1 Sa yena ijipihtiye ñañe yeyere, ni mehoñene, masa ihñono dihita quehnoano iji mehoñene, apee borore tiquina cʉogʉ̃ cooyere, apequinare ñano quiti yeyere tire duhuya mʉsa.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Sa yena coã masa bajuayequina epẽcore tiquina cahmeno saha mʉsa gʉ̃hʉ quehnoañe buheyere Cohãcjʉ̃ yere tutuaro cahme nemoña. Sa cahme nemoña mʉsa tiquirore mʉsa wacũ tutua nemoatire, tiquiro yʉhdʉonohatina mʉsa ijiatire.
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 Sata ijinata mʉsa. Mari pʉhtoro mʉsare tiquiro quehnoano yeyere mehenogã masi tuhasare mʉsa.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Cristo catigʉ̃ yeriquiro ʉtã yero saha ijire. Wʉhʉ dahreyequina ihcãria ʉtãre tiquina cahmedaro saha masa tiquirore cahmedare. Cohãcjʉ̃ pehe tiquirore ihñagʉ̃ tiquiro beseriquiro quehnoa yʉhdʉariquiro ijire. Tiquiro sa ijiriquiro ijigʉ̃ tiquirore wacũ tutuaya.

5 Sa yena mʉsa gʉ̃hʉ wʉhʉ cjẽ ʉtã paca yero saha ijire. Mʉsa sa ijina Cohãcjʉ̃ ya wʉhʉ cjẽ ʉtãre ihcãno saha tiquina cũriro saha mʉsa tiquiro yequina gʉ̃hʉ ihcãno saha quehnoano ijinata. Sa yena Cohãcjʉ̃ ya wʉhʉ cjãna quehnoana pahia ijinata mʉsa. Sa yena Jesucristo yedohoye mehna Cohãcjʉ̃ yere quehnoano yenata mʉsa. Mʉsa sa yegʉ̃ ihña bucuerota Cohãcjʉ̃.
5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Ohõ saha nine Cohãcjʉ̃ yere tiquina ojoari pũpʉ:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Tiquirore wacũ tutuayequina pehe quehnoa yʉhdʉaro wahaeta. Sa yero ihyo ijiriquiro ijierare tiquiro. Tiquirore wacũ tutueyequina pehe sijoro saha wahaeta. Tiquinare ohõ saha nine Cohãcjʉ̃ yere tiquina ojoari pũpʉ.
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Ahri gʉ̃hʉre nine Cohãcjʉ̃ yere tiquina ojoari pũpʉ:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Mʉsa pehe Cohãcjʉ̃ beserina ijire. Tiquiro mari pʉhtoro tiquiro yequina pahia, tiquiro yere ye basana ijire mʉsa. Sa yena tiquiro ya curua cjãna ñañe mariedana, Cohãcjʉ̃ yequinata ijire mʉsa. Sata ijire mʉsa. Cohãcjʉ̃ tiquiro quehnoa yʉhdʉayere tiquiro yerire apequinare yahuatina ijire mʉsa. Mʉsare beseahye tiquiro mʉsare ñañene ye dutieraro. Sa besero quehnoañe pehere yeanajare cũri mʉsare.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Panopʉre dʉhseatina ijierari jiri mʉsa. Yojopʉ pũritare Cohãcjʉ̃ yequina ijire mʉsa. Panopʉre mʉsare paja ihñariquiro mʉsare mariedahye. Yojopʉ pũritare mʉsare Cohãcjʉ̃ paja ihñari.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Yʉhʉ cahĩna, ahri yehpapʉ iji dojoatina ijierare mʉsa. Cohãcjʉ̃ yequina ijire mʉsa. Mʉsa sa ijina ijigʉ̃ ahrire tutuaro yahuaja mʉsare: Mʉsa ñañe tutuaro cahmeñene yeracãhña. Ti ñañene tutuaro cahmena, ñana wahana niaga mʉsa.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Cohãcjʉ̃re cahmeeñequina watoa ijina quehnoano yena ijiya mʉsa, mʉsare “Yahusãri”, nina. Mʉsa sa yegʉ̃ tiquina yojopʉre mʉsare ñano yahusã duepeta, mʉsa quehnoano yeyere masieta tiquina. Sa masiñe, tiquina Cohãcjʉ̃re “Quehnoagʉ, tutuagʉ ijire”, nieta. Sata nieta Cristo ahri yehpapʉ tiquiro tojoa tagʉ̃.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Mari pʉhtorore yʉhti duana ahri yehpa cjẽna pʉhtoa gʉ̃hʉre yʉhtiya mʉsa. Roma cjʉ̃nore mʉsa ijipihtina pʉhtorore tiquiro gʉ̃hʉre yʉhtiya.

