1 So they brought in the ark of God, and placed it in the midst of the tent, which David had pitched for it,and they brought near ascending-sacrifices and peace-offerings, before God.
1 Trouxeram, pois, a arca de Deus, e a puseram no meio da tenda que Davi lhe tinha armado; e ofereceram holocaustos e sacrifícios pacíficos perante Deus.
2 And, when David had made an end of offering the ascending-sacrifices, and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people, in the name of Yahweh.
2 E, acabando Davi de oferecer os holocaustos e sacrifícios pacíficos, abençoou o povo em nome do Senhor.
3 And he apportioned, to every one of Israel, both man and woman,to every one, a loaf of bread, and a sweet drink, and a raisin cake.
3 E repartiu a todos em Israel, tanto a homens como a mulheres, a cada um, um pão, e um bom pedaço de carne, e um frasco de vinho.
4 And he placed before the ark of Yahweh certain of the Levites, as attendants,and to celebrate, and to give thanks and render praise, unto Yahweh, God of Israel;
4 E pôs alguns dos levitas por ministros perante a arca do Senhor; isto para recordarem, e louvarem, e celebrarem ao Senhor Deus de Israel.
5 Asaph the chief, and, second to him, Zechariah,Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of harps, and with lyres, and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud:
5 Era Asafe, o chefe, e Zacarias o segundo depois dele; Jeiel, e Semiramote, e Jeiel, e Matitias, e Eliabe, e Benaia, e Obede-Edom, e Jeiel, com alaúdes e com harpas; e Asafe se fazia ouvir com címbalos;
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel, the priests,with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
6 Também Benaia, e Jaaziel, os sacerdotes, continuamente tocavam trombetas, perante a arca da aliança de Deus.
7 On that day, then, David gave in chief, to give thanks unto Yahweh,through Asaph, and his brethren:
7 Então naquele mesmo dia Davi, em primeiro lugar, deu o seguinte salmo para que, pelo ministério de Asafe e de seus irmãos, louvassem ao Senhor;
8 Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his name, Make known among the peoples, his doings;
8 Louvai ao Senhor, invocai o seu nome, fazei conhecidas as suas obras entre os povos.
9 Sing ye to him, Make music unto him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
9 Cantai-lhe, salmodiai-lhe, atentamente falai de todas as suas maravilhas.
10 Boast yourselves in his holy name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
10 Gloriai-vos no seu santo nome; alegre-se o coração dos que buscam ao Senhor.
11 Search out Yahweh, and his power, Seek diligently his face, at all times.
11 Buscai ao Senhor e a sua força; buscai a sua face continuamente.
12 Remember his wonders which he hath done, His splendid deeds, and the just decisions of his mouth.
12 Lembrai-vos das maravilhas que fez, de seus prodígios, e dos juízos da sua boca;
13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, sons of Jacob his chosen ones:
13 Vós, semente de Israel, seus servos, vós, filhos de Jacó, seus escolhidos.
14 Yahweh himself, is our God, through all the land, are his just decisions.
14 Ele é o Senhor nosso Deus; os seus juízos estão em toda a terra.
15 Remember yea to times age-abiding, his covenant, the word he hath commanded, to a thousand generations;
15 Lembrai-vos perpetuamente da sua aliança e da palavra que prescreveu para mil gerações;
16 Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
16 Da aliança que fez com Abraão, e do seu juramento a Isaque;
17 And confirmed it, unto Jacob, for a statute, unto Israel, as a covenant age-abiding:
17 O qual também a Jacó confirmou por estatuto, e a Israel por aliança eterna,
18 Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, as your inherited portion:
18 Dizendo: A ti te darei a terra de Canaã, quinhão da vossa herança.
19 While, as yet, ye were men who could be counted, a very few, and sojourners therein:
19 Quando eram poucos homens em número, sim, mui poucos, e estrangeiros nela,
20 And they wandered from nation to nation, and from one kingdom, to another people:
20 Quando andavam de nação em nação, e de um reino para outro povo,
21 He suffered no man to oppress them, And reprovedfor their sakeskings!
21 A ninguém permitiu que os oprimisse, e por amor deles repreendeu reis, dizendo:
22 Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
22 Não toqueis os meus ungidos, e aos meus profetas não façais mal.
23 Sing to Yahweh, all the earth, Tell the tidings, from day to day, of his salvation:
23 Cantai ao Senhor em toda a terra; anunciai de dia em dia a sua salvação.
24 Recount, among the nations, his glory, among all the peoples, his wonders.
24 Contai entre as nações a sua glória, entre todos os povos as suas maravilhas.
25 For great is Yahweh, and worthy to be mightily praised, and to be revered is he above all gods;
25 Porque grande é o Senhor, e mui digno de louvor, e mais temível é do que todos os deuses.
26 For, all the gods of the peoples, are things of nought, but, Yahweh, made, the heavens.
26 Porque todos os deuses dos povos são ídolos; porém o Senhor fez os céus.
27 Praise and majesty, are before him, Strength and joy, are in his dwelling-place.
27 Louvor e majestade há diante dele, força e alegria no seu lugar.
28 Give to Yahweh, ye families of the peoples, Give to Yahweh, glory and strength:
28 Tributai ao Senhor, ó famílias dos povos, tributai ao Senhor glória e força.
29 Give to Yahweh, the glory of his name,Bring ye a present, and enter before him, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness:
29 Tributai ao Senhor a glória de seu nome; trazei presentes, e vinde perante ele; adorai ao Senhor na beleza da sua santidade.
30 Tremble at his presence, all the earth, But the world, shall be established, it shall not be shaken.
30 Trema perante ele, trema toda a terra; pois o mundo se firmará, para que não se abale.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth exult, Let them say among the nations, Yahweh, hath become king!
31 Alegrem-se os céus, e regozije-se a terra; e diga-se entre as nações: O Senhor reina.
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof, Let the field leap for joy, and all that is therein:
32 Brame o mar com a sua plenitude; exulte o campo com tudo o que nele há;
33 Then, shall shout in triumph, the trees of the forest, before Yahweh, for he is coming, to judge the earth.
33 Então jubilarão as árvores dos bosques perante o Senhor; porquanto vem julgar a terra.
34 Give ye thanks unto Yahweh, For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.
34 Louvai ao Senhor, porque é bom; pois a sua benignidade dura perpetuamente.
35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us and deliver us, from among the nations,that we may give thanks unto thy holy name, that we may triumph aloud in thy praise.
35 E dizei: Salva-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e ajunta-nos, e livra-nos das nações, para que louvemos o teu santo nome, e nos gloriemos no teu louvor.
36 Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from one age even to another age. Then said all the people, Amen, And gave praise to Yahweh.
36 Bendito seja o Senhor Deus de Israel, de eternidade a eternidade. E todo o povo disse: Amém! E louvou ao Senhor.
37 So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brethren,to be in attendance before the ark continually, for the duty of a day on its day;
37 Então Davi deixou ali, diante da arca da aliança do Senhor, a Asafe e a seus irmãos, para ministrarem continuamente perante a arca, segundo se ordenara para cada dia.
38 and Obed-edom with his brethren, sixty-eight,and Obed-edom son of Jedithun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
38 E mais a Obede-Edom, com seus irmãos, sessenta e oito; a este Obede-Edom, filho de Jedutum, e a Hosa, deixou por porteiros.
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the habitation of Yahweh,in the high place that was in Gibeon:
39 E deixou a Zadoque, o sacerdote, e a seus irmãos, os sacerdotes, diante do tabernáculo do Senhor, no alto que está em Gibeom,
40 to offer ascending-sacrifices unto Yahweh, upon the altar of ascending-sacrifice,continually, morning and evening,even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded concerning Israel;
40 Para oferecerem holocaustos ao Senhor continuamente, pela manhã e à tarde, sobre o altar dos holocaustos; e isto segundo tudo o que está escrito na lei do Senhor que tinha prescrito a Israel.
41 and, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of the chosen ones, who were distinguished by name,to give thanks unto Yahweh, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness!
41 E com eles a Hemã, e a Jedutum, e aos mais escolhidos, que foram apontados pelos seus nomes, para louvarem ao Senhor, porque a sua benignidade dura perpetuamente.
42 And, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, the trumpets, and the cymbals, for sounding aloud, and the instruments for the songs of God,and the sons of Jeduthun, for the gate.
42 Com eles, pois, estavam Hemã e Jedutum, com trombetas e címbalos, para os que haviam de tocar, e com outros instrumentos de música de Deus; porém os filhos de Jedutum estavam à porta.
43 And all the people departed, every man to his house,and David went round, to bless his own household.
43 Então todo o povo se retirou, cada um para a sua casa; e voltou Davi, para abençoar a sua casa.
