1 Now, David, was old, and satisfied with days,so he made Solomon his son king, over Israel;
1 Assim, quando Davi era velho e cheio de dias, ele fez Salomão, o seu filho, rei sobre Israel.
2 and gathered together all the rulers of Israel, with the priests, and the Levites.
2 E ele reuniu todos os príncipes de Israel, com os sacerdotes e os levitas.
3 Now the Levites were numbered, from thirty years old and upwards,and their number by their polls, of mature men, was thirty-eight thousand.
3 Ora, os levitas foram enumerados de trinta anos para cima; e o seu número, segundo seus cabeças, homem por homem, foi trinta e oito mil.
4 Of theseto preside over the work of the house of Yahweh, were twenty-four thousand,and officers and judges, six thousand;
4 Dos quais, vinte e quatro mil foram colocados à frente do trabalho da casa do SENHOR; e seis mil foram oficiais e juízes.
5 and four thousand, were doorkeepers,and, four thousand, were offerers of praise unto Yahweh, with instruments, which I made for offering praise.
5 Além disso, quatro mil foram porteiros; e quatro mil louvaram ao SENHOR com os instrumentos que eu fiz, disse Davi, para com eles louvar.
6 And David divided them into courses,pertaining to the sons of Levi, to Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
6 E Davi os dividiu em classes entre os filhos de Levi, a saber: Gérson, Coate e Merari.
7 Of the Gershonites, Ladan and Shimei.
7 Dos Gersonitas foram: Ladã e Simei.
8 The sons of Ladan, the chief Jehiel, and Zetham and Joel, three.
8 Os filhos de Ladã: o chefe foi Jeiel, e Zetã, e Joel, três.
9 The sons of Shimei, Shelomoth and Haziel and Haran, three,these, were the ancestral chiefs of Ladan.
9 Os filhos de Simei: Selomite, e Haziel, e Harã, três. Estes foram os chefes dos pais de Ladã.
10 And, the sons of Shimei, Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah,these, were the sons of Shimei, four.
10 E os filhos de Simei foram: Jaate, e Ziza e Jeús, e Berias. Estes quatro foram os filhos de Simei.
11 And Jahath was chief, and Zizah the second,but, Jeush and Beriah, had not many sons, so they became an ancestral house, by one reckoning.
11 E Jaate foi o chefe, e Ziza, o segundo; mas Jeús e Berias não tiveram muitos filhos; portanto, eles estavam em uma apuração, de acordo com a casa dos seus pais.
12 The sons of Kohath, Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, four.
12 E os filhos de Coate: Anrão, Isar, e Hebrom, e Uziel, quatro.
13 The sons of Amram, Aaron and Moses,and Aaron was separated, to hallow the holy of holies, he and his sons, unto times age-abiding, to make a perfume before Yahweh, to be in attendance upon him, and to bless in his name, unto times age-abiding;
13 Os filhos de Anrão: Arão, e Moisés; e Arão foi separado para que santificasse as coisas mais sagradas, ele e os seus filhos, para sempre, para queimar incenso diante do SENHOR, para ministrar a ele, e para bendizer o seu nome para sempre.
14 and, as for Moses, the man of God, his sons, were called unto the tribe of Levi.
14 Ora, acerca de Moisés, o homem de Deus, os seus filhos foram nomeados da tribo de Levi.
15 The sons of Moses, were Gershom, and Eliezer.
15 Os filhos de Moisés foram: Gérson, e Eliézer.
16 the sons of Gershom, were Shebuel the chief;
16 Dos filhos de Gérson: Sebuel era o chefe.
17 and the sons of Eliezer were Rehabiah the chief,and Eliezer had no other sons, but, the sons of Rehabiah, were very many.
17 E os filhos de Eliézer foram: Reabias, o chefe. E Eliézer não teve outros filhos; porém os filhos de Reabias foram muitíssimos.