14 Pʉhtoare yʉhdʉdʉcayequinare buhiri dahre dutiro, ohori pʉhtoro tiquirore yedohoyequinare. Sa yero quehnoano yeyequinare “Quehnoano yeri mʉsa”, ni dutiro ohori tiquiro tiquinare. Tiquiro sa ohogʉ̃, tiquinare yʉhtiya mʉsa.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Mʉsa quehnoano yegʉ̃ ihñañe tʉho masieñequina tiquina esa tuharo mʉsare quiti dahre duepeta quiti dahre masiedare. Mʉsa sa yegʉ̃ cahmene Cohãcjʉ̃. Sa yena mʉsa pʉhtoare yʉhtiya.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Cohãcjʉ̃ mʉsa pʉhtoro ijire. Apequina cahacjãna ijierare mʉsa. Sa ijiepenata “Ʉsãre dutiriquiro mariedare. Sa yena ñañene yenatja”, ni tʉhotueracãhña, “Ñañene yeari”, nina. Cohãcjʉ̃ cahacjãna ijire mʉsa. Sa yena tiquirore quehnoano yʉhtina ijiya mʉsa.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Ijipihtiyequina masare ño peoya. Mari acaye Jesu yequinare cahĩña. Cohãcjʉ̃re ño peoye mehna ihñaña. Ahri yehpa cjẽna pʉhtoro gʉ̃hʉre ño peoya.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Cahacjãna, mʉsa cua pesaro mehna mʉsa pʉhtoare yʉhtiya. Quehnoañequina, mʉsare quehnoano yeyequina dihitare yʉhtina ijieracãhña. Mʉsa mehna usuayequina gʉ̃hʉre yʉhtiya mʉsa.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Mʉsa ñano yerapegʉ̃ta mʉsare tiquina buhiri dahregʉ̃ “Cohãcjʉ̃ cahmeno sahata ye duaja”, mʉsa ni tʉhotugʉ̃ tire mʉsa ihcãno sahagʉ̃ “Quehnoano yeri mʉsa”, ninota Cohãcjʉ̃ mʉsare.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Mʉsa ñano yeri buhiri tiquina mʉsare buhiri dahregʉ̃ tire mʉsa ihcãno sahagʉ̃ ti dʉhseati ijierare. Sa yena mʉsa quehnoano mʉsa yeri buhirire tiquina buhiri dahregʉ̃ tire mʉsa quehnoano mehna ihcãno sahagʉ̃ Cohãcjʉ̃ “Quehnoano yeri mʉsa”, ninota mʉsare.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Sa ñano yʉhdʉanajare mʉsare tiquiro yequina iji dutiri jiri Cohãcjʉ̃. Cristo mʉsa ye ijiatire ñano yʉhdʉri tiquirore mʉsa ihña cũatire.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Tiquiro ne ñano yerari. Sa yero ne ni mehoedari.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Tiquirore tiquina tuhtigʉ̃, tiquiro pehe tiquinare tuhti cahmedari. Tiquirore tiquina ñano yepegʉ̃ta “Quẽitja mʉsare”, ne niedari. Tiquina sa yepegʉ̃ta tiquinare Cohãcjʉ̃ tiquiro buhiri dahreatire potota tiquiro yeatire masino, “Yʉhʉ Pacʉpʉ tiquinare buhiri dahrerota”, ni tʉhoturi.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Tiquiro basi curusapʉ mari ñañe buhirire yariari. Sa waha yariari pari turi mari ñañene yeratire, Cohãcjʉ̃ cahmeñe pehere mari yeatire. Tiquiro ñano cami tire, marine pecapʉ wahaborinare yʉhdʉoro taro.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Oveja wisiaye tiquina butiriro sahata mari gʉ̃hʉ pecapʉ butiatina ijimi. Yojopʉ pehere Cristore, ovejare ihña ihboriquiro yero saha ijiriquirore, marine ihña ihboriquirore wacũ tutuaja mari. Sa wacũ tutuana, tiquiro yequina wahaʉ mari.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
