¹ Great is the LORD, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain.

¹ Grande é o Senhor e mui digno de louvor na cidade do nosso Deus, no seu monte santo.

² Beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth, like the heights of Zaphon "is Mount Zion, the city of the Great King.

² Formoso de sítio e alegria de toda a terra é o monte Sião sobre os lados do Norte, a cidade do grande Rei.

³ God is in her citadels; he has shown himself to be her fortress.

⁹ Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love.

¹⁰ Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness.

¹⁰ Segundo é o teu nome, ó Deus, assim é o teu louvor, até aos confins da terra; a tua mão direita está cheia de justiça.

¹¹ Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments.

¹¹ Alegre-se o monte de Sião; alegrem-se as filhas de Judá por causa dos teus juízos.

¹² Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers,

¹² Rodeai Sião; cercai-a; contai as suas torres;

¹³ consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation.

¹³ notai bem os seus antemuros; observai os seus palácios, para que tudo narreis à geração seguinte.

¹⁴ For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.

¹⁴ Porque este Deus é o nosso Deus para sempre; ele será nosso guia até à morte.