18 The sons of Izhar, Shelomith the chief.
18 Dos filhos de Isar: Selomite, o chefe.
19 The sons of Hebron, Jeriah the chief, Amariah the second, Jehaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
19 Dos filhos de Hebrom: Jerias, o primeiro; Amarias, o segundo; Jaaziel, o terceiro, e Jecameão, o quarto.
20 The sons of Uzziel, Micah the chief, and Isshiah the second.
20 Dos filhos de Uziel: Mica, o primeiro, e Issias, o segundo.
21 The sons of Merari, were Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Mahli, were Eleazar and Kish.
21 Os filhos de Merari: Mali e Musi. Os filhos de Mali: Eleazar, e Quis.
22 But Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters only,and so the sons of Kish their brethren took them.
22 E Eleazar morreu, e não teve filhos, mas filhas; e os seus irmãos, os filhos de Quis, tomaram-nas.
23 The sons of Mushi, were Mahli and Eder and Jeremoth, three.
23 Os filhos de Musi: Mali, e Éder, e Jerimote, três.
24 These, were the sons of Levi by their ancestral house, the ancestral chiefs of them who were counted in the number of their names, by their polls, doing the work, for the service of the house of Yahweh,from twenty years old, and upwards.
24 Estes foram os filhos de Levi, segundo a casa dos seus pais, a saber: os chefes dos pais, segundo o número dos seus nomes, por suas cabeças; que faziam a obra para o serviço da casa do SENHOR, da idade de vinte anos para cima.
25 For, said David, Yahweh the God of Israel hath given rest unto his people,and hath taken up his habitation in Jerusalem, unto times age-abiding;
25 Porque Davi disse: O SENHOR Deus de Israel tem dado descanso para o seu povo, para que ele possa habitar em Jerusalém para sempre;
26 moreover also, as for the Levites, they have no need to bear the habitation, nor any of its vessels in the laborious work thereof.
26 e também para os levitas; eles não carregarão mais o tabernáculo, nem quaisquer dos seus vasos para o seu serviço.
27 For, by the last words of David, the same, were the number of the sons of Levi,from twenty years old, and upwards.
27 Porque, pelas últimas palavras de Davi, os levitas foram contados de vinte anos de idade para cima;
28 For, their duty, wasto be in attendance upon the sons of Aaron, in the laborious work of the house of Yahweh, over the courts, and over the chambers, and over the purifying of everything holy,and doing the laborious work, of the house of God;
28 porque o seu ofício era servir aos filhos de Arão no serviço da casa do SENHOR, nos átrios, e nas câmaras, e na purificação de todas as coisas santas, e no trabalho do serviço da casa de Deus;
29 and for the bread set in array, and for the fine meal for the meal-offering, and for the unleavened cakes, even for that which is baked in a pan, for the moistened food,even of every measure, and size;
29 tanto no pão da proposição, como na flor farinha para a oferta de carne, e para os bolos ázimos, e para aquilo que é assado na panela, e para aquilo que é frito, e para todas as formas de medida e tamanho;
30 and to stand, morning by morning, to give thanks and offer praise unto Yahweh,and, likewise, at even;
30 e para estarem cada manhã em pé para agradecer e louvar ao SENHOR, e de modo semelhante ao anoitecer;
31 and for all the offering of ascending-sacrifices unto Yahweh, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts,by number, according to the manner prescribed for them continually, before Yahweh;
31 e para oferecerem todos os sacrifícios queimados ao SENHOR nos shabats, nas luas novas, e nas festas marcadas, pelo número, segundo a ordem que lhes foi comandada, continuamente, diante do SENHOR;
32 and they shall keep the charge of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron, their brethren,in the laborious work of the house of Yahweh.
32 e para que eles cumpram a incumbência do tabernáculo da congregação, e a incumbência do lugar santo, e a incumbência dos filhos de Arão, os seus irmãos, no serviço da casa do SENHOR.
