1 Now, concerning the collection which is for the saints, just as I directed the assemblies of Galatia, so, also do, ye:
1 Quanto à coleta para o povo de Deus, façam como ordenei às igrejas da Galácia.
2 Upon the first of the week, let, each one of you, put, by itself, in store, as he may be prospering,lest, as soon as I come, then, collections, should be in progress.
2 No primeiro dia da semana, cada um de vocês separe uma quantia, de acordo com a sua renda, reservando-a para que não seja preciso fazer coletas quando eu chegar.
3 And, as soon as I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve by letters, these, will I send, to bear away your favour unto Jerusalem:
3 Então, quando eu chegar, entregarei cartas de recomendação aos homens que vocês aprovarem e os mandarei para Jerusalém com a oferta de vocês.
4 And, if it be meet that, I also, be journeying, with me, shall they journey.
4 Se me parecer conveniente ir também, eles me acompanharão.
5 Now I will come unto you, as soon as I have passed through Macedonia,for I do pass through Macedonia,
5 Depois de passar pela Macedônia irei visitá-los, já que passarei por lá.
6 And, with you, I may perhaps sojourn, or winter, that, ye, may set me forward, whithersoever I may be journeying.
6 Talvez eu permaneça com vocês durante algum tempo, ou até mesmo passe o inverno com vocês, para que me ajudem na viagem, aonde quer que eu vá.
7 For I do not wish to see you, just now, by the way; for I hope to remain, some time, with you,if, the Lord, permit.
7 Desta vez não quero apenas vê-los e fazer uma visita de passagem; espero ficar algum tempo com vocês, se o Senhor permitir.
8 But I remain in Ephesus, until the Pentecost,
8 Mas permanecerei em Éfeso até o Pentecoste,
9 For, a door, unto me, hath opened, great and effectual, and, opposers, are many.
9 porque se abriu para mim uma porta ampla e promissora; e há muitos adversários.
10 But, if Timothy should come, see that, without fear, he be with you, for, in the work of the Lord, doth he labour, even as, I:
10 Se Timóteo for, tomem providências para que ele não tenha nada que temer enquanto estiver com vocês, pois ele trabalha na obra do Senhor, assim como eu.
11 Let no one then despise him; and set ye him forward in peace, that he may come unto me, for I expect him with the brethren.
11 Portanto, ninguém o despreze. Ajudem-no a prosseguir viagem em paz, para que ele possa voltar a mim. Eu o estou esperando juntamente com os irmãos.
12 But, concerning Apollos the brother, much, did I beseech him, that he would come unto you, with the brethren, but there was, by no means, any will, that he should come, now;he will come, however, as soon as he hath good opportunity.
12 Quanto ao irmão Apolo, insisti que fosse visitar vocês, juntamente com os irmãos. Ele não quis de modo nenhum ir agora, mas irá quando tiver boa oportunidade.
13 Be on the watch, stand firm in the faith, be menbe strong;
13 Estejam vigilantes, mantenham-se firmes na fé, sejam homens de coragem, sejam fortes.
14 Let, all your affairs, in love, be carried on.
14 Façam tudo com amor.
15 Now I beseech you, brethren,ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is a first-fruit of Achaia, and, for the purpose of ministering, they devoted themselves, unto the saints
15 Vocês sabem que os da casa de Estéfanas foram o primeiro fruto da Acaia e que eles têm se dedicado ao serviço dos santos. Recomendo-lhes, irmãos,
16 That, ye also, be submitting yourselves unto such as these,and unto everyone helping in the work and toiling.
16 que se submetam a pessoas como eles e a todos os que cooperam e trabalham conosco.
17 I Rejoice, moreover, in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: because, your own shortcoming, these, have filled up:
17 Alegrei-me com a vinda de Estéfanas, Fortunato e Acaico, porque eles supriram o que estava faltando da parte de vocês.
18 They have given rest, in fact, unto my spirit, and yours: hold in acknowledgment, therefore, such as these.
18 Eles trouxeram alívio ao meu espírito, e ao de vocês também. Valorizem homens como estes.
19 The assemblies of Asia salute you: Aquila and Priscilla, with the assembly meeting at their house, salute you much in the Lord:
19 As igrejas da província da Ásia enviam-lhes saudações. Áqüila e Priscila os saúdam afetuosamente no Senhor, e também a igreja que se reúne na casa deles.
20 All the brethren salute you:Salute ye one another with a holy kiss.
20 Todos os irmãos daqui lhes enviam saudações. Saúdem-se uns aos outros com beijo santo.
21 The salutation of Paulwith my own hand.
21 Eu, Paulo, escrevi esta saudação de próprio punho.
22 If anyone doth not dearly love the Lord, let him be anathema .
22 Se alguém não ama o Senhor, seja amaldiçoado. Vem, Senhor!
23 The favour of the Lord Jesus, be with you.
23 A graça do Senhor Jesus seja com vocês.
24 My love, be with you all, in Christ Jesus.
24 Recebam o amor que tenho por todos vocês em Cristo Jesus. Amém.
