1 Mary Magdalene arrived at the tomb early on the first day of the week while it was still dark. She saw the stone was taken away from the tomb.
1 Domingo bem cedo, quando ainda estava escuro, Maria Madalena foi até o túmulo e viu que a pedra que tapava a entrada tinha sido tirada.
2 She ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple whom Jesus loved and said to them: »They have taken the Lord away out of the tomb. We do not know where they laid him.«
2 Então foi correndo até o lugar onde estavam Simão Pedro e outro discípulo, aquele que Jesus amava, e disse: — Tiraram o Senhor Jesus do túmulo, e não sabemos onde o puseram!
3 Peter and the other disciple went to the tomb.
3 Então Pedro e o outro discípulo foram até o túmulo.
4 They both ran together. The other disciple out ran Peter and got to the tomb first.
4 Os dois saíram correndo juntos, mas o outro correu mais depressa do que Pedro e chegou primeiro.
5 He stooped and looked inside where he saw the linen clothes. He did not enter.
5 Ele se abaixou para olhar lá dentro e viu os lençóis de linho; porém não entrou no túmulo.
6 Simon Peter followed him to the tomb and entered to see the linen clothes laying there.
6 Mas Pedro, que chegou logo depois, entrou. Ele também viu os lençóis colocados ali
7 The napkin that was on his head was not with the linen clothes. It was rolled up by itself.
7 e a faixa que tinham posto em volta da cabeça de Jesus. A faixa não estava junto com os lençóis, mas estava enrolada ali ao lado.
8 The other disciple entered the tomb. He saw and believed.
8 Aí o outro discípulo, que havia chegado primeiro, também entrou no túmulo. Ele viu e creu.
9 They still did not know the Scripture that he must rise from the dead.
9 (Eles ainda não tinham entendido as Escrituras Sagradas , que dizem que era preciso que Jesus ressuscitasse.)
10 The disciples went away again to their own home.
10 E os dois voltaram para casa.
11 Mary stood outside the tomb weeping. She stooped and looked into the tomb.
11 Maria Madalena tinha ficado perto da entrada do túmulo, chorando. Enquanto chorava, ela se abaixou, olhou para dentro
12 She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
12 e viu dois anjos vestidos de branco, sentados onde tinha sido posto o corpo de Jesus. Um estava na cabeceira, e o outro, nos pés.
13 »Woman why do you weep,« they asked? She told them: »They have taken my Lord and I do not know where they laid him.«
13 Os anjos perguntaram: — Mulher, por que você está chorando? Ela respondeu: — Levaram embora o meu Senhor, e eu não sei onde o puseram!
14 She turned and look there was Jesus standing nearby. She did not know it was Jesus.
14 Depois de dizer isso, ela virou para trás e viu Jesus ali de pé, mas não o reconheceu.
15 Jesus said to her: »Woman, why do you weep? Who are you looking for?« She thought he was the gardener. She said: »Sir, if you have carried him somewhere else tell me where you laid him and I will take him away.«
15 Então Jesus perguntou: Ela pensou que ele era o jardineiro e por isso respondeu: — Se o senhor o tirou daqui, diga onde o colocou, e eu irei buscá-lo.
16 Jesus said: »Mary.« She turned and said to him in Hebrew: »Rabboni,« which is to say, Teacher.
16 — Maria! — disse Jesus. Ela virou e respondeu em — “Rabôni!” (Esta palavra quer dizer “Mestre”.)
17 Jesus said: »Do not touch me for I am not yet ascended to the Father. Go to my brothers, and say to them, I ascend to my Father and youre Father, and my God and your God.« (Revelation 3:12)
17 Jesus disse:
18 Mary Magdalene went to tell the disciples: »I have seen the Lord! He said these things to me.«
18 Então Maria Madalena foi e disse aos discípulos de Jesus: — Eu vi o Senhor! E contou o que Jesus lhe tinha dito.
19 It was evening of the first day of the week. The disciples shut the doors where they stayed for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them: »May you have Peace.«
19 Naquele mesmo domingo, à tarde, os discípulos de Jesus estavam reunidos de portas trancadas, com medo dos líderes judeus. Então Jesus chegou, ficou no meio deles e disse:
20 When he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were glad, when they saw the Lord.
20 Em seguida lhes mostrou as suas mãos e o seu lado. E eles ficaram muito alegres ao verem o Senhor.
21 Jesus therefore said to them again: »May you have peace. As the Father sent me, even so I send you.«
21 Então Jesus disse de novo:
22 After he said this he breathed on them and said: »Receive Holy Spirit.
22 Depois soprou sobre eles e disse:
23 »Forgive sins and they are forgiven. Do not forgive sins and they are not forgiven.«
23 Se vocês perdoarem os pecados de alguém, esses pecados são perdoados; mas, se não perdoarem, eles não são perdoados.
24 Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
24 Acontece que Tomé, um dos discípulos, que era chamado de “o Gêmeo”, não estava com eles quando Jesus chegou.
25 The other disciples therefore said to him: »We have seen the Lord.« He said: »Unless I feel the print of the nails in his hands and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.«
25 Então os outros discípulos disseram a Tomé: — Nós vimos o Senhor! Ele respondeu: — Se eu não vir o sinal dos pregos nas mãos dele, e não tocar ali com o meu dedo, e também se não puser a minha mão no lado dele, não vou crer!
26 Eight days later the disciples were inside with the doors shut and Thomas was with them. Jesus came in and stood in the midst, and said: »Peace be with you.«
26 Uma semana depois, os discípulos de Jesus estavam outra vez reunidos ali com as portas trancadas, e Tomé estava com eles. Jesus chegou, ficou no meio deles e disse:
27 Jesus said to Thomas: »Put your finger here and look at my hands. Put your hand into my side. Stop doubting and believe!«
27 Em seguida disse a Tomé:
28 Thomas answered: »My Lord and my God!« (John 1:18; John 10:36; John 20:17)
28 Então Tomé exclamou: — Meu Senhor e meu Deus!
29 Jesus said to him: »Because you saw me, you believe. Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet believe!«
29 — Você creu porque me viu? — disse Jesus. — Felizes são os que não viram, mas assim mesmo creram!
30 Jesus did many miracles signs in the presence of the disciples. They are not written in this book.
30 Jesus fez diante dos discípulos muitos outros milagres que não estão escritos neste livro.
31 These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. By believing you may have life in his name.
31 Mas estes foram escritos para que vocês creiam que Jesus é o Messias , o Filho de Deus. E para que, crendo, tenham vida por meio dele.
