1 This is a list of Israelite family heads, regiment and battalion commanders, and officers who were serving the king in all the army’s units. Throughout each year they came for a month at a time and then left. Each unit consisted of twenty-four thousand men.
1 Estes são os filhos de Israel segundo o seu número, e os chefes dos pais, e os capitães dos milhares e das centenas, com os seus oficiais, que serviam ao rei em todos os negócios das turmas, entrando e saindo de mês em mês, em todos os meses do ano, cada turma de vinte e quatro mil.
2 Jashobeam, son of Zabdiel, was in charge of the first unit, the one during the first month. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.
2 Sobre a primeira turma do mês primeiro estava Jasobeão, filho de Zabdiel; e em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
3 He was a descendant of Perez, and he was head of all of the army’s officers for the first month.
3 Era este dos filhos de Perez, chefe de todos os capitães dos exércitos, para o primeiro mês.
4 Dodai, Ahoh’s descendant, was in charge of the unit during the second month. It was his unit. Mikloth was one of its leaders. In Dodai’s unit there were twenty-four thousand.
4 E sobre a turma do segundo mês era Dodai, o aoíta, com a sua turma, cujo chefe era Miclote; também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
5 The third commander of the army during the third month was Benaiah, son of the priest Jehoiada. He was the head, and in his unit there were twenty-four thousand.
5 O terceiro capitão do exército do terceiro mês era Benaia, filho de Joiada, oficial-mor e chefe; também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
6 This Benaiah was one of the thirty fighting men and commander of the thirty as well as his own unit. His son was Ammizabad.
6 Era este Benaia um varão entre os trinta, e sobre os trinta; e sobre a sua turma estava Amizabade, seu filho.
7 Asahel, Joab’s brother, was in charge of the fourth unit during the fourth month, and after him was his son Zebadiah. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.
7 O quarto, para o quarto mês, Asael, irmão de Joabe, e, depois dele, Zebadias, seu filho; também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
8 Shamhuth, Izrah’s descendant, was commander of the fifth unit during the fifth month. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.

9 Ira, the son of Ikkesh from Tekoa, was in charge of the sixth unit during the sixth month. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.

10 Helez, a Pelonite from the descendants of Ephraim, was in charge of the seventh unit during the seventh month. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.

11 Sibbecai, a descendant of Zerah from Hushah, was in charge of the eighth unit during the eighth month. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.

12 Abiezer, a member of the tribe of Benjamin from Anathoth, was in charge of the ninth unit during the ninth month. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.

13 Mahrai, a descendant of Zerah from Netophah, was in charge of the tenth unit during the tenth month. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.

14 Benaiah, a member of the tribe of Ephraim from Pirathon, was in charge of the eleventh unit during the eleventh month. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.

15 During the twelfth month, the twelfth unit was commanded by Heldai from Netophah. He was Othniel’s descendant. In his unit there were twenty-four thousand.
15 O duodécimo, para o duodécimo mês, Heldai, o netofatita, de Otniel; também em sua turma havia vinte e quatro mil.
16 The following officers were in charge of the tribes of Israel: for the tribe of Reuben- Eliezer, son of Zichri for the tribe of Simeo, Shephatiah, son of Maacah
16 Porém sobre as tribos de Israel eram estes: sobre os rubenitas era chefe Eliézer, filho de Zicri; sobre os simeonitas, Sefatias, filho de Maaca;
17 for the tribe of Levi, Hashabiah, son of Kemuel for the family of Aaron, Zadok
17 sobre os levitas, Hasabias, filho de Quemuel; sobre os aronitas, Zadoque;
18 for the tribe of Judah, Elihu, one of David’s brothers for the tribe of Issachar, Omri, son of Michael
18 sobre Judá, Eliú, dos irmãos de Davi; sobre Issacar, Onri, filho de Micael;
19 for the tribe of Zebulun, Ishmaiah, son of Obadiah for the tribe of Naphtali, Jerimoth, son of Azriel

23 David did not count those less than twenty years old, because Jehovah promised that the people of Israel would be as numerous as the stars in the sky.

24 Joab, son of Zeruiah, started to count them but did not finish. God was angry with Israel because of this, and the report from it was never included in the official records of King David.
24 Joabe, filho de Zeruia, tinha começado a numerá- los, porém não acabou, porquanto viera, por isso, grande ira sobre Israel; pelo que o número se não pôs na conta das crônicas do rei Davi.
25 These were all the commanders in charge of King David’s property: for the royal treasuries, Azmaveth, son of Adiel for the goods in the fields, cities, villages, and watchtowers- Jonathan, son of Uzziah
25 E sobre os tesouros do rei estava Azmavete, filho de Adiel; e sobre os tesouros da terra, e das cidades, e das aldeias, e das torres, Jônatas, filho de Uzias;
26 for the farm workers in the fields, Ezri, son of Chelub
26 e sobre os que faziam a obra do campo, na lavoura da terra, Ezri, filho de Quelube;
27 for the vineyards, Shimei from Ramah for storing wine that came from the vineyards- Zabdi from Shepham
27 e sobre as vinhas, Simei, o ramatita; porém sobre o que das vides entrava nos tesouros do vinho, Zabdi o sifmita;
28 for the olive and fig trees in the foothills, Baal Hanan from Gedor for storing olive oil- Joash
28 e sobre os olivais e figueiras bravas que havia nas campinas, Baal-Hanã, o gederita; porém Joás, sobre os tesouros do azeite;
29 for the herds grazing in Sharon, Shitrai from Sharon for the herds in the valleys- Shaphat, son of Adlai
29 e sobre os gados que pasciam em Sarom, Sitrai, o saronita; porém sobre os gados dos vales, Safate, filho de Adlai;
30 for the camels, Obil, a descendant of Ishmael for the donkeys, Jehdeiah from Meronoth
30 e sobre os camelos, Obil, o ismaelita; e sobre as jumentas, Jedias, o meronotita;
31 for the flocks, Jaziz from Hagar
31 e sobre o gado miúdo, Jaziz, o hagarita; todos estes eram maiorais da fazenda que tinha o rei Davi.
32 David’s uncle Jonathan, an educated man who possessed insight, was David’s adviser. Jonathan and Jehiel, son of Hachmoni, were in charge of the king’s sons.
32 Jônatas, tio de Davi, era do conselho, homem sábio e também escriba; e Jeiel, filho de Hacmoni, estava com os filhos do rei;
33 Ahithophel was the king’s adviser. Hushai, a descendant of Archi, was the king’s friend.
33 e Aitofel era do conselho do rei; e Husai, o arquita, amigo do rei;
34 Jehoiada son of Benaiah and Abiathar succeeded Ahithophel. Joab was the commander of the royal army.
34 e, depois de Aitofel, Joiada, filho de Benaia, e Abiatar; porém Joabe era chefe do exército do rei.
