphtali, Jahziel and Guni, and Jezer and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.

14 The sons of Manasseh, Asriel, whom, bare,his concubine, the Syrian, bare Machir the father of Gilead;

16 So then Maacah, wife of Machir, bare a son, and called his name Peresh, and, the name of his brother, was Sheresh,and, his sons, were Ulam and Rakem;

17 and, the sons of Ulam, Bedan. These, were the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh.

18 And, his sister, Hammolecheth, bare Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.

19 And, the sons of Shemida, were Ahian and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

20 And, the sons of Ephraim, Shuthelah,and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son;
20 Efraim foi pai de Sutela, Sutela foi pai de Berede, Berede foi pai de Taate, Taate foi pai de Eleada, e Eleada foi pai de Taate;
21 and Zabad his son and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead,but the men of Gath who had been born in the land slew them, because they had come down to take away their cattle.
21 Taate foi pai de Zabade, e Zabade foi pai de Sutela. Efraim foi pai de mais dois filhos além de Sutela; eles se chamavam Ézer e Eleade e foram mortos quando tentavam roubar o gado dos moradores de Gate.
22 And Ephraim their father mourned many days,and his brethren came to comfort him.

23 And he went in unto his wife, and she conceived, and bare a son,and he called his name, Beriah, because, in misfortune, was she in his house.

24 And, his daughter, was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper,and Uzzen-sheerah.

25 And Rephah his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,

26 Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,
26 Taã foi pai de Ladã, Ladã foi pai de Amiúde, e Amiúde foi pai de Elisama;
27 Non his son, Joshua his son.
27 Elisama foi pai de Num, e Num foi pai de Josué.
28 And, their possessions, and their dwellings, were Bethel, and the villages thereof; and, eastward, Naaran, and, westward, Gezer, and the villages thereof, and Shechem, and the villages thereof,as far as Aiyah, and the villages thereof;
28 O território que eles receberam e onde ficaram morando incluía Betel e as cidades que ficavam ao seu redor, indo na direção leste até Naarã e na direção oeste até Gezer e as cidades que ficavam ao seu redor. Desse território também faziam parte Siquém e Aia e as cidades que ficavam ao seu redor.
29 and, on the sides of the sons of Manasseh, Beth-shean and the villages thereof, Taanach and the villages thereof, Megiddo and the villages thereof, Dor and the villages thereof. In these, dwelt the sons of Joseph, son of Israel.
29 Os descendentes de Manassés controlavam as cidades de Bete-Sã, Taanaque, Megido e Dor e as cidades que ficavam ao seu redor. São esses os lugares onde moravam os descendentes de José, filho de Jacó.
30 The sons of Asher, Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi and Beriah,and Serah their sister.
30 São estes os descendentes de Aser. Ele foi pai de quatro filhos: Imna, Isva, Isvi e Berias, e de uma filha chamada Sera.
31 And, the sons of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel,the same, was the father of Birzaith.
31 Berias foi pai de dois filhos: Héber e Malquiel. Malquiel fundou a cidade de Birzavite.
32 And, Heber, begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham,and, Shua, their sister.
32 Héber foi pai de três filhos: Jaflete, Somer e Hotão, e de uma filha chamada Suá.
33 And, the sons of Japhlet, Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These, were the sons of Japhlet.

34 And, the sons of Shemer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Jahbah, and Aram.
34 Somer, seu irmão, foi pai de três filhos: Roga, Jeuba e Arã.
35 And, the sons of Helem, his brother, Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh and Amal.
35 Hotão, seu irmão, foi pai de quatro filhos: Zofa, Imna, Seles e Amal.
36 The sons of Zophah, Suah and Harnepher, and Shual and Beri, and Imrah,
36 Os descendentes de Zofa foram: Sua, Harnefer, Sual, Beri, Inra,
37 Bezer and Hod, and Shamma and Shilshah, and Ithran and Beera.
37 Bezer, Hode, Sama, Silsa, Itrã e Beera.
38 And, the sons of Jether, Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.
38 Os descendentes de Jéter foram: Jefoné, Pispa e Ara.
39 And, the sons of Ulla, Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.
39 Os descendentes de Ula foram: Ará, Haniel e Rizia.
40 All these, were sons of Asher, chiefs of the ancestral house, choice men, heroes of great valour, chiefs of the leaders,and, when they registered themselves, in host, for war, the number of the men, was twenty-six thousand.
40 Todos estes foram descendentes de Aser. Eles foram chefes de famílias, soldados famosos e líderes destacados. Entre os descendentes de Aser havia vinte e seis mil homens capazes para o serviço militar.
